I finally had an opportunity to visit with my KIwanis club for a lunch. Nothing too fancy but I'm finally coming here. This shop is located right on Main Street with plenty of parking I got a very close spot. This is beautiful shop with a very focused staff. Our lunch group was sitting in a smaller side area by a window which gave us a lot of light and definitely brightened the mood. We had our own special price fix lunch menu so it was not an experience where we would get a chnace to sample different foods. I had the Turkey Burger special which which came with a loaded burger and fries. Simple and very tasty, cooked according to my instructions. It wasn't busy at all when we arrived so we had our choice of seats which was nice. The menu was more extensive than I expected. There's a selection of apps, sandwiches, salads, pizzas, soups, fajitas, and burgers - with several sections having a "make your own" option. I decided to go with a sandwich - specifically, the chicken pesto was speaking to me. This was grilled chicken with mozz, pesto sauce, and roasted red peppers on a roll. The sandwich was good - flavorful with all the components marrying well together. The bread was also soft enough that it broke through my bites; I was concerned being a hard roll that it would be too tough, but the consistency was perfect. I opted for tots instead of fries on the side which were good as well. Service was good - our server was friendly and food came out at a good pace. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised with the Barefoot Peddler. The food was tasty, and I wouldn't hesitate to return if I'm in the area again.

I wasn't overly impressed with the karaoke scene compared to others I've been to. The bar itself was okay. They don't serve food but they will put out a plate of snacks for you and the bartender we dealt with that night was very generous in refilling the snacks for my two friends. They will also allow you to order food in which is nice. Overall it's an okay scene it just wasn't lively enough for my liking. Maybe I went on an off night.
