I heard that this places offers bottomless mimosas on the weekends so off I went with a girlfriend of mine. The playoffs were on and i wanted to catch them. This place is split in 2 one side is more like a bar with about 3 TVs and the other side is a restaurant. Upon walking it does look a little older inside but it's not awful, it's clean and that's what matters to me. I walked up to what I thought was a host desk but I was wrong lol nobody greeted me initially so i just sat at the bar. They had 2 bartenders Alex was one who was very nice and the drinks were great! We went and sat in the bar side, tv sound was very low so i asked if they could turn it up which they did. Tv sound was still low even when on 100. We ordered food ( chicken picatta, calamari,caprese salad, bambino's pizza) the food was the best part! The picatta was perfectly cooked and seasoned, calamari was like a steak style the sauces that they give are phenomenal!!! The pizza was great, i loved the breading. Again, Alex kept the bottomless mimosas coming and with a smile. The food and drinks would definitely have me Coming back! Met up with some friends and we ended up having the time of our lives. The energy is unmatched. The live music was incredible and set the perfect vibe, the crowd was so fun and lively, and the whole place just buzzed with joy. The food was absolutely delicious -- every bite reminded me why Bambino's is so special. On top of that, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely wonderful, making us feel so welcomed from start to finish. And the owners? I like that there are so many options to choose from on the menu, like pasta, ravioli, and various entrees. But, of course, we came here for pizza! Ordered online, and there was no easy way to order a "half and half" pie with one half a specialty and the other half customized toppings (that's an unfortunate inconvenience). Luckily they called me to clarify the order after it was placed, and though I overpaid, it all worked out in the end. We got a small (12-inch) pizza, half bambino's favorite, the other half with white garlic sauce, pepperoni, mushroom, jalapeno. Also ordered a side of garlic butter for $1.50 (a bite-sized scoop of whipped butter that was quite good) and a small side of ranch dressing for $1.50 as well (I liked that it was not hidden valley brand), both a tad pricey and not great value for what you get. Nonetheless, everything was absolutely delish! The pizza brimming with sauce, melted cheese, and savory toppings, the italian meats slightly crisp on the surface. The small size was more than enough for two hungry adults. We ordered for takeout, but there was a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating available at the restaurant, with a few medium sized TV's playing the niners game when we came by to pick up our order. The place looked a bit outdated, the decor and setting quite plain, and a sort of lackluster vibe even with an exciting football game showing on the screens. It's good we took our order to go. Service was sufficient, and the product did not disappoint. The pie we got, made of quality ingredients, fully satisfied our pizza cravings on this lovely Sunday evening. I used to go there weekly for their eggplant pasta primavera that I loved. Then they changed management - or cooks, I guess. Now the food is absolutely HORRIBLE. They served me a take-out that was burnt, tastless, hardened, overcooked, INEDIBLE. I returned it and caused a bit of ruckus asking how they could actually serve such garbage. Sorry but not sorry! We've been loyal neighborhood customers, but after many disappointing visits, including today, I can confidently say this was the worst dining experience we've had here. This place has become a hit-or-miss spot. We keep coming back for their delicious pizzas and pastas (which we do love), and we've even had the pleasure of being served by a great server (wish I remembered her name!) who works part-time. Unfortunately, when she's not there, I brace myself for mediocre service. Still, we come to support local businesses, and all we expect in return is consistent, decent service--not a gamble every time we dine. Today was no different than our other bad experiences, whether dine-in or takeout. When we arrived, the bartender--who was behind the bar--told us to seat ourselves. The restaurant wasn't full, two tables occupied along the wall, a group of about 12 in the center, and a few people at the bar. I counted at least five FOH staff. We sat down and waited... no menus, no greeting. After a few minutes, I went up to the bar to grab menus myself. I sat back down, and I tried to catch the attention of any server--anyone--to take our order. But they seemed to go out of their way to avoid us. Still, we stayed hopeful, thinking maybe they were really busy. A few minutes later, a party of four came in and was immediately greeted--with menus and utensils in hand. That was the final straw. Seems like the place to be on a Friday night. The place was packed with many at the bar. It was more lively than most bars at restaurants. I ordered shrimp pasta...almost $30 for 8 shrimp and nearly tasteless Alfredo...very disappointing for the price. The shrimp tasted like it came from a big bag of already cooked frozen shrimp...not fresh...not fresh at all. The complimentary bread it came with was stale, but the fresh whipped butter was amazing! That was the best part of the meal. The staff were really nice, although they looked like they were really busy scrambling to meet the requests of customers. They seemed to handle the pressure really well. The