We had a great time here! There was a great selection of beers along with ciders, wine, seltzers and non-alcoholic beverages. Hubby had the pale ale and I had the lager. Both were refreshing and delicious. The Rivergrill food truck offered up tasty burgers and sandwiches. We had the double cheeseburger and the Philly cheesesteak sandwich. The burger was bit too overdone for our taste, but we didn't specify how we wanted it cooked. Still tasty though. The Philly was a bit too salty. It had plenty of meat and the bun was good and didn't fall apart. There was plenty of seating but it filled up fast. The live music was entertaining. Overall a great experience that we'll definitely repeat. read more

Went in for trivia night. Got there a little late to participate. Place was packed in the back. Good beer and a food truck outside. We sat in the tasting room. What really surprised me was how quickly everybody left after trivia. They need to get more Koozies to buy. read more

Awesome staff and they had live music. My cider was pretty tasty. My husband got a tasting of an ale called the sasquatch... it smells and tastes like what we would imagine a sasquatch would smell and taste like. It was not good but we had a good laugh with it. read more

It's good beer enjoy open air building with breeze in the mountains. Nice to sit and have a flight after a long drive to town. Beers are milder & lighter tastes if you are a custom to west coast IPAs but has good mountain vibes. read more

Walk-up style service. Beer was excellent, a few interesting varieties to choose from. I recommend the Maple Brown - Great taste with a nice finish. There was a food truck on the premises and other patrons seemed to enjoy the burgers. No fries, just chips. You can sit outdoors or indoors. Not a fancy place. Decor was perfect for a brewery. Just great beers at reasonable prices. The staff were super friendly and helpful with beer selections. Will definitely return when in the area. Very good small scale brewery. Good beers and great atmosphere with an interior bar area and a nice patio area where they have some music. Seemed like more of a locals place than a tourist area and it is a little out of the way, not in the tourist area of McCall. Love enjoying the summer at Broken Horn. Late Sunday afternoon is my favorite time to visit

Super friendly to humans and dogs!!! The beer is all dynamite and is the best craft beer in town in my opinion. They have great popcorn and swag. We actually bought our puppies a dog water bowl and we picked up a cool orange growler for us. Parking is easy and it a short walk from or to the McCall RV park. The city walking/biking path is also right behind the brewery so you can have a few too many and walk to downtown. read more

People were so friendly here! They gave us samples before we made our choice. I usually like Amber, but they don't make those here so this time I chose Initial Attack, and it's very good and smooth, maybe my first enjoyable beer ever. We sat outside on the deck and listened to the music. read more

Totally could be a 5 if it wasn't for COVID! Great and friendly service and better yet AWESOME beer. I had the double IPA -seems to be the meeting place for the Smoke Jumper school. Lots of activity and enthusiasm. I'm not sure if they normally serve food? But the beer was great the service awesome and the atmosphere topped off by the 5 point buck (no broken horn) there to taunt the two dogs on the patio (no dog/buck incident) read more

This place doesnt have food which is a downfall, but they have a few good beer choices that are good. I really like the Black Diamond...which is a mix of their stout and IPA. The decor was bizzare...a mix between aviation and taxidermy...huge animal heads EVERYWHERE! I'm overall whatever about this place. read more

On a warm Saturday evening in August we ventured to this brewery off the beaten path and it is worth hunting it down and making the trip. We had the Cinder Viognier wine which was served in a large glass with a heavy hand. It was delicious, with a fruity smooth finish. We also had the IPA which is well rounded with a subtle hoppy finish. It isn't your typical IPA but it's worth trying. We got the pale ale which was described as wet but refreshing by our ever so sophisticated friend. We enjoyed these beverages out front overlooking an old DC3 plane owned by a local and spent some time wandering around the brewing equipment which is open for the curious. First of all, contrary to the Yelp info, Broken Horn is open Monday's! Check their website for proper hours. No food, but every beer was spot on! I could transport this nanobrewery to Beervana (Portland, OR) and it would be successful with flying colors! From a beautiful lager, through the pale and jalapeño cream, IPAs and a Porter and stout, well crafted beers. There is something to like for every palate. A bit off the beaten path in McCall (on the west side of the airstrip), but worth finding. I foresee this brewery growing to meet demand in the near future; well done on all fronts! Nice little brewery in McCall. The tap list covered all the necessary beer flavors from ales to stouts. BH is a brewery without food. Setting is quaint and intimate. The drinking room can sit about 15 so be prepared too stand. The server we had was bright and cheerful. Great interaction. 5 stars on service. The beers were ok. I tried 6 beers covering the spectrum. Some of the beers were a bit flat on flavor with nothing standing out as WoW! Amazing dry hopped IPA as well as a sweet tasting room. The garage doors were up the day we visited allowing people to sit outside and within the brew operation. We sat and played cards, listened to the tunes, and got hoppy! I would put BH on the top of your list if you visit McCall and like craft beer. read more

Very cool little brewery with a fine sampling of beers. They have a cider as well, it's pretty tart and tangy. The jalapeño beer is tasty. We are visiting in the area and heard that that there was a live band so we decided to venture down. It made for a delightful evening. A very casual place where the local people hang out. Finest brewery in McCall. What an amazing place. No corporate influence like snake river. No pretentiousness like McCall brewing. Kaley (probably butchered that) beautiful and awesome. It's such a small, family oriented place that her little girl and husband were there in back. The owner whose name I would also butcher (kailin, ouch,I know I killed it, sorry bro) is amazing and coupled with his beautiful wife you can't find a better more respectable place to drink phenomenal beer. An accomplished Hunter and amazing brewer he's well spoken and a good man to just shoot the breeze with. Get in here and have a beer. Finally got a chance to stop in on our last evening in town. Nice little tasting room with seating around the bar. It doesn't seat many so it would likely fill up fast but luckily we beat the rush. There is also a (parachute) covered patio for additional seating outside. They had a good assortment of beers on tap and also offer canning onsite so you could take your favorite brews home without relying on a growler. The staff was very friendly as were the other patrons and I chatted with several of them while waiting my turn. We were on a quick run so I wasn't able to stay long enough to try everything, but there were several that caught my eye. I sampled the Hells Canyon Jalapeño which was light and refreshing with a nice heat, and the Pin Up Porter which was rich and smooth. We grabbed a can of each, as well as the Sasquatch Stout which I cannot wait to try. Definitely worth a visit and I'll be sure to drop by again the next time we're in McCall, hopefully on one of their live music nights. read more

We had a great time at Broken Horn and agree - best beer in McCall. A neat little tasting room with 11 brews on tap including a selection of absolutely fantastic darks.
