Omg? I love when I crave something and get it and it's just right. My steak was cooked perfect ok nice flavor, eggs were fluffy and light and the blueberry pancake was everything and more. Harmony made my experience even better with a small chat and helping me with the menu. Thanks Harmony girllllll !!!!!!! I had the patio to myself. It needed one of those fly fans on the table for sure. Overall I loved it !!!!!

Great breakfast place -had their omelettes which were delicious. Great service and such an elegant chic atmosphere with pretty chandeliers and decor.

Excellent food; excellent service. Great Happy Hour!! I had the venison sliders with blueberry goat & caramelized onions. My friend had the avocado & tuna stack, which was tasty too.

Having read some positive reviews for this new spot, we gave it a try for breakfast, which is served 8:00-11:00. It was nearly eleven, but they assured us we could order breakfast, though by the time we were starting to eat, the lunch crowd showed up and the place got more lively. Perhaps too much so, as the noise level was beyond our preference. Service was polite, prompt, professional and attentive. One of us had ab omelette with some fruit and two slices of completely dry toast, which needed something to put on it, maybe butter, more likely jelly or jam. Two of us had pancakes, one with blueberries and one plain, but they added sliced strawberries to the plain order anyhow. Both were tasty and filling. This restaurant has three serving times, breakfast, lunch and dinner, and a full bar for the after work audience. Other than the dry toast, the only other nit was a pesky fly that constantly circled.

Great place to enjoy brunch with friends. Ambiance was very beautiful and the staff were great. I enjoyed a vegetarian omelette with home fries and it was just to my liking. The coffee was excellent!!

Very sparse for a Saturday night. Sergio, our server, couldn't have been nicer. Drinks took about 29 minutes, which considering the small number of people was a little surprising.. Food was OK ,, some better than others. One ordered lamb and it was a bit rarer than ordered so our friend got an extra drink as an apology which was nice. My dish of scallops was good. Dessert was peach cobbler and that was delicious. Was disappointed the gelato listed on the menu was not available but didn't hinder experience: one person commented that the silverware was cheap and not a good fit for the atmosphere.. I'd recommend a better remodel of the space and a little more elegance.

I was very pleasantly surprised when visiting the former villa abate and carnival lounge location in Rancho mirage yesterday. It is sandwiched in between Willies and Foxy's on the corner of Frank Sinatra and hwy. 111. Upon entering it has stark white walls and black floors. I joined a friend from Palm Springs at the bar. We each had a glass of wine, I ordered the mango shrimp salad, which was ample with very large perfectly chilled, deveined shrimp and avocado ....he ordered the Turkey sandwich with seasoned beer battered fries. There was a delightful aioli in the sandwich and a side of cranberry sauce. Our waiter/bartender was extremely attentive and our meals are delivered in under 10 minutes. A very enjoyable experience.

Do we need reservations for dinner?

I would for the weekend and especially through the busy tennis season. We were there on a Tuesday last week; we had reservations at 6:15pm. There were tables available though.

Do they have a happy hour?

We have happy hour every day from 3pm to 5pm at the bar

It was my first time to the area, and I was blown away by the beautiful views and the weather! Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at the Westin, and it was the perfect venue for a corporate conference. Check-in was severely delayed on the day of our check-in, but it did not affect us since we were out exploring the area. I overheard several very irritated people, though, as they were waiting to check in for many many hours, and rooms were not yet clean and ready until after 5pm. I enjoyed the spread out layout of this Westin, and it was convenient to have a room on the main floor. The convention spaces were good, but the air-conditioning made it feel like it was 50°, and everyone was shivering most of the conference. We enjoyed all of the food that we ate, and especially enjoyed the outdoor welcome reception that our conference hosted. It was such a beautiful backdrop, and well managed with great bar service and food options. We also enjoyed the adult pool area, and it was very convenient that it was just steps from our hotel room. Our room was a bit dated, but worked just fine for us. The bathroom was quite large, and easily accommodated multiple guests in one room. Beds were comfortable. The biggest issue we ran into was the power in our room didn't work all the time we called in maintenance, they fixed it, but then it broke again the next day it caused a fair amount of frustration, but the staff really worked hard to get it resolved. We enjoyed long walks around the golf course each morning, the coffee shop, the restaurants, and the ease of parking. We also saw a prom being hosted there and a wedding. The staff was friendly, and overall it was a great hotel for a conference!

