Second time in here with my partner and the same crew including a baby in a stroller. Both times we sat way in the back. Really nice place. Food menu is totally better than adequate and the drinks are great. We had a variety of eats and all were great. I like pizza but don't eat a lot cause of the carbs but I make an exception here. Staff is more than accommodating, espicially since we had a stroller and a little one. Up front the space is wider and there are a couple tables as you walk in. The rest is a long bar with a narrow isle and tables against the wall. The whole layout reminds me of many of the establishments we frequented in Serbia. So 2 times in already and next time in Martinez we will be back again.

It's criminal that I've yet to review this gem after coming to so many years! The bar is cozy and warm with amazing staff. The bartenders always ensure your drink is perfect and they make many unique and tasty beverages. I would say they are some of the best mixologists in the CoCo County! The food is always tasty and fresh and the pizza is a delicious crowd pleaser. If you're in Martinez and want a fun time with great drinks this stop should be on your list.

My boyfriend and I decided to go on a spur of the moment date night and were shocked to discover that Market on Main closed! We walked around town trying to decide where to eat when we stepped inside this spot. Service was great, the food was so good and the cocktails were even better! I'll definitely be back for more flatbread pizzas and cocktails in the near future.

Hailey, Cory & Mama Z are the dream team! they make my Thursdays better with their excellent craft cocktails, amazing pizza and witty banter. Cory is such a great cheerleader for Martinez and is always going above and beyond. Hailey is a master mixologist who KNOWS her craft.

Always a good spot for a cocktail! Super helpful and knowledgeable bartenders who have a flair for making fun cocktails. Great selection of whiskey! The pizzas are really tasty and they've got a decent selection there too. Fun and cute atmosphere with a few tables and a long bar. Been here a dozen times and will continue to visit!

Strolled down here after dinner in Walnut Creek looking for a good place for martinis. After looking all over downtown, we finally stumbled upon this literal hole in the wall of a bar. Asked the girl at the bar if she can make a martini and she assured me she could. came back with the best martini I've ever had, bonus points for the extra olives!! If you like martinis, you know how specific they have to be to be actually good so I was impressed.

This is hands down the highest quality cocktail bar in Martinez. This place has an expansive selection of spirits and talented bartenders who can create personalized drinks depending on a customers tastes. Everything here seems precise. The place is branded as a craft cocktail house and they are just that. It's nice to have somewhere local that can fulfill that itch. Tonight I had a simple smoked old fashioned with blackstrap bitters and a salted caramel espresso martini. They were both delicious. If you at all enjoy espresso martinis they have a quietly listed selection of multiple riffs and if the others are as good as the one I tried, then they are listed much too quietly. Please try them for me. I also tried one of their pizzas. It was a breaded chicken parm pizza with basil and olive oil. It was one of the best pizzas I've had in Martinez. I really like the place. The long bar had plenty of space for me to walk through and the bathroom was clean. The only slight complaint I can come up with is that they didn't have clear ice, but I'm just personally a sucker for clear ice in cocktails. I get it isn't that easy. Still, I can confidently say I will be back.

Loved stumbling upon this cool, cozy, crafty bar/eatery! Popped in for a bite with a friend and we shared a flatbread and pizza, with a couple slices to spare. I forgot the name of the flatbread but it had brie cheese, pear, bacon, balsamic, onions - it was creamy & sweet. The PO pizza was loaded with meats & a balsamic drizzle, more on the savory side compared to the flatbread. They were both delicious. The bartender was super cool and friendly. Although we didn't get any drinks this time, we peeped the menu and saw how extensive it is and it has something for everyone. Will definitely have to come back to try a fun cocktail. Love the vibe here!

I love coming in here for dates, drinks, and delicious pizza. Their food menu has tons of variety and everything we've had has been served up tasty and fresh. Also several incredible bourbans and lots of high end tequila choices, and they always have at least one sour beer... All my faves! You can expect without fail great service and friendly vibes. We don't go out in Martinez all that often, but my boyfriend and I make a point of stopping in here whenever we're in the neighborhood.

Loved the ambiance. These were the best drinks I've had out in so long! The food was so good I almost cried. And everything came out super fast and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I can't wait to come back!

Glad to find a bar with Great cocktails in Martinez. Service was great and the drinks were really good too. They also serve food here which I haven't tried but will do so next time I am in town.

Mimosas! I think they are only $8, so good!

