They have now moved me three times. The most recent move was into my new house. It was during a torrential rain storm but that didn't slow them down. They still moved everything without any issues and they didn't even make a mess. The guys were polite and helpful and before they left they made sure everything was exactly where I wanted. The head mover then inspected everything for damage including my walls but there was none to be found. They had my furniture in storage for a month but since they wrapped everything it all remained clean and smell free. The movers also handled the move of the people out of the house we bought a I had recommended them during the inspection. They said at the closing the movers were very helpful and they told their agent they would recommend them to his other clients. I trust them enough that I referred them to my boss. They are moving her parents in a few weeks. Moving always depends on the crew and the management and they both seemed like they wanted to make sure I was completely satisfied. I can't say enough good things about them. If I ever move again they will be my first call. read more

I used Broadway Movers last November and was extremely satisfied. They took care with all my things and were efficient and professional. I hired them to move me again on Monday, what a huge disappointment this experience was so totally the opposite uncaring and unprofessional. We were moving the same things and same way. Truck was too small for my things, too tall for the storage unit to get in, no care with my things. One of the movers was not anyone I would want touching my things he made comments on everything I owned. I wrote a letter and called and the company doesn't seem to care. My move was recently completed on 17JUN2017 from Yardley, PA to SC. It went very smoothly and I have no complaints against Atlas. In fact, the Atlas truck driver Dennis took the time to bring down a waylaid chair that ended up in Atlanta in his personal vehicle just this week. HOWEVER, Broadway movers (Agent Dan Newbon) exhibited deceptive business practice and a total lack of response when it was needed most. I had Dan come to my house 2 times. Once before we tossed many things and once after the toss. The final estimated weight was 10,500 lbs. When fully loaded the weight was 14,000 lbs! I received the COD on Friday 16JUN less than 12 hours before the ATLAS driver was scheduled to arrive at the delivery location. I immediately called Dan and asked him how the estimate could be so off and I wasn't expecting the additional costs. Also a "not to exceed" clause was never offered to me. He said he'd get back to me on the 16th and never did. He was also unresponsive to calls on the 17th when the truck arrived. I got 3 estimates to complete the move. I feel he way underestimated to get the business and this was highly unethical and deceptive. I feel "taken". ATLAS was unsympathetic to my problem and had no resolution except to say they were "sorry i didn't understand a non-binding agreement". Dan Newbon and his "25 years of experience" need to be reprimanded so this does not happen to others. read more

Terrible no stars!!! I had used Broadway two years earlier and was satisfied. When I arranged a second move recently, I was hugely disappointed. They never sent an estimator, so I only listed the largest items over the phone, but explained that it was a first story 1 bedroom apartment. Two guys showed up, they arrived an hour and a half late, looked at the move, which was already packed, and said that it was more than their work order (which only had the large pieces I had given over the phone). They complained about about the stairs up to the house, saying that it wasn't a first floor, and made comments about how much stuff needed to be moved and that they needed to wait for a third man, who wouldn't be there for a while. My daughters friend, who helped her pack, got mad and said they were movers, and to just get started. They got angry and drove off. I called the office and they said we insulted them, but it was clear they didn't want to do the move. Lousy work ethic, and awful customer relations, I could never recommend them. read more

While the movers were pleasant, efficient, and courteous DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT use this company. If anything goes wrong, it will take an act of god to get it resolved. The office staff is rude, hostile and unhelpful. Phone calls and emails go unreturned. I moved in early September and only today (1 1/2 months later) did I get someone to come out and help. And this was only after I left a message for the owner who didn't have the decency to call back himself but rather farm it out to anther person. Should I ever have to move again, I would rather move myself than have this company provide services read more

Our move went okay but definitely could have been much better. The packers and movers were very nice and knowledgeable and they arrived on time every day. They took extra care to be sure items were packed properly and, even though we had A LOT to move they worked hard to be sure that all of the boxes made it to our new location. I do have several negative comments. One is that we had two large area rugs that they did not touch. They were too large for us to move ourselves so we ended up having to dispose of them. Two is that there were two large closets that they did not pack and they did not even mention it to us until they were loading the last items on the truck. We were left to move them ourselves. Three is that as we unpack, we are finding more that is wrong. For example, many boxes were placed in the incorrect room even though they were labeled and rooms with which they were specifically asked to take special care are missing important items. The bottom line is I would recommend them for a small, uncomplicated move and even then, I would caution anyone who uses them to check and doublecheck the work that they have done to ensure that everything is packed and moved according to the agreed upon plan. read more

WORST MOVING COMPANY EVER. So many complaints I don't even know where to begin. We used them just to move houses across town. First they treat your stuff like crap. While watching them pack up the boxes, I noticed several people man handling them and just throwing them around. They also left a lot of damage in the house that we left. Now at our new location, while unpacking, a lot of our boxes looked like they were just demolished. Including boxes marked "FRAGILE" which contained our expensive electronics. Our furniture is also damaged, and half the furniture they re assembled wasn't even put back together correctly. They also sent my mother out to buy them water while they were working. I get it, it's hot out and you need to stay hydrated, but you should know this coming in and bring your own water. I have no problem offering water that I may have, but when moving into a new house we had no water or anything to offer and I can't believe they asked her to go out and buy them some while she is not only monitoring the movers but also dealing with other people working on the house, like the cable man. And again so much damage around the house. Now I understand nothing is going to be perfect and damage is to be expected. They even sent people out to repair the damage. But they didn't even finish with the repairs. Not to mention one guy wasn't even working, he was sleeping and SNORING so loud disturbing the rest of the house. If you value your personal possessions I encourage you to seek another company who will also value them. read more
