First we got on the "waitlist" online since we knew it would be a busy Sunday morning. When we got there we were told they had a new owner and he didn't use the waitlist. Maybe he should call the IT guy and have them remove it from the website. We were finally seated after a bout 15-20 minutes, not too bad. We were given menus that were so disgusting i felt I needed to wash my hands. The food took forever, about 25-30 minutes after we ordered. The biscuits and gravy were disgusting, hard biscuits, separated gravy (what little of it there was), and cold hash browns. I barely made it home before my guts exploded. Never again! read more

The food was missing flavor, for breaks fast you would think they couldn't mess it up, but somehow they did. Only saving grace was that one of my kids liked their food. My husband and I were walking by after dinner one night, and the new owner was outside cleaning the windows and invited us in to check out the new place. It's absolutely gorgeous and new on the inside! Bill, the owner, was such a nice guy so we decided to stop by the next morning for breakfast on our anniversary. Everything was stellar from the service, the cleanliness, the music playing and the food- oh my gosh, it was the BEST breakfast we have ever had. The bloody Mary's were spicy and flavorful! We can't say enough wonderful things about our experience. You can tell the love and care Bill takes with his restaurant as he's going around checking on patrons and bussing tables. I am only giving two stars because my waitress was very nice. I ordered breakfast at 10:30 and didn't receive any food until almost 12:00, my meal was mid, the hash browns were worse then the frozen ones at the grocery store, bread was dry and the bacon had a strange flavor. This is our second time coming here and this has become a big family favorite. Oscar treated us like family straight away and took such good care of us. After working 14 hours at Coachella 2 weekends, in a row this was such a treat to have an amazing breakfast with exceptional service. Oscar, our server, was so attentive and made sure we had everything we needed in an extremely timely manner. We had the pleasure of meeting Roy, the owner and we can't say enough nice things about him. He went from table to table making sure everyone was having a good experience and that's something you don't usually see in a restaurant. We go almost every weekend and service is normally not that great but to get attitude for trying to help another table is beyond ridiculous. We will not go back. Visited on a Saturday morning around mid-day. We were seated within 10-15 min after arriving. Immediately after sitting down we were asked our drink order. We ordered and waited. Someone came soon after we had ordered our drink and asked if someone had taken our order, we said yes and they walked away. 15 mins later our waiter comes and asks if we had ordered drinks, we said yes but no drinks ever came. He took our drink order and immediately brought the drinks. We then waited another 15-20 mins for the waiter to come back and take our order. After it took another 20 min to get our food. Before even touching my plate i could tell the food was cold and sure enough it was. We ordered the El Fuego omelette and it was bland. We also ordered pancakes and they were pretty stiff and chewy. The only positive thing was the mimosa tasted good. Wouldn't return and would not recommend. read more

I love this restaurant and have been to a few of them! But I have to say that the staff at La Quinta is like having breakfast with family. I went alto weekend ago and it was busy, and short staffed but Out waitress Lena came to our table explained the delay and made sure we had everything we needed, hot coffee and lots of laughs! She made sure we were up to date on where our order was at and as usual when it came out it was just perfect! The service, food & atmosphere knocked my socks off! The menu kept me engaged with everything that sounded so good that I had a hard time deciding what to eat. The plating of the 4 meals were a work of art. I appreciate the kitchen for taking such pride in the presentation. The one thing that tied it all together was the service. Our waiter was fantastic. In addition to his genuine kindness, his knowledge of the menu answered all our questions perfectly.