place feels more like a bar than a restaurant, which might be good for some people. I'm not completely writing this place off for their bland expensive pasta. I still have to try their pizza. I used to go here monthly to hear one of the best musicians in the area play which made the trip out to that part of Concord worth it. I would get a table right up front. Each time, I had to put up with a wait time of over an hour to get a medium size pizza because the service was always so slow. I no longer go there after witnessing how poorly the owner and music /event coordinator treated the musician. There is no integrity anymore in dealing with them. Food was amazing! Our group got garlic breadsticks with a marinara dip, probably my favorite thing. I also ordered chicken parmigiana pasta and it was delightful. We also shared a pizza and the rest of my group got different kinds of pasta dishes for themselves. Overall everyone enjoyed. We came on a Saturday, and just missed the live performance since we came for an early dinner at 4 pm, one of the staff said there was a group performing at 6 pm, so might be a good date night if you're into dinner and a show. I think I was at this sports bar/restaurant a long time ago. Parking is not terrible but the strip mall was pretty full of vehicles. We were greeted immediately even though the restaurant was almost half full from the dinner crowd, the bar was pretty much full with various games on the screens. I need to warn that like a typical sports bar it was pretty noisy. The menu was pretty much chicken wings, pizzas and a good selection of pastas. I ordered their rigatoni carbonara, it did not have the requisite peas which is a staple for carbonara but not a standard. The dish was not bad but could have stood a bit more cheese and ground pepper not the pepper shaker stuff. We had to ask for bread which was part of the dish but I thought garlic bread was part of our pasta dishes but we never received it. There was not even a side salad to accompany the pasta. Service was relatively fast but we did have to ask for bread. The wait staff was doing dual roles taking care of the bar and the restaurant portion of this place. Like I alluded earlier the pasta was not bad but since I'm not a pizza or wings fan, that's the choices I'm left with. read more

If it weren't for the service, I would've given this place a solid 5 star review. Let's start with the food - their complimentary bread (like really thick bread sticks) was really good especially when paired with their whipped garlic butter. I couldn't get enough. For the entrée, I got their "fresh homemade pasta" with fettuccine and basilico sauce (sauce with southern olive oil, sun-dried tomatoes, fresh basil, and garlic) and added chicken to my dish. The noodles were nicely cooked with balanced flavors from garlic, basil, and sundried tomatoes. However, I felt like they put a bit too much olive oil, but it wasn't a big deal as I could just not eat the excess oil and leave it on my plate. The chicken was pretty standard but it had nice grilled/charred marks. The inside of the restaurant was nice and clean although not looking overly fancy. The tables and seats were super standard. The service was unfortunately just meh at best. Our waitress didn't come back to offer refills of my water, and she was very difficult to flag. I mean, don't get me wrong, she wasn't just lounging and not doing anything - she was definitely working but I wish she had looked in our direction every now and then to check on us. It was getting to a point where the customers at my neighboring table started to get antsy and raise their hands multiple times to flag her. Longtime Customer Hoping for a Return to That Neighborhood Feel I've been coming to Bambino's for years it's always been our go-to neighborhood pizza spot. The food is still solid, and I'm glad to see it's stayed consistent through the ownership change. That said, I've been in twice since the new owner took over, and I was a little surprised by the change in vibe. The previous owner made it a point to walk around, say hello, and genuinely connect with customers. That kind of personal touch is what made this place feel like home. On both visits under the new ownership, the restaurant wasn't busy, but the new owner stayed in the back and didn't come out to greet anyone. It felt noticeably different like the connection to the community was missing. This is a neighborhood spot, and the people who walk through those doors want to feel seen and appreciated. I hope the new owner reads this and sees the opportunity to carry on that tradition. That small gesture of simply saying hello can go a long way in keeping loyal customers coming back. I don't know I what's going on at Bambinos It was a party of 8 adults. Three Pizzas had been ordered and when my wife and I showed up, our waiter was reluctant in taking our order. He even told us that our order was going to take 45 minutes, which we were OK with since we were with our friends. Our friends got their food (the three Pizzas) and since we were under the impression that our order was going to take a little longer we didn't pay much attention to our order. But as our party was wrapping up their meals, we asked our waiter if our order was on the way. He was so confused of what we were saying like we were speaking a foreign language , and, to top it off he made us feel stupid thinking that we had not ordered a single thing! Later he confessed that our order was never put in and that it would only take "10 minutes to cook". NO THANK YOU!!! To Bambino's management, what are you doing?
