Before I start my review, they only take cash check & ebt!!! My daughter & I pulled up this morning for the first time and was greeted with warmth and neighborly friendliness! I love how close this place is too. I decided to ditch the store bought milk in plastic containers & go for glass & have been putting off coming here until I noticed that store bought milk started clumping & smelling weird well withing the "best buy" date and only a couple days after purchasing. At that time the place was easy to get In and out of... then, more toward Christmas, I paid them another visit. Ooh-wee! There were lines of cars coming in from both directions, people opting to walk from their homes and one guy came in by bicycle with a big backpack. It's busy and popular, but car flow is quick. Customer parking consists of street parking or the narrow strip besides the counters. There's no car service, so customers must exit their vehicle and approach the outside counters. Broguiere's Dairy (Montebello) ordering process appears intimidating; however, it's fairly simple. This is a little small store/stand on the side of the road that carries Broguiere's milk in the old fashioned glass bottles. It is on a hill and parking is very limited. However, it is worth the wait as the milk is very good and comes in regular, chocolate and strawberry. The best part is they have souvenir bottles. We came to get the bottle that has a picture of Smokey the bear on it. Now you could probably get this somewhere else, but we heard of it from here, so this is where we went. I came to purchase milk here for the first time. I had no idea what sizes or flavors they had. When I walked up to the stand there were two workers up front one was already busy with a customer and I honestly didn't even notice the other, since he was standing behind a small register type of thing. I've moved to the city about a year ago. And I do love the product! But I go maybe once every other month and 3 out of 4 times I've been there, I always feel bad for the employees. This past Sunday I went and these young men are burning out in the 90 degree weather, and then when one of nice workers went in to grab my milk. I see a fan inside for the worker or owner inside. And when I came two months ago, it was raining and VERY cold and these boys were left out just to deal with it.
