One ongoing issue for me has always been getting X-rays -- I have tori bone, and it's usually uncomfortable at best and painful at worst. Francesca is an incredibly skilled hygienist. She was able to take X-rays with zero discomfort, which honestly surprised me. Her technique was better than what I've experienced for years. I'm genuinely grateful to have found her. Dr. Aaron was also thorough and clear, walking me through a detailed "report card" on my dental health, which I appreciated. Overall, I feel relieved to have found Ocean Beach Dental and confident I'm in good hands.

I told him it was hard like bone and I have never in my almost 40 years had a canker sore. He looked at it for all of ten seconds and told me to put some antibacterial cream on it for a week. I went to another dentist for a second opinion and was seen by a periodontist who confirmed it was a bone fragment pushing through the gums from a wisdom tooth placing pressure on the bone. Dr Liciaga is a complete joke and sad excuse for a medical professional.

Woke up in some pain so made an emergency call around 11am to the Point Loma location and they gave…read moreme an appointment for 2pm which I later changed to 3pm. I filled out the paperwork ahead of time and was able to walk right in and see the dentist. There was about 8 people in the waiting room and all of them seemed to be seen pretty quickly. I know they have 8 dentist chairs and possibly more because there was a back area that I didn't see. I quickly got an xray and was seated in the one of the chairs which is more cubical style. So don't expect a ton of privacy. Nurse / assistant came in and got me settled and then the doctor came in and read my teeth charts. After a few tests they diagnosed me and set me up with another appointment in 10 days. I finalized what I needed with the front desk who was super chill. I was skeptical on the quality of service when I saw it had multiple locations but honestly it really went great - at least how they treated me. Now I have to come back and finish my services but I feel much more confident in them.
