I started seeing Dr. Klein early last year when I was having sciatic symptoms. I saw him three times a week, dropped down to two, and eventually one. Although I eventually needed back surgery for a slipped disc, Dr. Klein took phenomenal care of me. I also saw Dr. Marc and the other Dr. Patel once or twice too! Not only is Dr. Klein knowledgeable and caring, but the rest of the staff are great too. Reception is so friendly and learn your face right away! Also Alex and Lauren in PT are great too. I can't say enough good about BCW. I have been a patient for over 12 years. (Funny story, on my 1st visit Dr. Shave diagnosed my pregnancy before I even knew, lol! He refused to X-ray me until I took a test, and sure enough...) I have seen all 3 doctors, and after a while I found that Dr. Klein is the one for me, but honestly you can't go wrong. They are each wonderful, caring, skilled and pleasant, as is all the office staff. I have several chronic issues (severe arthritis in my neck, scoliosis, a herniated disc, some soft tissue injuries and chronic tension), and I get such instant relief from each treatment - it's like I can feel the blood flow again, I can move again, I can breath again. They use heat therapy & electrical stimulation to loosen the muscles before an adjustment. The staff is welcoming & professional. Appointments are on time. 10/10 :) read more

I have been seeing the Broadway Chiropractic Doctors for over a year now and they are like a family to me. I think I have seen every single chiropractor and they are all wonderful in their own way with their niche talents - be it jokes or conversation during treatment. Not one of them would I even say was just "OK" they are all the BEST. Now, that's just my chiropractic experience. I haven't even gotten to the other services that they offer. Physical therapy is nothing like what I once thought it was. I thought you had to be hurt lifting weights or get in a car accident to go but Dr. Oh has helped me with everything from "my ankle hurts from walking in the city too much" to "I think my neck might need something because I worked 12 hour days this week". Whatever it is, he knows how to fix me up. His treatments vary from stretching to acupuncture. For Kinesiology, there is Dr. Mark. He is multi talented with Chiropractics as well as Kinesiology and after just one treatment made my headache disappear in addition to the adjustment. I can't quite explain this one but all I can say is it WORKS! They also offer deep sports medical massages like none other and I recommend these if you are too locked up for an adjustment from weight lifting or in my case, crossfit. Finally the front desk staff is the friendliest, liveliest I have ever met in a doc's office and they make it an absolute pleasure to sit in a waiting chair. I am hooked! read more

If I could give this place no stars, I would have. I got the Living Social deal for this place-$25 for an hour massage and chiropractic consultation. That should have been my first red flag-way too cheap. I show up there and the office seems like a dr. office-fine. The front desk girl was personable, but when I inquired about my chiropractic consult, she said "only if you really want it." Um, I thought that was part of the deal? So I decided to just forego that portion. My masseuse came in to get me on time at 5pm. She was dressed in plain clothes (a blazer, collared shirt, and jeans I think) which was weird, and lead me to this room that wasn't even in the office. It was in the hallway of the office building. There was nothing calming or even clean looking about this room. There was no window, there was one glade candle lit on a dirty and messy shelf, and the towel that was supposed to cover my behind was the size of a large hand towel. Honestly, this room had to be a closet in former life. She told me to remove my clothes, but keep the door cracked. Well, the alumnium door wasn't just cracked, it stayed a good foot to 2 feet open when i undressed. It was extremely uncomfortable, because I could hear voices of businesspeople walking by! She comes back and starts. Honestly, there is NO WAY this girl was lisenced. I have had many massages in my day and I was totally shocked. She dug like 2 fingers into arbitrary places over the towel to start. Once she rolled the towel down, she rubbed her very rough hands together, put no oil or lotion on, and started going to town on my skin. Honestly, her hands felt like sandpaper. This was far from relaxing. There was no flow, no pattern, I could honestly tell she had no clue what she was doing. After 10 minutes, I feigned sick, got dressed and bolted. It was supposed to last for an hour and I just couldn't do it. My skin was bright red from the friction on my back. Just awful. I called and got my money back from Living Social. This was an unbelievably uncomfortable and shady experience. Be weary of massages that cheap folks. read more

I agree with the previous posted reviews - sketchy. I used the livingsocial coupon, and for $25 bucks for an hour massage, that's a great deal. However, the room was really sketchy, definitely a closet and the door didnt even close all the way because of an ac vent so when I undressed it was awkward because there were people walking about outside. On top of that, the masseuse's pressure was way too hard, I asked her to go a bit lighter but I was actually still in pain the next day from how hard her technique was. On top of that, when I went to get my chiropractic session, they said the doctor had left five minutes prior but they could call him if "you really want it." I said yes, please call him, but he didn't answer the phone. So they said I could schedule another appointment if I wanted - although there wasn't any space for a month. That's really annoying, since I had an appointment, and you knew I was coming. I gave 2 stars because the price was right for what I got. But I wouldn't recommend paying full price, and I honestly wouldn't go back for the discounted price either. read more

