This is my 2nd time coming to Broken Dagger and I had another great experience. My artist this time was Justin Mccroy. Justin was very patient, listened to what I wanted and was very professional. This was a quick little tattoo in remembrance of my mom and I'm very happy. Also, Justin has the lightest hand! I felt nothing. This picture is day 2 of healing. Ill definitely be returning next time Im in town.

This review is long overdue. A month ago I finished a 13 hour cover up session with Luis (8hrs first session and 5 the next) and he is the only one I will trust going forward with any ink. Luis is not only friendly and open to suggestions and ideas but he's a hell of a talented artist! His work is rooted in traditional and neo traditional art and the cover up he did for me is outstanding! I walked in one day (after seeing his portfolio online) asked for 5 min of his time and simply asked "what can we do with this?" From there, he got to work with ideas and came back with a design that was perfect and what I wanted. We all know getting tatted is a process and honestly, if you want it done right you have to find someone who sees it as a process of love! Love for the art and the culture. Luis is THE man for this. The whole shop is insanely professional, clean and welcoming. You can get your first or 20th tatt here and be in the best hands by artists who eat, breathe and respect the culture.

If you're looking for a high-quality tattoo, this is absolutely the place to go. A few days before our visit, I called the shop with several questions, and Justin F went above and beyond--spending 38 minutes on the phone patiently answering every single one. He didn't have to do that, but it immediately gave me great vibes. Between that conversation and all the amazing reviews I read online, I knew we had found the right shop. This visit was especially important because it was going to be my boyfriend's first tattoo, so everything had to be perfect. He booked an appointment with Luis (@rivera_1989), who was incredibly responsive and friendly from the start. We flew into Las Vegas from San Diego and went straight to Broken Dagger Tattoo to begin the experience. Luis was so kind and patient, especially with my very nervous boyfriend. He wanted Ozzy Osbourne's signature tattooed from a photo Ozzy had personally autographed for him. As a huge Ozzy fan, this meant a lot--and Luis absolutely nailed it. My boyfriend loved the result so much that he decided to go all in and get the iconic Ozzy smiley face tattoos on his knees as well. Luis took his time to make sure everything was exactly how he wanted it, and the signature and smiley faces came out perfect. Everyone at the shop was welcoming and engaging, even putting on Ozzy Osbourne music while my boyfriend was getting tattooed. The entire experience was fantastic, and when he's ready to add more to his Ozzy tribute, we already know he'll be coming back to Luis at Broken Dagger Tattoo.

Best experience! First tattoos for my sister and me. Aimee was gentle, curated the cutest Dino tattoo for my sister and drew exactly what I asked for and executed it perfectly. Walked in for reconnaissance to Broken Dagger Tattoo on S. Decatur & W. Hacienda. Met Justin and Randy who were friendly, and professional. 1st things 1st. I need to mention the reason for actually going to the studio unannounced, in person. I wanted to see the environment. The studio was clean, organized & arranged in an open concept. The decor was a pleasant diverse mix of art. The furniture (chairs & beds) was new and lighting was correct for a serious professional tattoo studio. Now the artists. Randy jumped right in to my query, when I asked for a tattoo of a name and wanted it large on my neck. She had availability in 48 hours and asked for images of what I had in mind. From there we texted renderings back and forth-advancing and improving to what I wanted. Final stencil was determined on the day of the the appointment. Randy worked non-stop. She was gentle, communicative with the positions she needed me to move to; and overall fabulous to work with while under the unpleasant pain of the tattoo gun. She offered breaks, but I powered through the 3+ hours on my neck, Adam's apple, jugular & collarbone area. I did take a 5 min. To go out and warm up a bit. Line work and font is superb. She was able to take a figment of my imagination and bring it to life!! Thank you so very much Randy!! I'll seek you out again without hesitation when it's time. *shout-out to Luis (another artist at BDT) who was kind enough to take some pictures on my phone while Randy was laying down the ink on me. I have been planning on getting another tattoo for awhile now. This would be number 6. I called and the extremely friendly lady that answered the phone said we could definitely do something today I brought my idea in and met Luis. He was really friendly and took great care to bring my ideas to life. The entire shop was meticulously clean. Luis took great care to let me see each new needle being opened and did a wonderful job Luis was amazing to work with. He was personable, took his time and made sure I was happy every step of the way This was a 6 plus hour endeavor, my longest session ever. Luis not only helped the time go by but did a phenomenal job on my piece. I cannot recommend this shop and Luis enough

