This blessing being that we would save an abundance of money that would have gone towards a higher mortgage at a new home. Therefore, we figured that we would use the money to make upgrades to our home. While playing video games together, my son suggested that we turn our spare room into a "mancave." After furnishing the room with a comfortable futon, I figured that we should upgrade the 42 inch tv that currently resided in the room to something a bit bigger (so American of me). While at Best Buy waiting to pick up a new tv, I began looking at tv stands; however, most of the stands were bulky and would conflict with the minimalist approach that I was aiming for. I immediately started watching YouTube videos on how to install a TV wall mount, and came to the conclusion that it was a job that my wife and I could take on. However, when the mount arrived at our home via Amazon, we realized that we much rather prefer to have a professional install it. I immediately did a Yelp search for "tv mounters" and the results led me to Alive Entertainments owned and operated by a gentleman named Francisco. Francisco not only had perfect reviews (and the photos to showcase his work), but also had a really cool bio about his journey working with electronics (ironically I had a similar upbringing in relation to installing car audio systems in my youth). I gave Francisco a call and was able to secure a same day appointment. Leading up to the set appointment time, Francisco did a great job of communicating his status. Francisco arrived at 1:23 pm and finished the installation at 2:10 pm, which was extremely quick. It probably would have been quicker had I not bothered Francisco with questions pertaining to the installation. I'm using the word bothered; however, Francisco did not seem bothered at all to patiently answer my questions. By the attention to detail that Francisco applied to the installation, it's pretty obvious that Francisco is knowledgeable and passionate about his craft. I'm looking forward to playing video games and using our spare room for at-home workouts on those days when I cannot make it to the gym. I will definitely refer Francisco to my family & friends, and plan on scheduling another appointment in the near future to have our bedroom television mounted. Thank you Francisco!

They had appointments available as soon as the next day which was unlike other companies we reached out to, and they were also the most affordable. They even gave us a call when they were on the way, and arrived right on time for our scheduled appointment. They were also polite and removed their shoes, and wore masks and abided by social distancing guidelines. We purchased a mount ourselves for them to use for mounting our TV on the wall. They explained everything thoroughly, and I could even hear Francisco explaining to his son each step along the way, as it seemed he was training him. It really showed how much he knew about what he was doing! Once the tv was mounted, Francisco m explained to us how to use the mount, and how to uninstall it if we ever needed to put up a new TV. I was impressed with their punctuality and their level of knowledge. Usually these kind of service appointments don't occur right on time. They were in and out, in less than one hour. If we ever have any entertainment needs in the future, I will be calling up Francisco again, no questions asked!

My wife and I have a home theatre system and we needed some help with installing in the new lightbulb. We had no idea what we were doing and we needed an expert to help us. I reached out to Michael and we were texting back and forth and he said he could help us out. Via Text he goes yes I can help you install your lightbulb and make sure your system is working for $150 for an hour of work. Any expert or pro who does this could do it in maybe 30 minutes or less. So he came over, I was not home so he was dealing with my wife and he was having a very hard time getting the projector down from the ceiling. He finally realized that he did not have the proper tools to get the projector down so he had to run over to Home Depot to purchase the tool to get the projector down. He took about 30 minutes or so, maybe longer to get back to our house. He gets the projector down and we realize the lightbulb that we ordered was damaged, that was on us and we missed that, but he goes that will be $175 to take down the projector and do nothing for us, zippo ziltch, left us hanging with nothing done. He said he could come back when he is back in the area and that charge would be $150 to do the job, so now we are spending $325 to put in a lightbulb for our new projector. What kind of customer service is this, zero sympathy, nothing as he is laughing while my wife and I are so angry. I guess it was a nervous laugh or something. Wouldn't even work with us on price or help us in fixing our projector, just left and said good luck. He also was going to walk out the door with the piece of equipment that he needed to take down the projector. The guy was a flake and did not help us at all and now we have been without our projector for months now. I would never use this company at all, run away and call someone else, BEWARE! Shame on you Michael, hope it was worth it, we are good people and just needed help and some compassion and you could care less. If I could I would give him a 0 stars! Also, I forgot to mention it was not our fault that he did not have the proper tools to take down our projector. As he is fumbling about trying to figure out he goes oh darn I need get another tool, I forgot to bring mine. So that is on him and we get charged another $25 for him to go to Home Depot. I called and spoke with Jeremy, and then emailed him some photos and specs of cutouts of our old cooktop and vent hood, and new ones we wanted to buy and install. I asked for a cost estimate to replace them. I was particularly concerned about the cooktop fitting, as I knew it would require cutting our tile countertop. He emailed back a proposal in less than an hour, and we decided to go with him. We then ordered the appliance units. I gave him a heads up of the estimated time of deliveries (about 2 weeks). The vent hood order turned into a backorder (delay of over a month). We asked Jeremy if he could make separate installations (for an extra trip charge), and we set an appointment for the first one (cooktop). But then, the cooktop order (direct from the manufacturer) also turned into a backorder, just 3 days before the given delivery date. So I had to cancel Jeremy's appointment (only 4 days before the appointment). A few weeks later, we ended up getting both units a few days apart, and we scheduled one installation for both. Jeremy and his assistant, Ramad, came within the time window given (and called about 30 minutes prior as a heads up). Replacing the units within the existing countertop and cabinet walls was not an easy task. The cooktop required more cuts to our tile countertop than he'd expected from our photos and specs, as well as to wooden corner brackets below the countertop. The job took a bit longer than anticipated (2-3 hours), but he took the time to complete the job right (including clean-up of all debris and tile dust on the countertop, hauling away the old appliances (no charge), sharing useful information, etc.)