Really should of read these reviews before purchasing my LS voucher. I was not impressed by last Thursday's session. Saving grace, it was cheap but it definitely showed. I was able to schedule easy on their online booking system, lots of openings available around end of the year. Coming in, I was greeted by the front desk who took my voucher and directed me to sit and wait. My therapist Andrea came out within 10 minutes and I was seated around 6:10 for a 6pm appointment. Although the voucher was for an hour, she finished by 5 to 7pm, telling me it was over because she had another client. The room was dimly lit and smelled heavily of mint and mildew. I could see exposed pipe (painted white) and the smell really threw me off. The meat of the matter: Definitely not great. Andrea explained everything, but she kept slathering oil on me. The massage was awkward. When asked for more pressure, she dug her elbows in (incredibly painful) and when I asked her to ease off, she spent time rubbing my back, my shoulder. There was no pressure and I felt like she was rubbing a magic 8-ball. Sorry, you're not going to find any truths in my back, no matter how shiny you make it! She spent some time doing a head massage (decent), but the overall experience was awful. Run, do not walk to the exit and don't come back, voucher or not. read more

I visited NYC last week and had horrible pains after I got off the plane. My friend recommended me to go here and luckily an opening popped up. I told the doc what had happened and where it hurt. Few pops here and there, I felt okay, but the massage after made it perfect. I wasn't cured entirely, but the amount of pain that I would have on the rest of my trip would have been awful. I've been going to this office for over 2 years. Dr. Shave and Dr. Klein are the only chiropractors I have ever been to who have been able to move my atlas (top of spinal cord) and stop/prevent me from getting migraines. At first I was going 2-3 times a week for care (back, neck, etc) and it seemed like a lot when I thought about it, but after speaking to people who go to others doctors I found that it was normal. At this point I go once a week and always feel better after leaving. Dr. O, the physical therapist, has helped a lot as well. They offer medical massages and I highly recommend Mark. He's a savior! All of the ladies at the front desk know me by name and are always friendly. My work schedule is crazy (like everyone) and they are flexible and never give you any problems when you have to change appointment times. I've been going to BCW for at least 5 years, on and off. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. I go there mainly for a general tune-up and massage. It's too bad there were so many bad review. All the Doctors I have seen are good as well as the massage therapists. It's a "no frills" kind of place. The massage rooms are like broom closets. It's not a spa. As far as getting copies of your x-rays.....that's really frustrating. You have to use your camera and take a picture of the image on the computer screen. In all fairness, my podiatrist has the same issuers with no being able give you the files. If I need any extensive help with my back I go to a physical therapist. read more

This place is not just a "wellness" center - this place is a GEM. A real magical place. They are so affordable and accommodating if you have insurance (I'm not sure what happens if you don't, and I'm afraid to ever find out because I will be a lifer). I have c-curve scoliosis of my upper spine and contrary to popular belief, it causes me a lot of pain. I am a very active person, I love everything from yoga to HIIT, and my scoliosis hinders me at times due to pain and my body making habit of incorrect alignment during workouts or poses. I do a combination of physical therapy, cupping, acupuncture, and chiropractic visits at BCW and I honestly feel like I'm going to a spa. Actually, it's better than a spa... I come out feeling like a totally new person. My body feels light and agile, flexible and stronger than ever. Consistency really is key. I try to go twice a week during my lunch break - they are very efficient and understanding of your time. I cannot say enough good things about this place. I have been going to Broadway Chiropractic and Wellness for a few years. A regular adjustment or medical message has helped me manage my scoliosis and my leg swelling from sitting at a desk all day. I went for a massage and chiropractic consultation because of a special offer on Living Social. This was the creepiest place I've ever been to! The office is professional enough, but the massage therapist took me to a tiny closet outside the office. The door didn't even close all the way because there was a portable AC in the closet and the hose needed to be situated outside the door. I felt really uncomfortable changing there. The massage was awful. I asked for a woman when I made the appointment and instead a man gave me the massage. He had poor technique, and his arms were really hairy so when he used them to rub up and down my back I felt like I got rug burn. Also, when the face tissue fell on the floor, he picked it up and reused it! I left feeling greasy and gross. The entire place was super unprofessional. The massage therapist was in a tshirt and shorts, the massage was not relaxing and the entire staff was gone when I was done so I couldn't even get my chiropractic consultation. And how could the business do massages in a closet where the door can't close? I will never come back! Definitely wasn't worth the $75 I paid. In fact, this whole experience made me question Living Social...if a business is really legit, why would it need to offer coupons to get customers? read more

I purchased the $25 massage through Tippr in October. I called to book an appointment and they are not open on the weekends and the last appointment they have in the evening on weekdays is 6 pm. This was not advertised on the website when I purchased the voucher.They were booked through April despite the fact that my voucher expires in March (she told me she would honor it past the date....but still). Luckily, I got a refund from Tippr but I would not bother with this place it's unreasonable for people with a job. read more