Making an appointment with Janelle was super easy!! She made me feel calm and comfortable and honestly, I prefer getting tattooed by her than any other tattoo artist I've ever had before. The way she tattoos- it's so much less painful than other tattoos I've had before. She is an amazing artist and I can't wait to see all the art she hasn't released yet! Had a great experience with Aimee and Luis did an excellent job on our tattoos today. Vastly different personalities, but each represented for the sibling tattoos.

This place is amazing! The vibe when you immediately enter is so welcoming, chill, and the artists here are so kind, friendly, and communicative!! I have gone here for my first 5 tattoos and I will only continue coming here. I have gotten most of my tattoos from Randy and she is truly so wonderful. She is so understanding, friendly, funny, and so helpful and patient with coming up with the design and making sure I liked where it was going and how it looked. I absolutely recommend to anyone that is looking for an extremely well done tattoo in a super welcoming vibe to come here.

Don't know the artists name and don't care to know. all these ppl care about is taking your money. I went in on this last friday the 13th and got two 40 dollar tattoos and I had a lil more money in my wallet because I had to make a deposit on a apartment this ass hat said to me after seeing my wallet oh I gotta charge you ten dollars on shaving your leg cause I'm using alot of razors tonight. like really head ass bros your charging 300% on your cost and all you did was line work and wasnt in the chair but 10 mins get the fuck out here will not shop here again and it's funny he was talking to another artist and she goes the faster you can get em done the more you make. First time visiting this shop and I was Uber satisfied! Miranda took care of me. Not only did she do amazing work but she communicated prior to the appointment, gave me options, and was super comforting during the entire experience! This is an oasis of tattoo artists! All of them are super nice, very welcoming, super friendly! And they never once make you feel like you're stupid for wanting tattoo you can't describe to them! Lol. Anyway I have seen all of their work here but I really have a sweet spot for Robbie! Well.. I have been looking for an amazing artist to do a big piece on my leg! A black and white tattoo artist with attention to details because y'all know this is gonna last a lifetime right? :) Found Robbie on Instagram actually and messaged him! He then made me an appointment to come in to talk about what I wanted and all! Robbie.. is a very quiet guy and it can be very awkward lol BUT!!!! he knows what he's doing! And believe me when I say this "TRUST HIM!!" I told him a general idea on what I wanted and he exceed my expectations!!! Having been to quite a few shops in town I have to say that broken dagger not only is my fave but seems to be the most recommended amongst my tattooed friends. Whenever a friend gets a sweet job done it seems to always come out of this shop. I've been here twice. Once a few years ago with a girlfriend to get matching unicorn tattoos, and just a few days ago to get a larger more designed piece. When we came in for our unicorn tattoos we called ahead to see the availability and cam was nice enough to squeeze us in that same day even though the shop usually doesn't take appointments over the phone. Our tattoos were fabulous and the experience was wonderful. For My latest tattoo, I worked with Justin. He drew me up an amazing sketch of something I had been wanting for a long time. We then took about 5-6 hours in the shop to get it done. Every artist here is a true professional and has an amazing book of clients. This is not the kind of shop you come to the day of and expect to get in. Most of the artists are booked out so plan on making an appointment for the next day or following week just FYI. read more

I visited Broken Dagger for my first ever tattoo! Immediately, when I walked in the environment was welcoming and the staff were extremely kind. I was a drop in and Randy took up my design in 5 minutes. They worked with me to find the placement and size I wanted, and they got right to work! 15-20 minutes later I was all done and it came out perfectly. 10/10 recommend this place! read more

