So I'm visiting my 75 year old mother, who had just spent her entire day at the Dr. When we got home, she wanted to order food. I call B-Way pizza and order two beef patties with cheese, one chicken parm & one shrimp parm. The delivery guy is late but nice. I tip him, he goes about his way, no problem. So my mom ate her meal 1st, as I wanted to eat my patty and then go for my shrimp parm later. When I open my food....it's chicken, not shrimp! I'm a little salty because it took so long, and I'm not a fan of the chicken. I call them up and they start with the B.S right away. Although the girl that answered the phone was nice, she was still over questioning me. I tried to tell her to look at the receipt and the initial order. She preceeded to go back and forth, then my mom took the phone and asked to speak to the manager. I can hear this rude prick-hole questioning my 75 year old, sick mom about the time we ordred, why were we just calling now, etc, etc. I decide that I just want the money for the one meal since she already ate her's. They start talking about store credit, and I say enough is enough and go down there. This idiot owner takes the bag from me, goes in the back ( To make sure I'm not scamming him ), then comes out briskly and says, "I'm gonna give you the 15 bucks, but my guy says there was a shrimp parm in there" and he gives me a look. I try to reason with him and explain the situation, he continues to be a dick and pretend like he's annoyed with me, and also like somehow we were scamming him! At this point I thought of smacking him, but decided to take my business elsewhere instead. Now two things real quick lol. one, I usually eat at Aturo's on 225th, I thought that's where she was ordering from. I promise you, that place has the biggest and best slices in the Bronx. Not only that but they are super cool and always ask about my mom. Trust me, go to Aturo's instead of Bway pizza. The decor may not be the newest but the pizza is 100% worth it.......Trust! Lastly. When I got home, I had the $hits from the Beef patty I ate from B-Way Pizza. I know this because it was all I ate for the entire day. Which brings me to the last point....seriously. Like I said, I really wanted to smack the owner because he was being an asshole and accusing me of doing something wrong when it was entirely his fault. He made me walk all the way down there, when he could have fixed the situation from his end. if I Had I hit him, I would have wound up in a jail cell with the Shits. So, moral of the story kids. Be an adult, and just go where you're treated right! All true, nothing personal! read more

This place has horrible customer service. I had place an order for delivery and after waiting patiently for over an hour, I called to check on the delay. The lady insured me that the food was on route and that it should be there any minute so I waited. A few minutes after we hung she called back to inform me that the food was brought back because "no one answered the door". Meanwhile no one called and/or rang the door bell ... So I told her to just cancel the order and to place the money back on my card. She insisted on sending the food back out with an attitude and since I refused she replied with sarcastic remarks. A little neighborhood spot near the subway that serves an ok slice with friendly service. There are 6 tables that seat 4 and an island in the center where you can grab napkins & condiments. My slice had a nice thick crunchy crust, but there was an odd aftertaste either in the sauce or the cheese. Wow, what a deal. NOT. Why not just be honest? If they wanted to bait and switch then good job. If they were trying to make me feel like an idiot then well done. If not they just lost a local customer that gave them a second chance. Their pizza sucks also. Its way too thin and dry, and is usually over cooked, REHEATED all day. Only ordered once for delivery. Can't speak for the pizza but we ordered two pasta dishes and they were really good. Two pasta dishes that each came with garlic bread for just over $20 with tax/tip. It ended up being enough food for two meals for each of us! Four meals for about $20... a great deal. We ordered on a busy night so it took a bit of time to deliver but was hot and fresh when it arrived. Can't speak for the restaurant itself since we did delivery, but we're looking forward to trying more food from them. read more

The pizza is amazing. The crut isn't too thick and isn't too thin. The zitti special is my favorite. It's a slice of pizza, a bowl of zitti and a drink. Not only was the lady who took my order rude. But she didnt let me add to my order 3 mins after I called. 45 mins to an hour delivery wait when the destination was no less than 2 blocks away. I was unable to give the delivery guy a tip via credit card because it was disabled due to in house credit card scammers. (Nice and understandable delivery guy) The pizza was warm and bland. From all the places i have been to from around here, I have to say that this pizza is the best. My favorite is the garlic knots with cheese on top!
