We had the most amazing experience at this restaurant tonight. Our server Alicia was beyond incredible. She was so knowledgeable about the menu and very attentive and friendly. She introduced me to a new delicious wine and took the time to write down the name of it for me. Elijah and Brandon made sure our table was pristine throughout our entire dinner. There were no used dishes in sight. They also kept our drinks full and ensured that all of our needs were met. I hope the manager reads these reviews because all of the amazing staff tonight elevated our experience and made this one of our favorite restaurants. We will be frequenting more often because of them. They all deserve praise for their hard work. Thank you all so much for everything! read more

I wish I could give this place a star for a food review but I never even got to eat. All I wanted was a to-go order of the poppers and a soup. The first time I was on hold for 20 minutes then got hung up on. I called back was put on hold for another 20 minutes where I was hung up on again. I called one more time to see if maybe going in would be better when a man came in the phone and told Me that the first available time he had for a pick up was 8pm. It was 7:05. I said no thank you and hung up. He didn't even know what I wanted and it had already been an hour trying to get someone on the phone. read more

We just dined at the Broken Bit. It's one of our favorite date night places to be!! We typically sit at the bar. The servers and bar tenders always provide great conversations, as well as those around us!! Their drinks are amazing!! I enjoyed their red fish with grits. Oh, my goodness, it was incredible. I managed to save a little for tomorrow's lunch!! My husband enjoyed the whiskey burger and there wasn't a bit leftover!! Both were so delicious! We wrapped up with a brownie topped with creme brûlée. Oh so good!! If you're looking for a welcoming dining experience with excellent food, look no further!! The food is excellent! I usually get the fillet mignon kabobs and the garlic mashed potatoes! Fantastic!!! The drinks are great! I love the Annie Oakley martini! Service is good and friendly. Place gets crowded fast so definitely make reservations. I enjoy the ambience, especially in the bar area. Bartenders seem to know their stuff! Definitely go! Wifey and had an anniversary dinner there five years ago, and it was not a good experience. That's a long time to hold a grudge, so we visited once again and had a much different experience. The service was so much better (last time the waitress was SOooo impressed with herself that it was painful to watch), the horrid stuffed mushrooms were gone, the interior was lighter (we could see our food this time..!), and the steaks were not over-cooked. And I have to add, TRY THE FRENCH FRIES. Yes, I know, fine dining and fry's doesn't sit too well with some, but some very high end steak houses feature them, so if you're in the mood for a different potato, these are simple wonderful. Our waitress Tammy was very attentive and such a sweetheart! The food was delicious (definitely recommend getting bread with their 3 different butters as an appetizer!!) and the service was great. We had dinner reservations for our anniversary, & the staff had a cute sign on our table and at the end of meal surprised us with some ice cream. This is my number 1 favorite restaurant in the Antelope Valley. Small in size, this restaurant has a very intimate feel to it, but the flavor in their food is outstanding! Try to make reservations since this is a popular restaurant in the area. The location is conveniently tucked off the main street in "old town" Quartz Hill. The parking lot isn't that big but I've never had a problem finding a spot. Their bar is sufficiently stocked and I especially love their Kickin Mango cocktail! It's a must try! They really don't have happy hour but their smaller dishes and appetizers are worth the price. I've tried all their main dishes and my favorite would have to be the Grilled Quail and the Oak Grilled Caesar. The quail is perfectly cooked, not dry, and the cheese grits is a perfect pairing while the salad is a surprising twist to your traditional Caesar. The host, servers, and bar tender are always nice and cheerful. This is the perfect place for a quick bite and drinks after work, a nice dinner, or a date! The ambience is perfect! read more

What a charming, delightful steakhouse! Came here for the first time over the weekend for dinner with friends and wow were we impressed!! The atmosphere is inviting and warm...your basic cowboy steakhouse vibe. Service was delightful and friendly and it seemed that everyone on the staff was knowledgeable about the menu. Food was excellent!! I had the pork shank that was beautifully presented and full of flavor. My lady had the chipotle cilantro pasta with salmon (which we both thought was a bizarre flavor combination, but she enjoyed it immensely). Our friends shared a 10oz Wagyu Sirloin that was perfectly prepared and looked amazing!! Prices were extremely fair too. Dinner for four with a bottle of champagne came to just under $150 before tip. Yep! I gotta say the Broken Bit Steakhouse definitely exceeded expectation. We will definitely be back! read more

Yummy Bone In Ribeye. Went here tonight to celebrate the anniversary. I had the ribeye while the wife had the filet. Both were absolutely outstanding, melt in your mouth, cooked to perfection! I don't know what they do with the Brussel sprouts but they're like candy! I could have eaten a bucket of them. We are known to travel far distances for a good wagyu steak and will pay a premium if needed. Little did we know that within a short drive, our search turned up such quality steak. One of the best jalapeño margaritas I've ever had. Good Caesar salad. Whiskey Pork Chop is a show stopper. Didn't save room for dessert but overheard a table raving about the cheesecake. Such a cute spot with hi-end food and so convenient! They did a great job setting up an outdoor seating/waiting area, which is perfect during these times. My husband and I came for his birthday and had drinks, jalapeño poppers, steaks with sides, which were great! You can taste the dedication to making delicious food. We got the crab cakes: it was tasty but very expensive. The cowboy burger was delicious within a normal price range. The ribeye was delicious and worth the money. The jalapeño macaroni and cheese was delicious side dish. The wedge was delicious within a normal price range. When I tell you everything was amazing!!! Wow!! Their pasta was a serving for two in my opinion and I was able to have lunch the next day! I think their pasta is handmade because the noodles don't taste like they were bought. It was so creamy and delicious with filet tips on top! My boyfriend had the cowboy cheeseburger and said it was delicious and it was also a big burger. The Paloma's were strong but very good. The service was good as well. I like to come here when I am craving a good steak, but I am too lazy to grill one myself. The drinks are good. The service is great.

It's a shame I rated it 1 star because the steaks were cooked very well. The service was good... The problem came from their obvious bias/discrimination. I made reservations under my very Mexican last name a week in advance. That wasn't the problem. The problem came when we were seated. They sat us in the very end corner of the restaurant. We passed 3 empty booths on our way to our dungeon like seating in a hot corner with no AC circulation. Table was so small it looked like a foldable you normally use for living room snacking while NetflixNchillin. My wife was so pissed. I told her there would not be a next time there. But I guess we'll use her last name when making reservations from now on. I told family and friends and they have all agreed to boycott this place. This place is very special for my wife and I, we come each year for our anniversary!! I love that they offer the best whiskey, Rye, and Scotch menus in the Antelope Valley, with several samplers allowing a great way to try many different brands at a great price. The meals are top notch, I love the salmon plate and the salmon salad... yum! The steaks are also fabulous. Lastly, the deserts are always delicious!
