This is my favorite spot for pizza. I am personally a thick slice pizza guy so if that appeals to you then try out this place. I personally put this over other bay area spots like mamas boy because you're able to customize your own slice which are in the pictures. Service is very relaxed as it is an old pizza parlor. And the historic designs on the wall shows how long people have enjoyed their food. Can't wait to come back again.

We stopped by during the Niles Spring Fever Car Show to check out my husband's friend's cars. I was expecting food trucks, but there weren't any, so the few food spots in the area were absolutely overwhelmed with the crowd. I hadn't eaten lunch, so we decided to grab pizza, but it ended up being quite the wait. When we ordered, their receipt printer wasn't working, but the guy assured us it would be fine since they had our name. About 40 minutes later, we checked back and still no pizza. After asking a few times, it was finally ready after about an hour. We ended up sitting outside on the metal lounge chairs, starving at that point, and dug into the Chicken Coupe Deluxe. The pizza itself was actually pretty solid. The crust was perfect, crispy and well done, and the cheese was generous. The chicken pieces were large and hearty. My only gripe is that it felt like it was lacking base sauce and could've used a bit more garlic for flavor. That said, the long wait definitely put a damper on the experience. It would've been nice if they acknowledged it in some small way, especially given the circumstances. Overall, the pizza is good, especially if you're into a great crust. But between the wait and the experience, we probably won't be back.

I frequently eat out in Fremont and have even lived here for a year but this was my first time at Bronco Billy's. My wife has always been wanting to take me but time never really allowed it until now. I gotta say their pizza is one of the best pizzas I've had from a local spot in a while. Fresh or as a leftover it was still good. The vibe inside matches the location of Niles where it's a little old school inside that has tables as well as bar seating. If you're ordering for to go there's a register right by the entrance. My only knock on this place was that the worker at the time questions almost all the things I said when ordering my pizzas but now that I think about it, it wasn't that big of a deal. Bronco Billy's is a staple of Fremont and now that I've finally got to try them I can definitely see why.

I'm giving this place five stars not because it's the best pizza in the world, but because it's excellent in all the ways that I care about in a local pizza joint and consistent in that. If you're looking for a reliable great pizza, this place delivers. (Figuratively speaking; they may not do actual deliveries, I ate there in person.) The place has an old-timey Wild West theme that fits the character of historic Niles perfectly. Pizzas are delivered hot and the crust has a delicious flavor with good balance - I always finish off the entire slice, no pizza bones left by me. They are very generous with the toppings and it often feels like I'm getting more pepperoni or other toppings than seems normal - it's always a bounty. Pictured is their chuck wagon pizza, their combination pizza. It was positively piled with toppings! They sell pizza by the slice, and every time we've ordered them we've gotten mini personal pizzas instead - no complaints there! Overall a fun a relaxing place for delicious pizza in a quaint historic downtown that many people don't realize is there. It's almost like finding a secret town. I'll keep coming back to Niles - and to Bronco Billy's.

Small Pepperoni Pie - actually plenty of pepperoni which just got caught in the knife cit.

While visiting the downtown Niles shops, we decided to stop into BB's for a pizza lunch. BB's was also recommended by of a family member who is a fan. This place is set up pretty well. It has a bar layout except the bar part is a counter. There are a few beers on tap and wine is available along with numerous canned beverages. We split a small pepperoni pizza. It came out quickly. The dough was very lite, fluffy and delicious, the cheese was creamy and the large diameter peperoni was full of flavor and had a bit of a cup and char flavor profile. Everyone has an opinion on what a great pizza should be and IMO this was one of the very good ones in the Bay Area. Great place run by nice folks, worth giving it a go.

