    Carne Asada Street Tacos
    Aleisia D.

We stopped here on our way to Colorado and had lunch here. It was very good! I highly recommend that if your craving a taco come here! I had 2 Carne Asada street tacos and the meat was very tasty and had great flavor! My other 1/2 had the Carne Asada plate and it was just as good Their green sauce was amazing. If you're craving some Mexican food I highly recommend this restaurant!

They deserve 5 Stars! Everything is fantastic! This is our go to Taco Shop and I can't wait for them to open the Richfield location. Muchas Gracias Playa Azul Familia!

We stopped by for lunch. Really enjoyed the bean, rice, and cheese burrito as well as chicken tacos. Guacamole had chunks of avocado and the salsa bar was legit. Highly recommend.

What do you do when your passing through a small town, after road tripping with your family, and are on the verge of starvation and brimming with anxiety, needing to desperately stretch your legs? You go to yelp. Why? Because it's never failed you. A simple Apple Maps search: "Food." I look at the options, see 5 stars, and immediately hit GO on the route. I see the menu, and immediately know the safest and most reliable option in a small town that sounds like the word "saliva" is street tacos. Playa Azul ...... don't change a thing. The tacos were exactly what I needed. Juicy, a bit of spice, cilantro.... Some might consider them a perfect street taco. Honorable mentions: crispy tacos - the perfect crunch and take on a classic taco. California burrito - who doesn't love a French fry wrapped in a tortilla? Within 20 minutes, we were back on the road, left dreaming about and salivating at the thought of Playa Azul. Salina, I would say we'll be back, but tbh who the hell drives through Salina. If we are though, we'll make the stop at Playa Azul.

    3 Carne Asada Street Tacos

After reading Morgan's delightful review, we knew we'd found our lunch spot! Extensive menu, and they serve breakfast all day - which means I got to order my favorite Chorizo Breakfast Burrito! Yummm! Hubby loved his Carne Asada Street Tacos - chock full of tender meat. Very fast service, and excellent food.

4 tacos of asada and one lengua(cow tongue)

Honestly didn't expect Honestly didn't expect to find some good legit Mexican food out here but damn am I glad to have stopped here. Definitely worth stopping by

It was a 5 star place but it's permanently closed! The lengua and shrimp tacos were the best. Can we please get this updated?

Delicious food, great variety, fast service. Go past the big Mexican restaurant in Salina and head here.

Where in Utah is Lee today?!…read more You voted for Mexican food, so I'm spending some time visiting a few of my favorite spots in Central Utah. Today's stop was right here in Richfield at Playa Azul TacoShop, where I grabbed lunch before heading out for my ride. And just like every other time I've been here... This place was BUSY! The parking lot was packed with cars and motorcycles. Local businesses were holding lunch meetings, and families were enjoying great Mexican food together. Today's pick: Crispy Chicken Taco with chips and salsa First bite? Hot, fresh, juicy chicken wrapped in a perfectly crispy tortilla. Simple, delicious, and exactly what you want before a long ride. Lee's Local Verdict: Worth stopping in Richfield for? Absolutely! Fast, friendly service, great food, and a full parking lot that tells you everything you need to know. Now I'm curious... What's your favorite Mexican restaurant in Central Utah? And if you stop by, tell them the "Where in Utah is Lee?" guy sent you! #WhereInUtahIsLee #PlayaAzul #RichfieldUtah #MexicanFood #TacoRun #UtahEats #WorthTheRide #LiveToRide #RideToLive #WhereToNext

I wasn't super impressed w the carne asada - a little dry and not a lot of flavor. But the carnitas were excellent! My son had a carne asada burrito and had the same feedback. We all felt like they were missing something like some melted cheese or something. I loved the salsa bar and when they say super hot, go ahead and take their word for it. The green super hot was hot but flavorful and the red was too much for me to handle. Last, my tacos came w lemons to squeeze on them which is uncommon - usually I get limes at other places so that was unique. I'd say it's pretty legit authentic but not quite a 5-star experience.

This weekend we happened to be starving as we passed through. Man am I glad we took a chance on this unassuming gem. Inside is on the smaller side but not at all crowded. It looks exactly like you want a local Mexican restaurant to look. It was seat yourself but then a waiter brings you the menus and complimentary chips and salsa. The chips and salsa tasted fresh and not too spicy for us. My husband ordered the Taco Salad with shredded chicken and I ordered the Enchiladas Suizas (with shredded chicken and red sauce). We were both super pleased with our food. Mine came with rice and beans on the side. The rice was standard but the beans were delicious and flavorful and creamy. My husband thought the shredded chicken was wonderful. My opinion was that it was wonderful and when mixed with their guacamole- dynamite. I got some guac to go so I could enjoy it at home. My enchiladas were tasty and plenty of food - too much for me in one sitting. We ended our meal with some churros - I loved them - crispy and fresh and sweet. They came with whipped cream that made them just perfect. Will I be back next time I am hungry in Delta - absolutely!! Bonus: they are open on Sunday.
