When I arrived at this restaurant, I was greeted by a very friendly young man. Staff was very attentive and food was good. Recommend highly.

Clean, welcoming, modern restaurant with fantastic service. We stayed there for three days, and Kim was there all three days. She greeted us by name after the first day and was extremely kind and welcoming. In an effort to avoid the high hotel price for food, we attempted to go to a few other local places, but after looking at the menu and the unwelcoming atmosphere, we drove back. We ended back at the hotel and had brunch there. Definitely one of our favs.

This place looks very nice inside. Service is really good, although we were sat at a too small table (had reservations too). I wanted to like it but the food was just awful. We were a party of 4 and shared two appetizers and ordered 4 different entrees. No one liked their food. I ordered the Caesar salad with chicken and the whole thing including the lettuce was grilled. It was soggy and gross, very small lettuce portion, like a half of a small romaine lettuce head. We also ordered the short rib and it was so hard you could not cut into it with a knife. Sent that back and the replacement for it was bad too, but had lots more fat in it so that it could be cut. Overall I do not recommend.

Nobody was at this restaurant when we walked in which should have told us to leave. My grilled cheese was a fail. The cheese was not melted at all so I didn't eat it. The fries were unfortunately the best part. The burger was nothing special but a little overcooked. Not even close to being worth the $40. The server was very attentive since we were the only customers. Others came, looked at the menu, and left. I wish we had done the same.

It's cute and inside of the hotel on the 1st floor. Sat at the bar and had to wait for someone to come serve me just 1 beer.

Just a perfectly crafted cocktail that respects tradition but adds a little dark, sultry wink. It lingers just long enough to make you lean in for another sip. 10/10. Grumpy never tasted so good -- and I wouldn't mind getting into trouble with it again. The bar itself? Classy without being stuffy. The kind of place where you can show up dressed up or dressed down and still feel like you belong. Dim lighting, great vibe, zero pretension. I'll absolutely be back, service was stellar. We were greeted warmly by Manager Alex. She's very professional and I always see her working, bussing tables, wiping down counters. etc. As usual, the cooked to order hamburgers were wonderful! I don't know what they do to the meat in the kitchen but this is the best burger I've had in recent memory. I like the branding on top of the bun too, that's a nice added touch. Onion rings and fries on point. The establishment is VERY clean, and there is live music on the weekends. There is a place to dance and a playground for the kids out back. Lots of beer on tap, some wine, too. Plenty of seating for large groups. Today when my friends and I arrived, we were informed by Alex that their food delivery truck is stuck in Temple due to the recent tornado, and the truck will be late with their meat shipment. Therefore, there were no onions rings or hamburger left (we got the last two patties). That was no problem for us at all but someone certainly got hurt over not getting their hamburger today as some people who came after us chose to not stay, since they, too, had their heart sent on a delicious meal. I see someone here left a negative review, angry because they didn't get their hamburger (First World Problems). It's not The Palomino's fault the tornado disrupted the supply chain! Give the Palomino a try, it's down by San Gabriel Park and if you go at dusk, you might see the bats as they fly out from under the Austin Ave Bridge

It was very tasty and I loved dipping mine in the side of beer cheese. Yum! I ordered onion rings on the side and they met my expectations. Tables are set up picnic style and you sit wherever you can find space. The night we went even had some live music- quite entertaining. This is an order at the counter type joint that also has a pretty decent beer selection. This is a good spot for burgers in Georgetown, TX.

There are a number of large screen TVs throughout. You can also play shuffleboard here. The menu comes down to pub grub, but they have many sandwiches and pizzas to choose from as well as hot dogs and burgers. We'd like to have seen more in the way of apps and sides to order, though. Spinach pizza, recommended by our first waitress who also tends bar, was out of this world. Easily in the top 5 pizzas I've had lifetime. Thin crust was cooked perfectly and packed with fresh spinach, olives, and red onions. Our Mexican martinis were generous and spot on. As the game went into the second half we ordered a side of plain fries, which, while inexpensive, were a bit burnt and merely an adequate serving. We should have ordered two servings to share but found it harder than expected to pin our waiter down on the size of a single order. Another quibble was the service. Initially, our bartender took care of everything and she was outstanding. She handed off to a younger male server who was fairly inattentive unless we gestured for him. Then again, other patrons were ordering more drinks by the single rather than a round, so it was a busy day. They and their sister restaurant Mulligan's both charge a service fee for credit cards, so be ready for that nick. But, all in all, I could not have envisioned a better experience for what we had in mind. Definitely a keeper that has a good blend between restaurant and bar atmosphere. Highly recommended! P.S. You might think the place has something to do with baseball given the slightly off name but it appears to be about a beloved dog. There are also some clear ties to the Iowa State Cyclones visible on the walls.

Finally made our first visit so we could try "the best fish & chips" in the Austin area. I was surprised how big it was, they have a patio, a bar area and lots of tables I was shocked as from the outside it looks tiny. Service was fantastic which was shocking with them closing soon. The service was enough to want me to go back hopefully for us in this area they end up somewhere close by as I know how hard it is to find good workers. Pretzels were good! Onion rings were our favorite! Their version of the Philly was just okay, was very plain with not much flavor hubby didn't even finish half. But the star of the show was the fish and chips. My son was over the moon! Couldn't even finish half of it and he wanted to haha. Sad to see they will be closing their doors but hopefully the owner has something else up his sleeve as they were onto something with this place.

At the time this establishment was built, we lived nearby and were extremely excited to have an Irish option so close. We've been several times and enjoy ourselves a lot. Their menu is full of good appetizers that pair well with their brews, which is what they do really well. A couple years ago, we celebrated a milestone anniversary here, but this time we stepped it up a little: we got a little private table inside a barrel in their courtyard, and it was a very cozy and wonderful setting for our anniversary celebration. The very best thing about this establishment, however, is their service.
