Freshly made slice, generously loaded with toppings and the size of a small pizza elsewhere, to go. One of the best pizzas I've had in recent memory, and just as good as the Niles location. Easy ordering over the phone and great service. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The historic building has stained glass windows and tons of character, so maybe I'll dine in next time.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

This is a no-frills pizza place that has decent prices and even better flavors. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When you walk in, it's not the most welcoming of vibes - just some tables, a bar/counter area, and a simple menu where you can buy slices or whole pizzas.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This location has been in town for a while, so most likely those who drop in are locals. While you won't be impressed by ambiance, each time I've gone here I've satisfied my craving for no-nonsense pizza and have found myself coming back due to its proximity, simplicity, and quality of ingredients. [[HIGHLIGHT]]You can come here in a large group or by yourself - it doesn't ever seem to get super crowded and wait time is minimal.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There is a fountain drink machine along with bottled drinks, and I think they serve sandwiches as well as pizzas. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very simple, very demure, very mindful - come here to get your pizza fix![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

We usually get takeout from here for my work lunches. The pizzas are really good. We usually get a few different kinds including some with veggie, chicken and mushroom, and garlic cheese bread. My favorite is the pepperoni pizza. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is lots of seating indoors.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] A con may be for people who like ranch with their pizza because ranch is 50¢ per sauce cup. Overall, this is a solid pizza place!

Medium pepperoni and mushroom pizza. Note: Each slice barely had two slices of pepperoni with a light dusting of mushrooms.

Disappointed with my take out medium pepperoni and mushroom pizza today. The pizza was more like a cheese pizza with a sprinkle of pepperoni and mushroom! Called and spoke with the manager, Jensen, who apologized. However offered no compensation like maybe a discount off for another pizza at another time. Add insult to injury, our phone conversation was mysteriously disconnected without resolving the issue! Oh well, so much for decent customer service :(

Excellent old school piled high pizza. Absolutely delicious. Friendly staff. Come check it out.

First off, I'm a pizza snob. I'm from SoCal and I came in on a friends recommendation. I'm not sure how it has a 3.6 rating. The pizza is definitely a top 5 joint! Service was awesome and pizza legit! Don't pass on this place. I will definitely be back.

Is this location open? I called last week to try to order, but the number went to a fax machine sound, then when i tried again it just rang and rang until it hung up. I read some yelp reviews saying it is open, so whats the deal? Smith at loc

Yes, it's open. The phone lines are sometimes wonky. I placed a call to them today, and it said the lines were busy. I tried calling again, and they answered.

We usually go to De Afghanan for our kebab fix, but decided to give this place a shot since it is…read moreso much closer to our house. We drive past this place all the time and I somehow only registered it as a pizza shop, I didn't realize they had a whole Afghan menu. Overall, a worthy substitute, especially for the added convenience. Rating Breakdown: 1.5/2 Stars for Taste -- We ordered the potato and squash bolani. You can choose spicy or mild. Word of warning, even the mild has a slight kick and the peppers are distributed haphazardly throughout. I gave my kid a bite after taste-testing for spice and she started shrieking. My bite was non-spicy...hers was not. We ended up doing visual inspections inside each piece just in case to look for the telltale red flakes. My favorite was the squash because of the hint of sweetness, my sister still loves the classic potato. I wish the outside was crispier, but my order was takeout and I'm not sure how long it sat in the pizza box for. I also read in other reviews you can order extra crispy so I might try that next time. The green sauce the bolani came with is spicier and more watery than De Afghanan. We also ordered the chapli and beef tikka kabob. The chapli was our favorite --the patties were huge! The beef tikka kabob had a slightly offputting mushy texture in the middle, but the flavor and char were overall good. You can choose between brown and white rice and I opted for brown because the server told me it was more popular. The rice is perfectly seasoned, much more evenly spiced than what they serve at De Afghanan. My favorite order of the night though was the eggplant borani. SO good. I could eat a bucket of it. 1/1 Stars for Value -- It was $13 and $14 for normal and squash bolani, respectively. The kebab platters were a little shy of $20 and the boxes were generously packed. It was $10 for the eggplant appetizer, although next time I might splurge $3 more to get it as a platter with rice. 1/1 Stars for Customer Service - I called the order in instead of ordering online and they charged us the in-store price, which is nice. The website prices were on average $3-4 higher. Bonus star because I'll definitely be back for that eggplant. I'm also interested in trying their Afghan breakfast. I'm very sad that they no longer sell sabzi since that is one of my all time faves.

It was delivered with two ground beef skewers and rice as pictured. But also came with a salad, some flatbread, and a nice condiment. Not too spicy for me. Just delicious. For a drink I had Coke. Clean tables. Clean bathroom. Also used as a storeroom But completely understandable in a restaurant of this size. Total was $23.20. I think it was worth every penny. I recommend New York Pizza and Kabab!

Figured it was worth a try. On my first visit, the posted opening hours were from 12:00-10:00, but nobody was at the restaurant manning the window or the counter when I arrived. Second visit happened to be later in the afternoon, about 2pm. I got two slices of pizza, pepperoni and mushroom. Their slices are the New York style, although the crust is a bit more dense than traditional NY style, but I liked the flavor enough to overlook that. The price is quite reasonable too. They also advertise smashburgers on their signage, so I didn't feel like it would be proper to not also get one of those as well on my third visit. I just ordered online and took it to-go, but I had the same problem with nobody really being at the window when I got there. Luckily someone must have seen me standing outside and told the person inside. The smashburger was decent, and the fries that came as a side were perfectly cooked - they are the battered homestyle fry variety, but not too greasy or oily. I think the food here is good, I just think the posted hours could use some clarity. The website says they are open at 12:00, but it's very rare to actually have them be fully open and ready to serve food at that time.

The live music and improvisation definitely made for a great vibe, and the restaurant itself has ample seating. However, while the atmosphere was a hit, the food left a bit to be desired for the price. The ordering process is straightforward. You order at the counter, pay, and take a buzzer to your table until your food is ready for pickup. Here is what we ordered: Chicken Fajitas Pizza (14 inch Sourdough Crust) This is a thin crust pizza featuring chicken, baby heirloom tomatoes, chile pasilla, red onions, and mozzarella, topped with cilantro. The housemade sourdough crust was nice, and the heirloom tomatoes tasted very fresh. Unfortunately, the chicken and toppings felt very sparse. It ended up feeling mostly like a cheese pizza. Given that this is priced as a premium pizza rather than standard fast food, I expected a lot more toppings. Sweet and Fire Wings (Flavor Number 2) The portion size was good, and the sauce definitely brought a nice kick of heat. This comes with ranch sauce. However, most of the chicken pieces were on the dry side. They were just alright, and I probably would not order them again. The Highlights and Extra Details Self-Serve Sauces: They have housemade sauces available for self-service. We tried the cilantro sauce and the orange sauce. The cilantro sauce was excellent and paired really well with both the pizza and the wings. Drinks: They have a selection of draft beers available if you want a drink with your meal. Parking: Finding a spot is very easy since there are plenty of parking spaces around the building. Bottom Line: A big shoutout to the musician who brought us through the door. While the music and atmosphere were wonderful, the food itself did not quite feel worth the money due to the dry wings and sparse toppings on the pizza.

I recommend if you're a pizza fan to try their style of pies. YES, I know there's a lot to choose from but in Fremont I consider this place a solid spot. This pizzeria has been here in our city for years and the pies are delicious. Slices are never cold, always loaded, and many types of pizza toppings to choose from. If you're looking for a homey local spot, check this place out. If you want something luxuriously, modern and fusion, this place isn't for you as it's more classic in my view.