Our rooms were supposed to be ready at 12:00 PM, but when we got there around 12:28 PM they still weren't available. We ended up waiting in the lobby for about 25 minutes just trying to speak to a manager because the front desk staff couldn't get the rooms unlocked. The employees at the front desk were polite and trying their best, so this is not directed at them, but the communication and management responsiveness really need improvement. After traveling all day, it was frustrating sitting in the lobby with no clear updates or help. Then after finally getting into the room, I went to take a shower and the shower hose had been pointed straight outward. The second I turned the water on, it sprayed directly into my face and all over the bathroom floor. When I turned the water back toward the shower, I noticed there was already a towel sitting inside the shower completely drenched, which honestly made the whole room feel like it hadn't been properly checked or prepared before guests arrived. The property itself is beautiful, but the overall experience definitely did not match the level of service I expect from a Marriott property.

It's on the corner of a little strip with a few other restaurants. Right next door to a Thai restaurant that I've been to before. There's parking in the back and along the side but if you don't mind walking a bit, there's a covered parking structure around the corner. There was already a line forming when we arrived sunday afternoon. Checked in with the hostess which whom she was the sweetest and very friendly. Put your name down and phone number and you'll get a text when the table was ready. They have a little seating area to the side where you could wait but we just ended up walking around till our table was ready. It was maybe 10,15 minutes wait when we got texted. The restaurant isn't that big with a small covered patio out front and some seating inside. There's a bar counter that I think you can sit as well which looks out to the kitchen. Menu was pretty impressive with brunch. Everything actually looked good on paper and even better when plates were being brought out. We started off with a bottle of the bubble and some juices. Found out that each juice added was 2.00. They should at least added a juice to it, but oh well. They did have some drinks deals which you should utilize. Brunch, the hangover omelette with 3 eggs, sausage, bacon, ham, mushrooms, bell peppers, Serrano topped with green onions, sour cream and cheddar cheese. Comes with a side of toast or English muffins and either tots, potatoes, salad or fruits. And the Florentine omelette, vegetarian. 3 eggs with spinach, mushrooms, tomatoes, feta cheese and avocado. Also comes with sides of toast and potatoes. The meal was great. The table next to us had orders some dishes that we were thinking about and from the looks of it, it's a must next time. The food was great, service was excellent and the staff were all amazing and friendly. It's a place that I'll for sure be back again. Hours are limited so it's mainly breakfast and lunch.

The hollandaise... was not at all yellow from egg yoke, and had not a hint of lemon, it was more of a béchamel than hollandaise. The potatoes were decent however, cooked through with a bit of bell pepper. My dining companion had one of their chicken sandwhiches with bacon. The bacon was excellent, the bread decent, but the chicken was "like rubber." The space is OK, clean, but very, very loud. And cramped. The service was good, considering how busy they were. When my breakfast arrived, the hashbrowns were almost cold and whilst the toast was nice and brown, as I had requested, I wasn't happy with the hashbrowns. My boyfriend said his burger was good. The potato salad was good, but the potatoes were a little hard. Our waitress, after dropping the food off, did not come back to us to check if everything was ok, not once. I was going to make a complaint about my cold hash browns, but there was no one to talk to about it so I gave up. There was also a greasy flavor to the eggs and the hashbrowns, which can happen if the oil is not changed enough. All in all it was a disappointment, I have driven by this place so many times on the way to my library in Rancho Mirage and I had wanted to try it for years. But if you're serving lukewarm hashbrowns with your breakfast, and if your waitress does not come back and check on you one time to ask you how is everything going, that is not good. She literally didn't even come back to top up my coffee. The coffee was not great either. Another server did to up my coffee once and then when someone came to give us the check, they left the wrong one. It was for a different table. All in all the service was not good. Conclusion, if you look at some of the reviews here, many people have said that no one checked on them once their order was delivered to their table so obviously no one's reading these reviews because this is still happening. I mean seriously this is basic service 101. You drop off the food you give them a little bit of time and then you go back to make sure everything's OK. Maybe they know it's not OK so don't want to ask.

Menu is pretty much same as I remember from last time. Of course the Bloody Mary is always a must here. Started off with that. Food wise, the andouille sausage omelette served with potatoes or a salad and avocado. That also comes with a side of baguette. And the baked brie platter which is a shared starter. But works also a meal if needed. A nice hefty portion of baked Brie with hazelnuts, both ciabatta bread and Asian pear as well as date jam. And a side order of bagel and cream cheese. Food was good. We've only been for brunch and each visit was great. Dinner is a prix fix menu which we have never been. Service was great and the staffs were all very friendly.
