I got a multi-treatment of work from Brad and Steven. Steven is also the owner of this beautiful and legit studio with a team of skilled and unique individuals. I made an apt for a shiatsu & deep tissue massage with Jonathan per the recommendation of the front desk as a Thai massage therapist was not available. Upon arrival on time, I was greeted by very slow, laid back service. While filling out my paperwork my massage therapist chatted with a coworker and continued his conversation after seeing I was done. Once we got into the massage room he asked the normal questions and then proceeded to start a short yoga session to open my back and arms. I was clearly not dressed for that but I did my best. Afterward, he started the massage in which I let him know I like firm pressure. He proceeded with a very lackluster attempt at a massage and then the music turned off AND HE STARTED PLAYING THE FLUTE! I kid you not! He did two circles around me with his passionate flute playing, then informed me the "experience" was done. I looked at my phone and saw that he ended exactly an hour after I arrived at the shop, not after the massage began. I was floored! He then proceeded to give me a sales pitch and remind me how expensive the massages are normally. I felt so uncomfortable I left a $10 tip and left. If I could go back in time, I would have left nothing. To end it all, my back started to twitch and go out on my way home. Needless to say, this was the most awkward waste of money and time.