Called to make an appointment for a new tattoo and was randomly transferred to speak with an available tattoo artist. Andy? Endy? Whoever answered the phone here, really didn't give a shit about what I was looking for and just passed me off to whoever was just sitting around there. Apparently, that was Endy. Endy seemed distracted and not at all interested in discussing the work I wanted done. Even when I explained it, he was distant and was like "yeah, yeah....ok". I realized he wasn't into listening to my questions or description. I asked about consultation and appointments. He said "uh yeah, just come in around 1pm and ask for me." I don't think so! Clearly there's no respect for my time if you aren't even willing to confirm an appointment for me. Do you think myself or anyone who is about to put some serious ink on their body is going to let you touch them with that attitude? No thank you. Not my first tattoo rodeo. Did not feel that this shop cares about the details of the potential work enough to make sure they fully understand the piece and you get with the right artist. Just hey, pass you over to whoever is just sitting around bored at the shop. Lazy customer service translates to lazy work, in my opinion and no lazy pen will ever touch my body. Off to find a shop that actually values customers and takes the time to make sure they have the right artist for the work. This place isn't it. read more

i got 444 tattooed on my wrist it's not straight they slant downward and one of the 4s are thicker than the other two.. kinda disappointed for the amount of money i spent including the tip. other than that they were nice and got it done pretty quick. read more

First impression .....Clean organized shop. Actually stopped by to see about a piercing which they don't do. Since I was there asked about a heart tattoo with a paw print inside for my ankle. No color just black.. Justin at the front desk pulled up a few drawings and I said let's do it. Now I asked the price I swear he said about 50 which I thought was really great price for size and time needed. Tattoo is exactly what I wanted and then went to pay him, prefers cash and then he said 150. Don't get me wrong, tattoo is exactly what I wanted. spent less than an hour there start to finish and paid 150. Plus 30 tip. read more

Woke up Saturday morning and started looking up tattoo shops. We moved to Vegas almost 5 years ago and have been looking for a shop and artists. I am so very thankful for everyone's reviews. Best Tattoo Shop we've ever been to! My best friend and I were looking for a detailed, professional shop. Gianni took care of us the first time we came in (we are out of towners) and was extremely professional and nice! Not many nice people where we live! From the initial communication on Instagram to in person, nothing but the best! Gianni and Benjamin were efficient, patient, super nice and did great work! I had to write a review because I had such a great experience especially since it was my first tattoo. So I had an idea about what I wanted and I called the shop and Justin helped me out . He ended up drawing exactly what I had in mind which was great. We weren't able to meet in person beforehand unfortunately because I'm from LA but he was still able to get everything I wanted from different pictures I sent him of styles I liked. When it came to actually getting tatted he does quick & clean work! Highly recommend coming here and asking for Justin he's great! Can't wait to come back and get my next one with him! read more

I have gotten several Tattoos, Leah has been my Tattoo Artist and she is absolutely amazing. Her work is 'TOP NOTCH' I have gotten many Tattoos during my 26 1/2 years in the Navy and no where have I found a better Tattoo Artist, one thing I have to point out is there is another Tattoo Artist just as good, her name is Julia, she used to work at West Coast Tattoos, she was winner of Cover Girl for Tattoo Magazine for the Las Vegas Region and now works at broken Dagger Tattoo. Look them up, they are both just wonderful Tattoo Artists and very friendly and will do the utmost to ensure your Tattoo experience is the very best that it can be. I have an appointment today with Leah and I am really looking forward to it. Also the other Staff are very friendly and the shop's cleanliness is 'TOP NOTCH' I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BROKEN DAGGER TATTOO. read more