Undercooked dough. That is not the cheese :(

My son was working on a school project for his cooking class, so we stopped by Bronco Billy's to order some food. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating in helping him with his project. He ordered one Chuck Wagon pizza, one pepperoni pizza, and a Bronco cheeseburger. We went right when they opened for an early lunch, so there was no wait. We were helped right away by a very sweet girl, thank you so much for the great service! Unfortunately, when we got home, both pizzas were undercooked. The Chuck Wagon was more undercooked than the pepperoni. The slices wouldn't hold up and fell apart because the dough was still very doughy, which made the pizza soggy. The pepperoni pizza is my favorite from Bronco Billy's, so this was disappointing because it's usually on point. Taste was definitely there, but I ended up having to bake both pizzas in my oven for a few more minutes. The Bronco cheeseburger was good, and my son really enjoyed it. Personally, I would have preferred a better piece of lettuce on my burger. 3.5 stars for this time.

Stepping inside feels like a throwback to yesteryear, very much in the spirit of Old Town Niles where Charlie Chaplin once worked. The place has a rustic, old-school charm with plenty of seating and a relaxed, timeless feel. We were greeted when we walked in and service was on point. We each ordered a slice. I went with pepperoni and sausage, and the slice was huge with plenty of toppings. The sausage was the perfect size not the tiny bits you get at other places and every bite stayed hot all the way through. Solid, satisfying, no-frills pizza done right. Definitely recommend. I'll be back next time I'm in the area.

    - Ambience: 4/5 I came here for lunch. The space isn't too large -- about 4 to 6 tables -- and there's also a bar counter. I like the decoration: it's vintage and very American. - Service: 4/5 There were two girls working when I arrived. The service was quick and attentive-- they grabbed me everything I needed in a timely manner. The pizza is always comes out fast. - Food: 3/5 Here's what I ordered during my two visits: 1. Slice Chuck Wagon Special (5/5): Super yummy! I'm not a big pizza hunter, but this one blew my mind. When the server brought it out, I honestly thought it was a mini whole pizza -- the portion is huge. The flavor is rich and perfectly balanced. 2. Wings (3/5): Too fatty and oily for my taste. The seasoning didn't cover all the pieces -- some were plain while others were too salty. 3. Curly fries: Pretty plain, nothing special to write home about. I also did ordered a burger, but after eating the oily wings, we couldn't finish our meal. Overall, I really love this town and the cozy decoration of this place. I'd definitely come back in the future to try something else on the menu.

It's been years since I had Bronco Billy's. The last time I dine is from a different location that's near the high school I go to, but unfortunately, they closed it. So I had to go to the one at Niles since it's closer to where I live. The place is like a bar since it's small and that 50% of the space includes furniture that relates to what the bar has. They have nice portraits that they displayed. Also, I didn't get a chance to dine here because I went during the weekend and it was full when I arrived. So I went on a Friday and it was rarely any people here. The pizza slices are between $9-15 I believe depending on how toppings that you added, but they're very big. Honestly, idk why they're called slices when they look like a whole pie except that the shape is different. A slice doesn't normally look like that, but that's fine. The pizzas are really good though, but there's slightly more bread that I tasted than their toppings. Also, the pizza crusts are crunchy and kind of hard. However, it's still a good place to eat pizza. I recommend that you come here during the weekday and for weekends, it's really tough since many people come here at that time. Otherwise, you're better off taking it to go.

The pizzas here are a 10/10! Any pizza you get will come out hot & ready to eat! The pizzas I included in the pictures are just slices make sure to share with a friend or loved one! The prices are great for a huge slice! The service here is usually good sometimes it does get packed so make sure to come with an expectation of a possible line! The style in the restaurant is western!

    Up close, chuck wagon slice.

+1 Slice of chuck wagon up close and personal. Dined in. Rare occasion. Pizza was so fresh out of the oven I had to cool it down. Waved on it the best I could with napkins. Fanned on it for a while so I could take a bite without it burning my mouth. Magnificent, scrumptious, tasty and delicious. A well balanced spread of ingredients that satisfied the appetite, Great experience. Touchy at times. Fruit punch for the drink since they didn't have Dr. Pepper. Took close ups this time because the pizza was thin crust or thinner crust than I'm used to when I usually order for pick up. Great pizza!! Their competition doesn't stand a chance unless maybe, it's from the heart. We shall see. (To be continued...)

