We finally tried Bombay Pizza House after hearing so many recommendations, and it definitely lived up to the hype! Everything was moist, flavorful, and generously topped. Our favorites were the Tandoori Chicken Pizza and Curry Chicken Masala Pizza--we'd order both again. The only downsides were that the mango lassi was out of stock and the prices were a bit higher than other local pizza or Indian spots. That said, the generous toppings made it feel worth it, and next time we'll order a large for the better value. The tandoori wings were delicious but a little pricey for the portion. We also enjoyed the Lagunitas IPA on tap. Overall, a great spot that we'll definitely be back to visit! read more

We were camping near by and wanted pizza so we ordered a medium online from their website. It is part of the toast network and easy to order and pay. The pizza can be ordered with Indian toppings. I figured not everyone would be brave enough to try something new so we ordered a build your own pizza, half pepperoni and half ham with mushrooms on all of it. I did decide to order a 5 piece boneless Tikka wings, felt I should order something Indian. The pizza was ready quickly and was ok. Big slices of ham and smaller pepperonis that got cooked well enough to make some of them crunchy. Really liked the wings. They had a little heat to them and cooked well. I could have gotten a larger order and been happy with that. If I'm back in the area I would go back for the wings and probably try one of their specialty pizzas. I had high hopes for this place as I love butter chicken! We got a large half and half pizza and did half butter chicken and half combination pizza. The butter chicken pizza was really lacking in flavor. The chicken was cooked nice and thick but I couldn't taste the butter chicken sauce at all. If no one told me that this was a butter chicken pizza I would've just assumed it was a cheese pizza with chicken on it. It was also weirdly spicy and it tasted more like a bbq pizza sauce than a butter chicken sauce. I was a bit disappointed as I love butter chicken sauce and would love to see them add way more sauce to the pizza next time as I couldn't taste it. TOPPINGS VS. CRUST At family parties I noticed sometimes pizzas from Bombay Pizza House were served. What makes Bombay Pizza unique is the Indian-inspired toppings. I believe the crust is what makes a pizza. After two slices of eating Bombay Pizza I'm usually full as the crust taste very doughy. I don't know if pizza was cold when I ate it at parties. To find out about the crust I had to eat at Bombay Pizza House, which I never had before. I came here on the last Monday of January for lunch. I will admit I wasn't craving for pizza that day. I ordered 20-piece wings sampler. For the wings I tried four different flavors: achari, tandoori, curry, and lemon & pepper. For beverage I tried mango lassi, which I never ordered before. Regarding the wings I enjoyed every flavor except for the curry, which was only flavor I had that wasn't a dry rub. The mango lassi was a soothing drink to have balance the richness of the wings. A couple days I went back to Bombay Pizza House to order pizza. I didn't order any of the special toppings Bombay Pizza House provides. For me to find out how good the pizza is at Bombay Pizza House I ordered the cheese pizza. I got a small pizza that was 10". Since I enjoyed the wings I tried a different flavor, which was BBQ. One last item I ordered was the masala chips. The cheese pizza itself was delicious, but as I thought the dough was too heavy. If I had ordered a topping with the pizza I wouldn't be able to finish the pizza. The BBQ wings I had were ok that day. The most disappointing item was the masala chips. I thought these chips would be crispy. There were some pieces and some pieces were raw. Eating some of these masala chips made me lose my appetite. From that experience of eating the masala chips along with the doughy pizza I thought about not coming here again and just rate Bombay Pizza House two stars. To be fair I had to order a pizza with a topping. A week later I came here for lunch. I asked if I could order a personal size pizza. The size of the personal pizza was 8". At family parties I had slices of chicken tikka and tandoori chicken pizza from Bombay Pizza. Overall I find chicken on pizzas dry. At Bombay Pizza House I ordered a personal size pizza of butter chicken as I felt the creamy sauce could make the chicken moist. After eating the butter chicken pizza I find it better tasting than the chicken tikka and tandoori chicken pizzas I've had from Bombay Pizza House. You can't go wrong with the toppings from Bombay Pizza House. A lot of people love toppings on their