Did my research and decided to try Broken Dagger for my first Tat... The shop was Amazing with so much original artwork... There was a nice mix of slightly different styles of artists to choose from which was great... I got extremely lucky and Gianni (who owns the shop) did a custom Dragon drawin g on the spot and we sat down and he knocked it out of the park in about 3 hours... Everthing about this shop is top notch and everybody was super friendly and all the customers that were in there when I was left with huge smiles... I will definitely be back.... I feel like I got a great deal with a bomb ass tat for a very reasonable price... These guys are worth it !!! read more

Kelsey is amazing! She is so talented and was really patient with me and all my questions and requests. I have searched across Vegas to find a quality and affordable tattoo artist, I had almost given up when I found Robbie Pina at Broken Dagger. He worked with me to get what I wanted (a Last Unicorn tattoo), even when I got pregnant after we did the outline. I had to wait quite a while to go back but he remembered me and we were able to pick up right where we left off. I finally got it completed and it is AMAZING. He's done my tattoo along with tattoos on each of my sisters. All of the work I've seen from him has been just awesome and I will not go to anyone else. The shop itself has an awesome environment due to all the artists working together to welcome their clients. It's super clean and spacious. The shop is great and Robbie is the best! read more

The dude was too heavy handed and I told him during the tattoo multiple times...If you look closely you can see where all the scaring is and the color has already fallen out and needs redone (elsewhere). First off - LOVE Lily!! She is super sweet, very helpful and an awesome tattoo artist! I like the staff here. Mainly because they all seem to get along and joke around a lot. That always makes me feel comfortable. You're uncomfortable enough as it is when you're having your body needled up. This place is clean and the decor is pretty sweet. I called to make an appointment with Lily after seeing her portfolio on Instagram. I emailed her what I wanted and she was ready when I got there. I've had a hard time with people wanting to do my tattoo in all red. Some artists just don't like it because it doesn't always turn out as well - this is what I've been told. Lily said "no problem" and completed the job better than I even anticipated. They have very reasonable pricing and they're fairly easy to get into. I would recommend really knowing what you want before you go in and schedule an appt. They seem to get a lot of walk ins due to being so close to the strip. I'm glad I finally found a good tattoo parlor in town. It's hard to find good artists that are friendly. I got an all red lotus - representing my recent spiritual journey. First time here and as soon as I walked in I was greeted by everyone with a friendly and enthusiastic hello! I had heard about this place from a good friend that gets her tattoos here from a particular artist who specializes in the art that her and I are interested in. It was about noon on a Wednesday and only one other person was there. I was meeting with Kelsey Lane for a consult but to my surprise she had drawn up my piece already! I had texted her a general idea of what I wanted and she couldn't have nailed it any better. After the finishing touches on my drawing, we began the tattoo process right away. My piece was rather large and full of detail but we knocked it out in about 3.5 hours. Kelsey was super laid back, and very gentle to the touch. It's been a little over 24 hours and my tattoo is looking fresh, and I see no signs of clumped skin or bad scarring. Kelsey has extremely clean line work and goes above and beyond with her freehand of details. I have another hour session left and I just can't wait to see what the end product looks like. I found this parlor on Yelp with it's great reviews. It is literally a mile from my house, so I thought I'd check it out. I walked in with an image of what I wanted. This parlor is all about tattoos. No bulky aisles of merchandise like bongs, incense.... just the artists portfolios on the counter, and their artwork to look at. I was greeted immediately, and given to Derek, as I was told he's the best at realistic art. He gave me a quote, and I made my apnt for 4/2/15. I was so excited all day. About 1.5 hr before my time, he texted me asking if I minded pushing my time 1.5 back as his current clients was taking longer. I appreciate he took the time asking, as nobody wants to show up just to wait. So, my daughter and I arrive. There was great music playing, Derek and Jason were funning around with the 3rd artist, like best buddies. They were all very friendly and laid back. We watched as Derek prepped his area. I paid close attention to his detail to bring clean and sanitary. During the process we had great conversations, and about 40 min later we were done. I love the job he did. I picked 2 colors and told Derek he can color it however he sees it best.... I trusted his talent. His lines are clean, and the color shading is amazing. I will definitely be back. **BACKSTORY FIRST!