The restaurant entrance with dedicated covered parking is a nice touch

Our first try at the new Brodeur's now in Langley after sadly closing their Abbotsford location a few months ago. Brodeur's has their own dedicated underground parking now which is nice. The space is brand new and nicely decorated, although we question the carpeting as the flooring choice long term. We were quickly seated in what was a relatively empty space, although it was 1:30 in the afternoon. We did find for how empty it was that the service was fairly slow throughout our lunch. Quick service and it's a 5 star experience as the food certainly did not let the place down. I had the Grande Montreal smoked meat while the lovely K had the Reuben. Both were generous in their portions and sides which we had come to expect from the Abbey location. We took half of our meals home and made a brilliant hash and eggs for breakfast the following morning. We are certainly happy to have this establishment closer to home, and we will most certainly be back again!

We stopped by for lunch over the weekend. Service was great. Menu selection was excellent. We tried a few items and were quite pleased at the quality and taste. Fries were crispy and pipping hot. Wings were flavourful. Bayou shrimp had a good spicy kick. My husband enjoyed his sandwiches and creamy mac n' cheese. Definitely, we will be back to try other items in their menu.

Excellent food and service. Chloe was very attentive. We enjoyed the beef dip, cheese steak, cordon blue, ribs and jambalaya. The full rack of ribs was an impressive sight. We were a party of six with seniors that are hard of hearing and they sat us in an excellent quieter area, near the underground parking/exit door. We were able to talk and hear each other which is lacking at a lot of restaurants these days. It was a nice evening out and we shared the beignets to cap the birthday dinner.

This place is going downhill already....sad really as we moved to Langley in September of 2024 and were excited to see them in our neighborhood, went to have dinner with my son and his girlfriend, my appetizer fish tacos ($20 for two) were a joke, two tiny little squares of fish in which I had to dig for amongst all the slaw and took forever to get.....my guests were almost finished with their dinner before I got mine and the service was terrible, young man looked as if he was a chicken with his head cut off.....terrible, will never go back! I won't go on any further as I could probably write a book at this point!

I loved the crispy exterior with the sea salt on top, and the inside was so pillowy and buttery - then topped with the blue cheese butter... yum! So good. For my entree, I ordered the truffle tenderloin steak and my dining partner had the ahi tuna. We also added the Brussels sprouts and Brie mashed potatoes to share. A really cool feature is they bring over a selection of steak knives that you can choose from. I really love this concept and whoever thought that up is a genius. I chose a gorgeous, elegant-looking knife with a handle that looked like mother of pearl. The steak was easily one of the best steaks I've ever had. They shave black truffle directly on the steak when it's served, which adds such a nice richness. The sauce is also one of the better sauces I've had on a steak. It was so tempting to want to lick the plate! It was a cooked to a perfect medium rare and so tender. It's been a long time since I was really blown away by a great steak, but this just hit the mark in every way. The Brussels sprouts were great, but there was something in the dish that was a bit odd - almost like wasabi or something. It wasn't bad, it just had a kick that I wasn't expecting and made me cough a little bit. The potatoes were creamy and buttery but I did think the Brie flavour wasn't coming through enough. Maybe because all the other flavours on my plate were pretty strong. I didn't try the tuna but it looked beautiful and apparently tasted just as good. We finished off with a couple of desserts: the beehive pavlova and the crème brûlée, the latter being my typical go-to dessert. Unfortunately, I didn't really care for the salted caramel flavour here, but can't really put my finger on what exactly I didn't enjoy as I normally love salted caramel. One bite was enough for me. It looked amazing, though. I did enjoy the pavlova, but it wasn't a traditional style as it had ice cream inside instead of whipped cream. It was more like a baked Alaska without the flame. The flavours were good on this dessert, but I probably wouldn't order it again as I was really craving the more traditional pavlova. Service was good, but we did wait quite a long time after being seated before placing our order, and then waited again after dessert before getting our bill. We weren't in a hurry, but I think we were there for over 3 hours. Still a very enjoyable meal and I would definitely return for the steak alone.

The total came out to be $43.50 plus tip. Fries were plentiful. The restaurant is nice and clean (although I did send my water back due to some dirt or dust in it). The wine list on "copier paper" was wrinkled with food stain on it. That was ghetto considering this calibre of restaurant One cool feature is that you can adjust the lighting at the table by pushing a button on the lamp. Parking is free. Google Maps takes you to parking lot. You may think it's wrong but it's right. Just park and go to east side of building. You'll find door there. Opposite side of building has resto called Camp Beer The service was good, and the atmosphere was lively with a nice crowd. Besides the food, I think it might be a great spot to hang out at the bar for drinks. There was a crowd starting to form at bar. I do encourage others to support this buisness vs the chain resto's of a similar calibre

We got a reservation a day before and there were plenty of spots available. They had a big drinks menu and quiet a few food options as well. Best part was that they had lots of veggie options! Here's what we got: Drinks - :: Zero-proof pineapple fizz - it def looked as good as it tasted. Very refreshing and fruity! Really enjoyed it. :: Guava aperol margarita - delicious! I could taste the guava and the spice on the rim of the glass was perfectly paired with the drink Food - :: Parmesan plenta fries - was so excited to try it, I wasn't sure what to expect. The presentation was amazing, just wish they were a big more crispy but the dipping sauce it came with was really good :: Burrata Bucatini - calabrian chili vodka cream sauce, pancetta, burrata, ricotta, thai basil, grano padano 3/5 :: Brick half chicken - pretty good! I would give it a 4/5 it was really creamy and the chicken was cooked well but I don't think it was seasoned that well. I would say for the portion size and the food, it was a bit overpriced but definitely 5/5 for the ambiance!

The chairs are falling apart and too low for the table you're sitting at, the windows are greasy. It's just crazy. The whole restaurant seems to have gone downhill. The only thing that was great was the chef himself. He was polite and very talented. $150.00 was spent & all we could think of is we could've had a really good meal somewhere else.

The whole experience lasted less than an hour before our bill was presented for $120 not including tip. We were never asked if we wanted another drink or how the meal was. This time we were seated in a cozy corner of the restaurant and was nice to be able to have a conversation. We started off with the crab cakes as an app and then i got the ravioli with scallops and my friend got the steak meal. I really liked my pasta minus the the scallops that were cold. I really appreciated how attentive the server was and offered to get fresh new ones - given how hungry I was I didn't fuss over it (because i didn't want to wait) but she ended up having it taken off the bill which was much appreciated. I learnt something new about the wine - it's made to be shook before being drank and it completely changes the flavour of the wine (in a good way) As last time - great experience and service! Really hoping for a location to come to Toronto.