pizzas. For me the crust is the most important aspect of a pizza because it supports the toppings not the other way around. I find the dough too heavy and stale at Bombay Pizza House. The staff was warm and welcoming when I arrived to pick up my order. I ordered a Half Mexican/Half Hawaiian pizza and a Mango Lassi. The pizza was good, with generous toppings. It had good flavor, but it was a bit dry. Also, the mango lassi was a bit sour, so I only enjoyed it a little. The restaurant was big and spacious, and they also had a lot of parking spaces. My friends and I ordered two medium pizzas to-go from Bombay Pizza House earlier this week and the pizzas satisfied our cravings for fusion pizza. We got a Malai Paneer (Malai Sauce, Cheese, Red Onions, Tomatoes, and Masala Paneer) and a Curry Chicken Masala pizza (Curry sauce, cheese, bell peppers, red onion, diced tomatoes, masala chicken, cilantro). I enjoyed the chicken masala pizza a bit more than the paneer pizza: the chicken on the pizza was incredibly juicy and I liked the amount of heat the pizza had. The crust was slightly on the dense side and also ate a little dry. I definitely got Domino's Pizza vibes when biting into the crust, but minus the greasiness. Overall, I had a pretty good experience and would stop by again to try out some of the other flavors. Bombay Pizza has been our go to for years now and their quality, service, and prices have not wavered a bit. Their pizzas are made with high quality ingredients, abundantly distributed all around the pie. They're made to order and therefore always hot coming out. The price point is very reasonable considering the sizes of these pizzas and the frequent discounts that are available (join their mailing list to periodically receive 20-30% off pick up orders, there's always a 10% discount for pickup orders if placed online with the promo code). We typically pick up and bring the pizza home to dine at our leisure but occasionally we have dined in and it's a great setting - plenty of tables and chairs, TVs all around for game days, beers on tap and served in pitchers, and a conveniently located bathroom just out in the hallway. The parking isn't terrible as there are plenty of spots but the spots are relatively tight. My personal favorite flavor is the tandoori chicken and BBQ chicken and bacon, but there are a lot of options. Paneer for the vegetarians, classics like hawaiian are always solid, and an abundance of desi flavors for the adventurous. And the sizes vary from personal 12 inches to huge party sizes at 38 inches. Aside from pizza, they serve chicken wings, cheesy/garlic bread, and mango lassis. The space is big enough for a casual dinner among family or friends as well as to host a large celebration like a birthday or graduation. They have a separate section to the side to host a private party. Just come early enough to claim the spot (it's usually open though). Indian curry pizza may no longer be exclusive to the Bay Area anymore, however, for us, Bombay was the origin of our discovery and we have made it known to family and friends visiting from afar or just from across the bay that THIS is the place to get your first taste! read more

We are a big fan of Indian pizza so had to give this place a try since the reviews were great on Yelp. This spot isn't too far from where we live, so I was able to place the order before heading there. The parking lot looked a bit sketchy and deserted but nothing alarming. You have to walk through a set of doors and down the hall to get to the restaurant. Our order was ready right when we arrived. We got the 14" half Tandoori Chicken and Chicken Tikka. They were both very flavorful and packed with a decent amount of chicken. One of them had a nice kick to it. Between the both of us we couldn't finish the 14" so it was more than enough. Bombay Pizza House introduced me to Indian pizza way back in 2011. It quickly became one of my favorite pizza spots...of ALL time. They even make standard pizzas well. Bombay is all about the seasonings and rich flavors. I can't compliment them high enough. Every single person I've recommend trying this place has become an Indian pizza convert. Each pizza I have had has been, well, the BOMBay. I have had : butter chicken, chicken tikka, chicken tandoori, and the achari. The kids love the cheese and pepperoni pizza. I've had the pepperoni as well, and I prefer it to most standard American style places. Today I finally tried the cauliflower crust pizza (with butter chicken). Delicious! The crust is of course not the same as regular dough, but it works well as the pizza-to-mouth delivery system. I will be getting it from now on as a part of my low carb efforts. Thank you, Bombay!