**: My Papa was murdered on Christmas Day when I was little and although we didn't grow up without a father figure, we still love and cherish our Papa. So for about 3 years, my eldest brother and I have been talking about the four of us siblings to get a tattoo together to commemorate our Papa and to show our unity. I am the youngest of the four and the two middle brothers did not agree to getting a tattoo, so it was down to just my eldest brother Nahko, and myself but throughout the years we never had a chance to meet up and get it done or even figure out what exactly we wanted. Over the weekend the Life is Beautiful music festival was going on Downtown and my brother and his amazing band (Nahko and Medicine For The People) were performing on Sunday. Prior to this weekend, I hadn't seen him in months. After his performance I went to the back to hug him and I was suddenly reminded that we were supposed to get a tattoo together so I told him and he was glad I remembered and just as I reminded him about the tattoo, (we still hadn't know what we wanted to get) he said that the beginning lyrics to his song "So Thankful" popped into his head. The words were 'Papa didn't die in vain' and as soon as he said it, we all got chills, we just felt it, it was perfect. It was decided. This was the tattoo we were getting. I found the script I wanted and searched around for other tattoo parlors on Yelp. The next day, (two days ago) we drove together to Black Dagger Tattoo Parlor and now... Here is my review: **REVIEW TIME!** I called earlier to see if we needed appointments and they said we could just walk in. I chose this tattoo parlor because it was one out of two that had complete 5stars but this one in particular had 46 reviews and the other had 22. My brother, a friend, and myself walked in and weren't really greeted upon arrival, so it was a bit awkward for me. My brother spoke up and said we wanted matching tattoos of a certain script, and a guy named Robby he asked me to text or email it to him and so I did. He came back with a print out of what we wanted and asked us to place it where we desired. Once we showed him, he turned and left saying he needed to set his station up. After maybe 10 minutes, I went back with him and my brother and our friend followed with me. I watched him, with gloves on, clean and sterilize my arm and take his time in ensuring that my tattoo would be straight along my arm,, not crooked, not too high or too low. I laid on the table/bed thing and he started. I tried to make small talk but felt a bit uncomfortable because he didn't seem friendly, mostly just "business". He told me it's because he was tired. He talked more once he asked what the meaning behind my tattoo was and the conversation went from there. My tattoo took about 20 minutes, easy.. Although I must say it was the most emotional experience I've ever had in my life. I felt like Papa was with us, proud of us, watching. It's the most important tattoo I have and it was inked with so much meaning and love behind it, I started to cry. I hope Papa loved it just as much. Prior to finishing up my tattoo, he gave me verbal instructions on taking care of and cleanings tattoo. Soon after was my brother's turn and it was an emotional experience for him as well. The only thing that was wrong with his tattoo was that one of the letter "i"'s were not dotted. We didn't notice until after we left though. Before we left he also gave us each a little postcard of instructions as well. Anyway, I would probably come back again on my next tattoo. I love this one and am very pleased with it. Nathaniel was amazing in accommodating my walk-in request. It was a simple design that I had autographed on my arm and I was hoping it could be traced and created into a smaller stencil that could be placed in a different position on my arm. I keep catching myself staring at it like it's a new pet. I have shown it to strangers. I have adjusted my outfits to make sure it's visible. I moisturize it like it's royalty. If it asked me for rent, I would pay it. The pain? Worth it. The adrenaline? Elite. The emotional attachment? Concerning. This tattoo has changed my personality. I now say things like "yeah, my artist..." as if I've been part of an underground art collective for years. I have zero chill about it. If you make eye contact with me for longer than two seconds, I will show you. Five stars for talent. Five stars for making me question reality. I walked in mildly nervous and walked out feeling like I had just been branded by a mysterious but benevolent art deity. Would I go back? Absolutely. Would I understand him any better? Probably not. I attended a conference for women in land surveying this last week. We found ourselves here the night before our flight, as I'm not one to trust a super cheap shop. Tony was amazing. I wanted to fit into the theme of north arrows but I didn't want to be literal as I already have a compass tattoo. I'm from Oregon and wanted a stalk of lavender and a bee. Tony understood the assignment and made it so artsy I can't stop looking at it. I'm not sure if I asked for an arrow, as I was exhausted from being out as sober support for my other surveyors after hours, but there is a shape of one with the bee and flower. I traced the lines on a photo because I am that professional and so my qa/qc . I truly love it! The whole appointment was a wonderful experience and now we both have a bee tattoo. I never get spontaneous tattoos and I'm so glad this worked out so well. I doubt I'll do it again unless I find Tony! I'll likely find him/travel if I get another larger tattoo in the future. Also, I want to note he was very respectful and aware I was a child of trauma with issues and a fidget toy. He not only watched for any buddy language, but also empathize with me in his families life experiences. Easiest tattoo experience I have had and it erased a "bad" experience relating to another tattoo artist, though their work was also very good.

