All, I want to share a little bit about what's going on with Broadway. Yelp will undoubtedly pull this message but for now I think it's important to let everyone know a few things about us :)- first of all. Thank you for your business and your reviews. Your feedback is important and we use it to get better. Your business and Yelp keep our employees employed through cash tips and through the need to offer better service as the business grows. I try and answer each review with a personal message. Sometimes I don't get to it right away but typically it gets done within a month. Carla has been very busy remodeling on a budget. We are putting dollars back into the business in the way of a new Hvac, changing the decor, new bar equipment, some new kitchen equipment, re-finishing the floor and doing some changes that may not agree with customers at the time, but that keep people interested and coming back and sometimes are needed because the city requires them. Keep in mind she is not done. This is always a work in process :)- We are striving to keep Broadway unique while maintaining great customer service and creating an atmosphere that is inviting and the food quality great! We also try to mix things up by allowing our kitchen to create new dishes like our new chicken jalapeño soup Some updates are driven by government regulations. For example the health department, (who gave us a 100 on our last review) would love to see us update our kitchen floors and the city would love to see handicapped accessible bathrooms. Others we do because customers are at risk like the old buddy bars that were constantly falling apart and customers had hurt themselves by impaling themselves on a missing padded seat or stepping down off the visible ledge after a couple drinks. When we hear and see things that need to be done, we focus on them and fix them. Not always as fast as you or we would like but they do get done. For example we are aware of the shakiness of the new Buddy bars and they will be fixed :)- Because of the budget we can't do everything at once and occasionally we make changes based on local business availability of products, usually we aren't doing this because of cost, but because of recommendations from our vendors and/or our customers. We want to win your business and if you aren't satisfied with something we hope you will let us know. Not through a review, but through personal interaction/direct communication. We are always open to this. We may not make a change right away, but we do listen and work to make things better. We love our employees and Another thing we are currently doing is we are getting ahead of the minimum wage laws. In fact this month we have raised all employees wage across the board. No one makes minimum wage as of March 1st. We agree that everyone should make a good wage. We hope to continue this as a business practice for all employees. We are able to do this because of your business and the growth we are seeing. We love meeting new customers and creating new regulars and all these things together hopefully make Broadway a place our employees and all our customers can be proud to be part of. We are proud that we have a place that gives about 25 head of households an income to help their families survive and hopefully thrive. My gf and I were looking to get a steak or at the very least a French Dip the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Checked Yelp and a couple others and decided to try the Broadway Saloon for the first time. We found on street parking right in front of the door, bar was about half full, with all TVs having one game or another on. we found a table out of view of the bar and sat down. The waitress was fairly prompt getting us menus and taking our drink order. in reviewing the menu we saw there were a couple options for French Dip, the Broadway Dip being $9 and change and made from prime rib. I perused the menu and discovered they had a $10 Broadway Steak and Fries. the waitress informed us that it was a tri-tip, not a cut that I was familiar with, but for $10 decided to give it a shot. We were very pleasantly surprised! the steak was excellent, cooked to the exact rarity i requested and tender and flavorful. the dip looked like a Philly cheese steak minus the onions and peppers and was just as delicious. The total bill was about $40 for 2 people and drinks including a 20% tip, which is far less than I would have paid for a similar steak dinner anywhere else that I have been. All in all we will be back there, service was excellent, food was excellent, highly recommended to several family and friends already. The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is that we haven't been there a second time and I would like to make sure it carries through before upping the praise. read more

My husband and I love this joint. Great good good people working there. The downside is it's small and they took the Fettuccine Alfredo off the menu, and it was amazing!!! Most recently we went in there and I ordered nachos with no meat, because I am veg and have been for a few years. The nachos come out and they don't look great, first thing I have seen here that didn't look great. They also had meat on them, sad face. We told our server and she was so amazing about it. She even said she we would get me anything else I wanted off the menu because she didn't think the nachos had enough cheese. I did get something else and it came out wonderful. The server also took care of one of my drinks for all the trouble. Even though there was a mistake they did more than take care of it and that's really all I care about. People make mistakes all the time, it's what they do to correct them that has a bigger impact. read more

I've been going to Broadway Saloon for quite some time. I was happy to finally get back into the Saloon after being locked up for almost three months! Not surprisingly, they did a wonderful job of making sure to clean and disinfect tables and chairs after each customer. I'm shocked to read a review about them not cleaning and disinfecting after each customer as that certainly wasn't the case when I was there! This is a great neighborhood bar with great food and fun staff! read more

This place is awesome the owners are really great and friendly love their community and help with tons of things arround their area. Their prices are great for the quality food served to you and is matched exceptionally with the excellent and. friendly service provided by the happy and helpful staff especially the wonderful bartender Kim who served me. They managed to get my original review removed, although there was nothing wrong with it, but I heard yelp will do that for a price. Anyway, this place sucks. Everything about it is terrible, especially the guy who runs the place and then cries to yelp when people don't like his lame ass bar. read more

The blonde old waitress was racist and refused to serve us food or drinks. We were completely sober, we were hungry and celebrating our friends going away party. She is a disaster. Fire her immediately. People came up to us apologizing for her racist behavior. read more

I am a fan of steak and this place has mastered the art of serving it! It has reasonable prices and great atmosphere. LOVE IT!!! Definitely getting my weekly "steak" fix at this establishment. read more
