I was endlessly scrolling through Yelp, looking for new places to eat. I came across this pizza place and was excited to see that they served an Al Pastor pizza. I was pretty excited about it, as I have never tried an Al Pastor pizza. My first impression walking in, the smell threw me off, but in a GOOD way. It smelled like a bakery, not a pizza place. They were baking pan. I knew they sold pan here, but I didn't know they baked it too! It smelled very sweet. The restaurant itself is also very clean and spotless. I walked up to the register and was greeted right away. I ordered a personal sized pan pizza, half cheese, and half Al Pastor. I waited, and since I was the only person in there, it took about 20 minutes to get my pizza. Kinda long, but oh well. She served me my pizza and wow. I was so eager to take a bite and pulled one slice out. It passed the cheese pull test, that's for sure! The first bite was amazing. The pizza crust looks thick, but it's actually really light and airy. I've never had a crust like this. It is more like a bread crust instead of a pizza crust. We have been getting haircuts from the salon next door for about a year but never noticed the restaurant next door until one day when we saw there were a lot of people eating outside. After a quick Yelp search, we were here the following week to try their Al Pastor Pan Pizza. They started us off with complimentary cheesy bread. Soft, fluffy cheesy goodness. We ordered a large Al Pastor Pan Pizza and a large Bonus Pizza. Both were amazing. Their dough is so good! The family loved the pan pizza crust. The Al Pastor was a fusion of deliciousness. I was talking to my friend in Georgia when picking this up and he said he wished they had something like this in his area. The crust is slightly sweet with a nice crispy bottom, it reminded of Panaderia bread. Lots of toppings and I love getting a lot of different flavors in every bite. I enjoyed this but at the same time because there are so many Indian Pizza restaurants in this area the onion and cilantro make it taste similar, would do well in areas other than Fremont/Newark! Thank you-you rock and should get a raise! As an Italian cook, I must say, I am picky about pasta. This pasta is going on my top 3 restaurant pastas of ALL time. It was creamy, spicy, unctuous and just so delicious. I ate part of my sausage pizza, also amazing, and then MADE room to finish my wife's pasta. It was addicting. You must check this place out. Was hard craving pizza and decided to come here w the bf after I saw the good reviews! Got the Al Pastor in medium and added pepperoni, came out to $25.46 including tax and tip. Pretty good size for the two of us! (Our stomachs were close to exploding) I'm not a pizza connoisseur, but I thought it was very yummy pizza! Nice and chewy, crazy cheese pull, and not disgustingly greasy! And wow the juicy, sweet pineapple pieces and little bits of cilantro were a pleasant surprise in every bite. Restaurant posts hours on the door and on their website stating that they open at 11am. However they usually don't open until noon. I've had this issue multiple times. Even when people are there, they just hide inside and won't acknowledge customers. When I finally asked one of the workers during "open hours", he told me that the owner doesn't start until noon and they can't open without her. SO CHANGE YOYR HOURS!?!? Pizza is decent but I won't be back because service is terrible. Also, pricing is all over the place.