This review is for the well known $25 deal on living social. If I was giving a review based on the massage alone, I would say it was great and totally worth it. For $25 it was better than expected. The "room" that it takes place in is a bit sketchy, but I'm not too picky. I found it easy to relax. If your looking for something fancy, this is not your place. I did happen to move the curtain after reading reviews below, and it was a storage closet/room. Overall, the guy that did my massage was pleasant and did a good job. I was annoyed with the second half of the deal, the chiropractic part of the deal ("then meet with a doctor who can pinpoint your specific needs for effective treatment."). It was more like, fill out this pointless information, wait for 15 minutes while the chiropractor talks about nothing to the receptionist and then try and sell me an adjustment for $50 after saying hello. If you don't plan on paying, get the heck out of there, because then you just wasted 20 minutes of your life for nothing. All you get from the chiropractor is a "hello" from outside of the room, there is no mention of pinpointing anything. Based on the massage itself, it was a great deal. But I don't like that the chiropractor puts on a deal to get extra business in the door, but doesn't put in any effort once your there. I bought a Groupon for a 1 hour massage and consultation. Basically the massage took place in a janitors closet in the hallway where I could hear the cleaning men hollering at each other, doors slamming, elevators, etc. The massage was supposed to be an hour but the therapist, David, decided to end it after 40 minutes. I was also told I'd have to come back for the consultation since no real chiropractors were working the day I got the massage. I was pretty much horrified and had to take a very long shower to wash the experience off if me when I got home. DO NOT RECOMMEND. read more

So the entire massage was about 35 mins. I had a bad experience during the chiropractic evaluation. I immediately wrote a very negative review of Dr. Shave. He saw my original review and emailed me right away to explain that there was surely a miscommunication. His email was very professional and apologetic and he offered to make it up to me. It sounded to me like he was more interested in checking what my insurance had than actually evaluating my spine. At first he would question what insurance i had, when i told him that i had the non ppo type insurance that does not cover chiropractic services, he basically dismissed me right away. I've been going twice a week for adjustments (which are amazing and I've actually felt Beth's same urge to skip home after leaving) and I just got my first massage from Mark...holy. muscle. magic. He pinpointed every sore muscle and my only complaint is that the massage didn't last forever. So no, there weren't scented candles or birds chirping in the background but (as I not-so-subtly mentioned above) that's what spas are for. It was exactly what my sore back needed. i checked with this place that they accepted my insurance and they assured me it was. i only went 3 times and then they told me i needed to start coming all the time for several months and i decided it was still out of my budget. they pushed to negotiate but i decided to discontinue treatment until i could afford it. when i asked them to send me a copy of my X Rays they forced me to take, they sent them to me in the tiniest low resolution images so they were barely visible... 6 months later i get invoices from my insurance co to the tune of THOUSANDS of dollars from my 3 short visits that the chiropractor had claimed. now I'm fighting the insurance battle. First of all, I do not understand why any doctor's office would hire staff that have absolutely no professionalism or idea about what is expected from the front desk. I came in and they just asked for my name and told me to have a seat. 15 minutes pass and the massage therapist comes out to ask if I was Nina, then proceeds to tell me that she was waiting for me. Well how the hell was she supposed to know that I was there when the chubby cheek twins at the front desk are too busy flirting with another male staff member, the "doctor" and having loud conversations with each other. I heard and saw one of the chubby cheek twins ask the "doctor" if he wanted to have a consult, that I had a living social deal (incorrect, it was Groupon). Now why the hell would a doctor have a choice on whether to see me or not, the consultation and digital poster analysis is part of the Groupon! The massage therapist did the massage which was very good I must say. She then led me to the front desk for the consultation. One of the chubby cheek twins told me that I would have to make an appointment for the consultation, that they were done for the day. If they knew that they were going to be "done for the day", why did they not do the consultation first and then the massage? That would make sense. All in all, this place is a SCAM!!! You buy a deal (Groupon, Living Social, etc.) for a massage, consultation with chiropractor and digital posture analysis, make an appointment and then don't get all of the services you are supposed to get. Who has time to go to the same place to keep redeeming part of a deal,? you're supposed to get everything on the same day. I have been a patient at Broadway Chiropractic for two years now (found them through Living Social) and I am very happy to say my experience has been excellent. Jenny, Janet, Cindy, and Alyssa at the front desk are always so welcoming and accommodating and I'm always greeted with a smile. I started going in three times a week for neck pain and now I am currently going once a week for preventative care. What is also so great about this place is that they are a full service wellness center. If I'm in a lot of pain or need some extra work done (Im a very active runner), I can get a massage,(highly recommend Marc and Barbara) physical therapy, acupuncture, etc. for all very reasonable prices and it is a convenient location in midtown. I mostly get adjustments with Dr. Klein but all of the chiropractors know me and I feel comfortable getting adjustments with other doctors in the office. Dr. Klein will spend extra time with me going over some exercises or stretches to help. There have been many benefits for me going to a chiropractor, besides the fact my neck is better than it was, I have noticed that my spring allergies are GONE when I go to the chiropractor.
