Then I headed over to Buck City Sammies and ordered the Bodega sandwich -- and let me tell you, this sandwich does not play around. Wagyu beef grilled and shredded, layered with aged sharp cheddar and American cheese, topped with garlic confit sauce, lettuce, tomato, and red onions on a baguette. The beef was rich and flavorful, the cheese melt was on point, and that garlic confit sauce tied everything together beautifully. Every bite was balanced, hearty, and ridiculously delicious. Around the edges are some cooler shops and restaurants. Parking is a hassle, lanes are too small, be very careful even at the edges of the main lot. I come once in a long while for Whole Foods, and the other day went to Tiki Botanicals, which I had never even noticed here, though we go to the GV location often. I'll be back someday.