Bronco Billy's and specifically the Niles location will always hold a special place in my heart. I grew up living on Old Canyon Road and have been smashing this pizza down ever since I was a little kid in the 90's. This place is so fun and unique, and could not be in a cooler place of town. Service has always been fantastic, even with the changing faces over the years, and the pizza remains consistent and undefeated. This pizza has always had such a unique taste, and I have found nothing like it anywhere around the country that I've been. 5 stars is such an understatement, let's call it 7 stars... I have forced countless people to try Broncos when they are in the area, and have personally taken people down to try it even though I don't even live in CA anymore. This place seriously rules and you gotta try it out, the slice is enough pizza to out you into a coma, I promise. Only way Broncos could be any better, is if they open up a shop in Reno... come on, let's do it together...

Yum pizza! Bronco Billy has solid pizzas! It's not too thick and not too thin. A good amount of toppings, crispy/doughiness to the crust. Staff are super friendly & there's lots of seating. We pre-ordered it and took it outside to the park which was perfect! I'm definitely coming back for a pizza ;)

Ask the Community - Bronco Billy's Pizza Niles

What are your gluten free options? What do you do to avoid or reduce cross contamination risks? I see u do offer gluten free pizza but is it cooked/prepared on same equipment used for gluten items?

Hi there! We offer a variety of gluten-free options on our menu, including all specialty pizzas, or you can create your own custom gluten free pizza, selecting whatever toppings you would like.…

    Are you doing indoor/outdoor dining?

Unfortunately, they no longer have outdoor seating, although they do have outdoor seating for a few special events throughout the year, such as the Niles flea market, which is the last Sunday in August.

    Gluten free options?

Yes. Gluten-free crust available only in 12" size according to their updated COVID-19 menu online.

Does there cheese have animal rennet?

    No it does not

Why are phone orders given priority? I feel like the resturant is full of people waiting to order and the staff are too busy taking phone orders.

Phone orders do not get priority. They may get taken first, but the process is to keep those tables turning for guests who are waiting. So if you order by phone and the place is packed, don't be surprised if your phone order wait time gets…

What is your favorite pizza eatery and why? Please describe, thanks.

The stage coach! It has pesto artichoke tomato chicken and garlic! It's so flavorful and it's loaded with toppings! The most popular or fan favorite is the iconic chuckwagon!

There aren't many businesses in this complex so there's always plenty of parking. I inside of the restaurant was small but had plenty of tables. It was a slow day on that weekday early dinner time. We asked to order our items for take out. We waited not too long as I remember. How was the food? Fried Calamari- for only being a couple minutes away I wonder why the calamari was already almost cold when we ate it. It was pretty disappointing. Maybe they just had it in the box while they waited for the rest of our order. I don't know. Flavor was good. Pizza Primavera - It was good, I was okay with it. The pizza dough wasn't my favorite but it was fine. White Pasta - I honestly don't remember what the name was but it was an item my bf ordered. This was terrible. Like there was too much roux to make the bechamel. It tasted of flour. Not much salt, not much of other flavors. Not enough milk and cheese and butter. He took a bite and put it down. Overall, glad we tried it but we might not be coming back. With the economy now, it's disappointing when the food is terrible for how much we pay for.

Came here on a weekday for dinner and it was mostly empty. We got the chicken parm and the margherita pizza. With the margherita pizza, the dough was obviously bought premade and frozen. It was dry and hard as expected from a premade frozen pizza dough. Not sure if the whole thing was bought frozen. There was generous amounts of cheese with one sad basil leaf of each quarter. One positive thing I can add about the pizza is that the cheese does have a satisfying flavor, giving me a nostalgic flashback to school lunch pizza. As for the pasta, the chicken has a strange taste (maybe too strong on a vodka marinade?). There was way too much sauce for the amount of pasta, and it had a very light and bright flavor, not terrible but definitely lacking depth and any nuances of aromatics or herbs. The chicken was not breaded and instead grilled. Servers were attentive, but seemed to have a lot of staff mostly standing around.