What a cool spot in downtown Martinez! Excellent fully stocked bar with an amazing wine selection. They also have a big whiskey selection. We stopped in and had mimosas on weekend (choice of OJ, cranberry juice, pineapple, etc). It's really popping. The food looked great but we already had lunch so didn't order anything. Bartender Lainy has her own special drink menus on Sunday, so go to the farmers market and stop by after.

What is the outdoor seating here like? I have the impression from somewhere that it might be high-top tables - which I find really awkward and uncomfortable. The place sounds great, though, so I'm really hoping I'm wrong about the seating ;)

Starting with the Mt. Beautiful Estate Sauvignon Blanc, found this good. It's good, but not great. It's a decent wine but I think there are other more interesting Australian wines out there. The Rabble Rosé from Paso Robles was crisp with just an edge of tart. Like roasted strawberries, if that makes sense. And the Seaglass Riesling from the central coast is now a fave. It's a sweeter wine and a good end to a tasting, for sure. Glad I explored that one. It far exceeded my expectations. The vibe is good. The team is wonderful, caring and attentive, even if their internet went down and they weren't able to process cards quickly. They kept their frustrations focused on the tech and their attention on their customers. And the people who come in - there for a good time. This was our first experience here. I was not allowed with my 5 month old baby to have a glass of wine in the patio. I was told there's a "no under 21" rule that apparently includes babies. That honestly didn't make sense to me. this is an infant, not even eating solid food yet. I've been to wineries in Napa with my baby and never had an issue, so this felt unwelcoming. This felt like a made up rule to protect non-mother customers, and Benicia is known for that. Horrible. What made it worse was how it was handled. The waitress(blonde, short hair mid-aged lady) came off rude and said, "no under 21, sorry--unless it's a dog haha," and then told me I could go to the taphouse on the corner. It felt dismissive and unprofessional. I even tried calling afterward to speak with a manager, but no one answered. Overall, it left a really bad impression, and I don't feel comfortable coming back after this.

Unfortunately, the festival did not serve any liquor so we decided head down to the local bar before we enjoy the festival and all the food it had. We walked into the bar, and it felt like the establishment hasn't changed a bit. The ambiance is the dark speakeasy bar feeling. We sat at the bar and were greeted by a super nice bartender who made some delicious drinks! Back in the day there used to be brunch and a bigger food menu but they have stopped that. The buffet I guess was a waste and a lot of food didn't get eaten. They used to have a make your own Bloody Mary bar, but didn't see that either. These drinks were made with love! I would definitely recommend this place for drinks, during the evening they usually have a band playing. The only reason why it's not a 5 star is the old furniture... I used to love sitting on the sofas for a cozy feeling but they look pretty beat up now... just makes things look a bit dirty. Our server was doing her best on her own for the entire establishment and we respected her situation. The Gabby's Jolt was merely strong and seemed to be missing ingredients listed on the menu. We had ordered the stuffed mushrooms appetizer which was tasty, the filet mignon entree and halibut entree ( of which we told the server we'd like to have a glass of white wine to accompany it but had to wait until the entree was nearly cold to receive it). We ate two servings of bread an do bitter while we waited for the entrees. The filet was tender and seasoned well in addition to being cooked a bit over medium, had a large portion of spinach and mashed potatoes, and came with the same red wine reduction sauce as the mushrooms which we found a bit odd. The minutely seasoned halibut has to have been the tiniest piece of fish we've ever seen served and only had six small potato quarters and like 6-7 stalks of asparagus with it. Overall, we ate everything because of the small halibut entree, but will most likely not return. I suggest the owners have more than one server on a Friday night, For everyone's sake.

From the looks of it, there are many locals who show love to this place because everyone seemed to know everyone which was a nice thing to know. Our waiter was very nice, I forget her name but she was such a nice lady. The food was amazing. You start off with a sliced bread thats warm straight from the oven and is presented to you with a secret homemade sauce that was super delicious. If you love garlic like myself, you will be scraping that sauce till its gone. We got the calamari to start with and share and I think that was the best calamafi I've ever consumed. I usually dont like the firm texture and fishy flavor of some calamari but this was super tender and super flavorful without the fishiness. A really great starter to share. We each got out own dishes and I got the Frutti di Mare. This dish was super flavorful and exactly what I wanted from a seafood pasta. Their mussels were HUGE though so I got kinda turned off from that (just a personal thing). Everything else was amazing and you also get a choice of soup or salad before your main entree which is a great format for eating.
