Awesome little place in Milford. We happened to drive by the faded sign and saw the neon Open sign on. Friendly service and great food.

It does take quite some time to make so if you're able to then I would order ahead. This was a food stand in Filmore Utah, they have a sink if u need to wash your hands and a cute photo stand. The man was so sweet and patient. All our food also came with a few pieces of candy. Now for the food, I don't usually like beans, but these were so good. I loved it, ate every last piece. It was amazing. Must try so I would get a combo, it's worth it. Got the Quesabirria and this was a little messy to eat but so worth it. This was not really spicy for me, but the worker gave us like 10 hot sauces so it was all cool. The Tacos Combo and Crispy Tacos were also good, the crisp does very much satisfy. The burrito was quite large, it was filled to the brim thing was absolutely packed. My favorite was definitely the Quesabirria though, it was just full of flavor and everything tied together so well. If you get a chance, stop by here!!

Beans are a little odd (watery, odd texture) but the taste is good. The rice, which I normally leave, was excellent. I had the 3 hard taco plate, one chicken, two beef. Very good. The only complaint was the bottom of the shells were filled with potato so they can save $$$ on the meat. It was very good but be honest about it. Hubs had the chicken enchilada plate and a pork taco, also very good. The salsa on the enchiladas was amazing. Some rickety chairs are provided under a not so shady tree so plan to eat in the car or find a park with some shade.

The food truck is set right in the middle of the cabins that the owners also run, and the whole setup has a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. There are two small patio areas where you can sit outside, rest after hiking, and enjoy the mountain air while eating something fresh and comforting. Sandra herself was an absolute pleasure to talk to. She shared parts of her story with me, a story of immigration, resilience, hard work, and success that genuinely warmed my heart. You can feel that this business was built with determination, hope, and a lot of love behind it. The food was excellent. We ordered chips and salsa, pork street tacos, and a chicken salad, and everything tasted fresh and homemade, care came through in every bite. Simple, authentic, sincere food done really well. After days of standard road-trip meals, this felt refreshing and personal in the best way. Overall, if you are in Baker after hiking or exploring Great Basin National Park, this is absolutely worth stopping for. Good food, kind people, and the kind of small business story that reminds you why local places matter.

MY GOD the new crew is absolutely amazing! Especially the afternoon crew. There's this girl with i think braces and glasses; ABSOLUTE angel and because of her service I'm always tipping. She's like the Valerie's soul of the restaurant. I kid you not. She knows all her regulars order and is always serving with a smile. Also when she's working with whom I assume is her regular staff, you can always count on the condiment tables to be stocked, til it gets around the evening time. The ambiance of the restaurant is pretty simple, nothing to extravagant, but it is welcoming nonetheless. The food? I mainly come here for the Menudo (the girl who I was just talking about will immediately know who I am LoL) but yes, the menudo. My homegirl told me about menudo, and now Valerie's is my plug for that. It's flavored to my liking, which I deeply appreciate. Do understand that sometimes you may get more bones and cartilage than the cow honeycomb tripe. So ask if you could not get that bones and stuff? I haven't, but I don't think it'll hurt to ask. I like the crew that makes my menudo, so I accept it no matter what I get. If you are drunk off your behind, then baby, come on down to Valerie's for some pretty okay food. I'm not a huge fan of tacos and such, but they're menudo is *chefs kiss* in my opinion. So I can only give my opinion on that. As well as the service. Don't forget to tip them! If a cashier remembers my order off the bat, that means 1, I'm a big back, 2, they are that versed in knowing what I want, and 3, I'm a big back. K bye!

The nachos were fine, but the chips seemed a little stale, like they had lived a full life before meeting the cheese. Not terrible, just not the star of the show. Then came the pulled pork, which was really good and absolutely saved the day. Flavorful, tender, and clearly putting in more effort than the chips. Service was fine, vibes were casual, and I would come back for the pulled pork alone. Just maybe not for the nachos next time.

The restaurant itself, a little cramped but that's to expected when sharing space with other businesses in a spot like that. Now for the food, husband had a carne asada quesadilla, I had a carne aside supreme burrito. Flavor was there but the meat quality was awful, mine had a lot of the tendon/fatty pieces that were not edible. The salsas on the other hand, were delightful, red one was creamy with a good amount of heat. The green sauce had that nice garlicky flavor while still being mild. The bad: That meat quality threw all the vibes off, and HOLY PRICEY, what did we expect...it's Brianhead.
