This has been our go to place for years and we love it. If its not the only place we go it is the last place we go for the night. Food has always been good no matter what you order, and service is good. Can be a little slow once in a while when busy but when busy what do you expect? Friday seems the busiest between 8-10 you can hardly ever find an open seat but after 10 it clears out a bit and can always find a place. This is also one of our normal stops for lunch on Sat-Sun afternoon after a long Harley ride, it's pretty quiet around that time and service is really fast. Also a good place to watch football or other sports, has screens at every viewing angle. I would have never gone to this place if not for a friend telling me how good the clam chowder was. Well the chowder is great but so is everything else I have tried! I am a huge fan of any sort of dip sandwich and the prime rib dip, or any other kind of dip sandwich here is really great! Also have had the prime rib dinner on the special nights they do it and it is really good, enough for 2 people. The meatloaf really kicks butt as well! Straightforward bar and grill food. Very good ribeye at a decent price. Green beans were especially good, but baked potato a little small. Broadway is a fantastic establishment. My partner and I get in there at least once a week for our typical after work beverage and late night meal. While the food and drinks are great and priced fairly, it is Sunny that keeps us coming back! She is always present and even if she cannot make it to a patron right away she makes it known that she sees you and will get to you as soon as possible. She always wears a smile and has a friendly joke or story to share. Honestly, the best part of the establishment is her!!!! One of my favorite places to visit for their Friday Prime Rib dinner. I always choose the great Clam Chowder instead of the salad. Waitresses and bartenders are very friendly, lots of televisions for all the sports you want to watch along with a jukebox that's playing all the time. Parking can be a problem if you do not know how to parallel park, but it is free. If you come before 6 pm, their Happy Hour food selection is very reasonably priced. read more

The bartenders and wait staff are awesome. They are friendly, helpful, and I really like them. I love the old church pews used for seating. The food has not been good last year. Twice I've ordered a sandwich with toasted bread and the bread was as hard as a hard crouton and it was missing items. If the bread choice is stale the kitchen should just say that it's out. Best beef dip! They get their bread delivered fresh everyday from the Beaverton bakery across the street. My husband had the burger and it was on the same delicious bread, crispy fresh condiments, seasoned, cooked and sauced to perfection. Our first time here will definitely come back. I have been coming to The Broadway Saloon off an on for a couple years now and I have to say that for the most part I think it's fantastic. The food is solid. Its by no means gourmet but what they do make (burgers, wings and soups) the make very well - particularly the soups and burgers. The clam chowder and cream of mushroom are scratch made and are perfect on a chilly PNW day or night. My one complaint is the experience I have had with the bartender on Monday and Tuesday nights, Sonny (?). One Monday in particular I was in and four of the five times myself or someone in my group went to the bar to order a round she was nowhere to be found. Finally after waiting for over five minutes she came in from outside (I later found out from a regular that she routinely does this when she goes outside to smoke). I was shocked that she so brazenly left the bar completely unattended, as she was the only employee aside from a cook. Obviously while she was gone a seemingly small group of people had accumulated all wanting to order. While placing my order with her, a draft beer, she snapped at me and declared "Hold on, I'm busy!". The group of four or so people waiting for her to finish her smoke break was obviously too much for her to handle. I like this place and I want to see it continue to survive in Downtown Beaverton - It's important for local businesses to succeed. I just hope the decision to hire and trust someone so careless and unpleasant as this young lady doesn't signal the beginning of the end for this charming little historic spot. read more

OK...so this tears me up because I have all sorts of cool "back in the day" memories about Broadway Saloon, but I just can't give them more than three stars. Why? Well, let's just say that the food saved the day because the drinks were just horrid and I never... ever... EVER... thought there was such a thing as a "bad drink" until now. I ordered a Bloody Mary - perfect for a sunny Saturday afternoon around brunch 'thirty - and it came in a teeny tiny glass (who doesn't serve a Bloody Mary made with a "homemade" mix in a pint glass now a days) that had so little mix, it was like vodka on the rocks with pepper in it....cheap house vodka, I might add. Ewww! The hubs went hardcore and had a long island...equally pungent. I suppose if you are into that sort of thing, this would thrill, however we don't believe in alcohol abuse and chose to choke them down in spite of the fact that they were horrid. Our lunch was pretty great tho - hubs had steak which was more done than I personally like, but very tender, smokey and flavourable. I had a roast beef with horseradish sammich and potato salad. The sandwich did not come with tomato as advertised but the bread was buttery goodness and the horseradish spread - although not horsey enough - was still yummy and the tater salad was excellent! Neil K, you are not alone. While this was not our first time here, it may be our last. In the past year, our recent move to area, we will not be making this our go to pub any longer. We have been in sereral times, had groups joins us and taken out of area guest here. In the past year we have enjoyed the wings and serval burgers, my favorite now, no longer on the menu, unless toppings added at an extra cost, which may be a bit excessive when the burgers the last two times have been soooo dry you could blow a bust cloud. The bar staff does not appear to be the problem with a nod most of the time you receive your "regular " without being a daily customer, but what disappointing meal after a extremely long wait from the kitchen. read more

Fucking horrible. Waited fifteen min to order and fourty min for food. On top of the fact that the bar maid seemed annoyed we dare ask for a menu or even speak to her. Wont be going back ever, I'll be warning people of this place as well. When I finally did get my food it was horrible I'm not sure how a burger patty can taste like its made out of salt but this one did. If you have a choice Dairy Queen up the street makes a better burger in a shorter amount of time. read more

We've been coming here for years and it's practically turned into the only bar we go to because the service is so great. Everyone that works there is super friendly and once they get to know you, you don't even need to order your drinks, they'll just bring them straight to your table. They take extra special care of regulars, of which this place has a lot (for good reason). On top of the friendly atmosphere, the food is also very good and the happy hour is fantastic.