When I need a barber shop I might give them a chance but it's far from my home. The guys working here were very friendly. I should have asked them how many people think this place is also a speakeasy. It's located inside El Cortez and on the second floor where the original hotel rooms are located.

One of the best parts about this place is that they have live music almost every night, which is awesome. We went on a night when a cover band was playing, and they were fantastic. The venue itself isn't very big, featuring a small stage and a really intimate environment. Depending on your vibe, you can reserve tables, hang out in the VIP seating area, or just stand around the floor and enjoy the live band performing. The energy was upbeat, and the place was already packed and buzzing even as early as 9 PM. My only real complaint was that the music was incredibly loud. It is turned up so high that you absolutely cannot have a conversation with anyone in there without screaming, which is something to keep in mind if you're looking to chat. Overall, it is a great entertainment place with a fantastic vibe. If you want a lively spot on the Strip with great music, this is definitely worth checking out!

Got to barbershop and the line was 20 deep. Ruh Roh. It did end up being 40 minutes wait but we made friends in line (ended up all hanging out inside). We almost gave up to back to ski lodge but decided to not be quitters....so glad we stayed. Love the decor. It was loud (not a biggie) so we got some great ol fashioneds at the bar, then inched our way to center dance floor where we didn't stop dancing to the band til 1 pm when they stopped.....we had so much fun, we (and others) wanted them to keep playing. It did cost me $25 cover (wife was free). I was ok with this. i think before 9 it's free to get in. Amazing night.

My barber Cesar moved to this store a few years back, and despite me moving to a house in the North West of the valley, I am still happy to make the drive here for his awesome and friendly service, and for the overall experience. I highly recommend him, so ask for him by name if you are booking or doing a walk in! The interior really is very cool, great to have a true barbershop feel to enjoy rather than the bland and clinical interiors of most modern chains or shops. It's fun looking at all the decor, including some of the more fun items on display, it all just adds to the overall experience. It's also reasonably priced, though be aware this is a cash only establishment, so no cards, but they do have an ATM. Overall, Good Times Barbershop lives up to its name. It is always a great experience coming here and I highly recommend this business.

