This place was super good! The wait was about an hour but it's what we expected and it's also what the estimated time they gave. The place was very busy but still had an enjoyable atmosphere. Despite not having much decor it was bright and airy and didn't really need much more. The service had a few bumps with mainly the drinks from the bar. The bar was definitely backed up but we solved that by ordering two drinks at a time. Very friendly staff and the food was good. The gravy on the country fried steak was kinda bland and the potatoes could have been a bit more done up but all in all Yuma needed a great brunch spot and we got one! read more

Went to the Cafecito first in Yuma. It wasn't a sit down restaurant which I wanted! The reviews for here were good so I drove here instead! Seated promptly and asked for coffee. It came hot and tasted great. I also ordered the Spicy Vegan Bowl. I thought it was small when it came to the table, but, actually was very filling and tasted great! I could come here again if I'm in town. My only annoyance was the the two birthdays going on ... the crew came to the tables and LOUDLY sang happy birthday! It's just not my thing! Ha! Given that this is a new place in town and quite busy, we attempted to order online for pickup. The online ordering process was not working as I kept getting error messages that this location was in another time zone. Per the website, this location is also not taking online orders (error message after placing items in the cart). I attempted to call the restaurant to confirm and to place an order. I was greeted by a message stating that they are dine in only until 01 June. I have heard great things about the food, but certain aspects of customer service are of concern based on the experience I've had with the Broken Yolk. read more

Very disappointed. Chicken fried steak is a frozen compressed meat patty. Toasted English muffin is warmed with a roll of butter slap on it. Original Benedict ok. Biscuits were squishy doughy on inside. Drinks came after meals. It was busy but maybe serving so fast food is not cooked shouldn't be goal. read more

Had reservations this am for 11 people. When the first 4 of our group arrived we were told, "we can seat you when 5 are here" within 7 mins all 11 of us were there, but we were told we couldn't be seated as the kitchen staff had to catch up...really over 2/3 rds of the restaurant was empty. Sadly folks coming to the door saw 11 of us waiting and left thinking the restaurant was full. I finally went outside and told folks "they aren't busy we are just waiting to be seated" then 2 couples thanked me, came in and were seated! I told the gal at the front this and she said "oh well" We saw our table and the water but could not be seated and by the time we were the ice was melted and water was warm. My breakfast arrived after the other 10 ladies were half way thru their Breakfasts and like theirs it was barely warm... We visited The Broke Yolk for the first time and it was delicious. Casey was our server and he was on top of everything. As we were waiting for our food the owner, Roy, came to introduce himself to tell us he will make sure everything came out great for us. He was very friendly, professional and had great customer service. Our food came out shortly after. I had a skillet which tasted so fresh and was so tasty. I couldn't take a picture of my husband's Chicken & waffle Benedict because he ate it so fast because he said it was that good. I'm excited they're here in Yuma, their great atmosphere makes the experience wonderful. Today is their one month anniversary so everyone was wearing cute hats. I'm so happy Yuma is growing and we get to enjoy new restaurants with great customer service. We will definitely be back! read more

First time here at Yuma location. Ordered the No name omelet side of Spanish rice sourdough toast online for pickup. Went to pick up restaurant was busy. I was immediately greeted and told them I was there to pick up online order. The server was very friendly went and got my order. The food was hot and delicious. Everything was great. On time ready when stated. Next time I will definitely dine in because restaurant looked festive and clean . Good price too. read more

WOW!!! Been going to Broken Yolk in San Diego for 20 years. On the last leg back to San Diego after a 5,000 mile drive, stopped in Yuma to spend the night. Was just leaving my hotel, looked up and saw this one. What a pleasant surprise. They have the usual GREAT food and service but this one is full of energy too. I will preface this review by saying that we used to frequent the Oceanside location and never had any complaints so that has a lot to do with my low review. We tried this location around a year ago and got our usuals and they just weren't as good but, we wanted to give them a second chance so we grabbed brunch there today. I got the border benedict and the chicken and waffles benedict with hasbrowns and my husband got the monte cristo sándwich with home fries. There was so much pepper on my steak that it was overwhelming and the outside of my hash browns were burnt while the inside was soggy. My husband wanted to try the monte cristo after having one at The Press a couple weeks ago (It was absolutely delicious. Suggest giving it a try) We were never given knives for our food and the server only checked in on us once when we were almost done eating. At one point they turned the music up and it felt like we were at a bar because it was so loud. There are much better places to get breakfast in Yuma and for a better price. read more
