Family and friends, a party of 5 and nobody got what they ordered. The restaurant was slow, food wasn't prepared how it was ordered. Every plate at the table was wrong. Write review for broken yolk cafe in Temecula. I ordered the club sandwich with sour dough bread. Four of my kids ordered the mickey pancakes with sausage and scrambled eggs. My oldest ordered the Nutella crepes. Overall I feel that the food was over priced for what we received. My food tasted very bland the fries were good but I only received 16 fries (yes I counted them). The kids food was good the pancake was large and looked like Mickey's head. They loves the eggs. My eldest daughters food came out really late. Her crepe looked very nice but was kinda dry because he only had Nutella drizzled on the outside. When the food doesn't meet expectations, I typically sprinkle on some salt, but that didn't help this time. I chose the sopes eggs Benedict when I should have opted for the pancakes instead. What was I thinking ordering a Mexican dish at a brunch café? The salsa lacked flavor, the corn sopes were tough and seemed stale, and the shredded beef was dry. My husband went for the Ranchero skillet, but the chorizo was overly watery, and the use of scalloped potatoes felt out of place. To top it off, the onions were served raw. Despite the disappointing meal, I have to commend their customer service, which deserves a solid 5-star rating for being exceptionally friendly. I built my own breakfast with 1 lemon ricotta pancake ($6.45), 2 sausage patties ($4.45) and 2 sunny side ups ($2.95). It was a good sized portion for ~$15. I also added a Chai Tea Latte but it tasted quite weak and overly sweet, so I switched it for a Pumpkin Spice Latte, but the staff noted they ran out of the Pumpkin Spice syrup so they offered Pumpkin Pie syrup. Even though the coffee was weak, it was a much better drink than the Chai Tea Latte, and we happily took it. My partner also ordered the soup sandwich salad combo and it was a good size, not bad! My friend had a buffet style brunch for her guests the day after her wedding and I was very impressed. We got the area towards the left and it felt private enough for all of us to chat (appreciated the space). What pleasantly surprised me was the food. Service and ambiance is great. Most of the food is good. The mom omelette had a little bit too much tomato and lacked flavor, cheese and meat are optional. The chicken fried steak was tasty as was the biscuits and gravy. However, the gravy is too dry. The Benedict was good but the chicken tender used is flat and it wasn't crispy so lacked the crunch and felt a bit soggy. We will continue to visit and try different options as we go through most of the items in the menu that appeal to us. read more

I have to say my experience this past weekend was AMAZING !! I checked in on yelp and by the time we got to the restaurant after a 20 min drive my table was ready and had literally no wait time. It's a family restaurant so be ready to hear kids and adults laughing. It has such a cute vibe with plants and everyone greets you with a smile ! I gotta say the service was amazing, our waiter was fast and very pleasing to talk to she gave us great food recommendations too. The service at this establishment is outstanding however, the quality of the food and the quality of the food ingredients is subpar. This is the second time I've eaten at this particular establishment and I've been extremely disappointed both times both times the food has been sent back to be prepared again.