My sister-in-law and I were visiting Las Vegas and both summoned up the guts to look into getting tattoos. A Vegas-local friend of mine recommended a different place to go, but we were unable to locate it (apparently, they just moved)...so a little research led us to Broken Dagger and the many positive reviews here on Yelp. We decided to drop in on a Thursday evening, hoping to be able to talk to someone before we made our final decisions...we hadn't called ahead, so we weren't sure if they would be able to work us in anyway. Upon entering, we were immediately greeted by a couple of very friendly guys. The place had a great vibe, was super clean, and very, very cool. Jason ended up talking to us for a long time about our options and he was super-patient with a couple of tattoo virgins who had no idea what to expect. He drew us up a couple of things that we each really loved (after looking at the book of his work, there really was no doubt of how good an artist he is) and put us totally at ease about the whole thing. He is an awesome guy to talk to, and he really knows his stuff. BONUS - he made sure the best music was playing the entire time we were there. :) He did an AMAZING job and we are both really thrilled with the pieces we got. The prices were very reasonable, too. After we left, as we were driving back to our hotel, my sister in law and I remarked that now we understood why so many people want MORE tattoos after they get the first one. When you have a great experience, with a great artist, in a great place, it makes you want to go back....and to tell all your friends (and even strangers) about it. Had a great experience! This was my first visit to Las Vegas to visit family that recently moved there. Older siblings all got their first tattoos in Vegas and I was thinking of getting my first while we were there. Once I decided on what and where I wanted it, I started looking for a parlor. Found Broken Dagger as a potential option through Yelp's reviews and pictures. While there isn't a parlor website, the reviewers spoke highly of the parlor and the photos gave me the vibe of the type of artwork that was done. Unlike other places I looked at, there were similar pieces close to what I was wanting done. We walked in the first day we were in Vegas and got an appointment made for our last day of the trip. Cameron Kelly was clean, professional, and understood exactly what I said as I described my desired piece. On the day of the appointment, we arrived 20 minutes early and he was sketching out the script. He made exactly what I wanted and placed the stencil perfectly, didn't have to change a thing. Being my first tattoo, I didn't really know what I should expect. Cam was easy to talk to, ensured I was comfortable, focused, and worked quickly. Originally said 1-2 hours and was done in 45 minutes. Absolutely loved the end result. The parlor is very open, clean, and professional. My sister in law with 3 tattoos herself tagged along as moral support. She was impressed with the script work and took a card for future reference having just moved there. I'm 43 years old, and for all my adult life I'd been waiting for the right time to get my first tattoo. After settling on a concept, I brought my idea to Broken Dagger during an extended visit to Vegas. I discussed my idea with some of the artists in the shop, and they directed me to Joe G. for the workup and execution. We met for a consultation, and he then spent a few days tweaking the drawing and made sure I was completely happy with the product. We adjusted both of our schedules and booked a Friday afternoon. After about 7 hours in the studio, I walked away with a phenomenal, detailed black/gray tattoo on my shoulder and upper arm. While I was in the chair, multiple people came by and said things like "Wow! That is incredible!" or "That line work is unreal!" Throughout the entire process, Joe was friendly, accommodating, and considerate, but even more importantly he is an incredible artist. I now have a piece that is unique and perfectly captures the ideas I'd been kicking around for years. To say I'm completely happy with it is an understatement. The experience was top-notch from the moment I walked in the studio. Kudos to Broken Dagger and a big thanks to Joe G. for making it happen. They have a customer for life. read more

Broken Dagger Tattoo absolutely lived up to the hype. From the moment I walked in, the shop was clean, welcoming, and professional, with a great vibe that instantly put me at ease. Miranda was my artist, and she was phenomenal from start to finish. She took the time to really listen to what I wanted, made thoughtful suggestions to improve the design, and clearly knows her craft. Her attention to detail, steady hand, and artistic skill really show in the final piece. I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. On top of that, Miranda was friendly, patient, and made the whole experience comfortable, which says a lot when you're sitting for a tattoo. She explained aftercare clearly and made sure I felt confident about the healing process before I left. If you're looking for high-quality work, a professional shop, and an artist who genuinely cares about her clients, I highly recommend Broken Dagger Tattoo and especially Miranda. Loooooove coming to this shop! Only shop I go to now since I've discovered LEAH. I've actually been following her since the last couple shops she's worked at and SHE'S what brought me to BD. She is truly amazing and is the best artist I've ever been to! Mind you, I am decently tatted up everywhere on my body and most of my artist were never the same. I will keep going to her tho. I've gotten a lot of tattoos/cover-ups from Leah, she's good at what she does challenge or no challenge. Her artwork is the sh*t, she's a mastermind at cover-ups, super sweet, laid back, very professional and comfortable as an artist. First off, Jason rocks! Such a great artist with a great personality too! My family was on vacation in Vegas and we decided to each get a tattoo and found Broken Dagger through Yelp. As soon as we came in, we were greeted by Jason who ended up being our artist. Jason is a fantastic artist & made the experience relaxing and a lot of fun! My mom and I (almost) got matching tattoos and my brother got a tattoo in honor of our great grandmother. I ended passing out during my tattoo which is my body's regular response to pain caused by needles and Jason was educated on how to take care of the situation by applying cold towels, getting me candy, etc. My tattoo still turned out great and I will be returning soon to have Jason finish it! My boyfriend got a tattoo from Joe Green for his 22nd Birthday and could not be happier. Joe was super easy to work with and took our ideas on what we wanted incorporated into the tattoo and made an amazing piece. He was very meticulous in making sure it was perfectly placed, which made me feel much more at ease right off that bat as I could tell Joe was committed to doing a perfect job from start to finish. This was my boyfriend's first tattoo, and he was nervous about getting such a big piece as his first one, but Joe really helped him through the whole process and made him feel super comfortable. The shop is clean, the walls are dripping with inspiration, the crew of talent is top tier (good people making great art) best decision you'll ever make. Justin started a cover up piece for me, he took my idea and improved it then executed a beautiful piece of art so clean I can't wait to go back for another session. He is the kind of artist who listens, suggests and somehow makes the final result better than you imagined. I got my first tattoo here last weekend, and it did NOT disappoint. I walked into the shop (it wasn't even open yet...my bad) and was greeted kindly by one of the artists who was working with an appointment. She informed me that the shop wasn't open yet, but would take my information down and have someone call me later that day. I received a call at about 12:30pm that day from Derek, informing me that he was available to do my tattoo that day! I went back to the shop, was guided through the paperwork and was done with the whole process in about an hour. The shop is extremely clean, fairly priced and it is obvious how much the artists here care about the quality of their work. I would recommend this shop to anyone! read more

Review only on making appointments with Kelsey. I can in on a Tuesday to try to make an appt. I left a note with my information for her to call me back since She was not available. She called me that afternoon to talk about it and then asked me to send her images of what I wanted before she could give me a quote and make an appt. I was looking to make an appt as soon as both our schedules allowed. I spent the next 5 days trying to follow up with her. She never responded back to any of my messages or calls even though on our initial call we had talked about making an appt that Thursday. My husband and I have been going to Gianni for over 10 years now! He has always had the best customer service, a great environment with other awesome artists, and literally the best work you could hope for. My very first tattoo (being 17, and just going to a random shop) I hated feeling like I couldn't say something about not liking a certain part, Gianni always makes sure I like every single detail he has done. He's also amazing at making sure it fits to your body and looks right. He's cleans & sanitary and makes sure you're comfortable. I couldn't ask for more!!! I went in today (July 6) to get my very first tattoo and to say that I was nervous would be putting it lightly. I walked in and was immediately greeted by Jason who would be the artist who did my tattoo. He was super nice, friendly, and very professional while still trying to make it as fun of an experience as getting a tattoo can be. Broken Dagger is great shop with affordable prices and very friendly staff. I would highly recommend going here rather than some tourist trap on the strip who will charge 3-4 times as much. My artist was Robbie and he was great! I came in with a general idea of what I wanted and he was able to create exactly what I had in mind, and he's funny too! Saw Robbie in April and he was fantastic. I was visiting Vegas from Canada and after an initial phone call Robbie worked with me by email to prepare for my tattoo during my visit. He is a perfectionist which means his station is spotless and he will work so hard to give you a great tattoo. I hope to get back to Vegas soon to get more tattoos done by him. When I requested to speak with the owner regarding a concern, I was met with an individual who rudely claimed to be "close enough" to a manager. Instead of addressing my questions and requests professionally, they responded with hostility. I've seen a few shops in my days and this is by far my favorite. It was very clean and the artists all helpful and polite upon my arrival. Not to mention, the great music.
