The pizza was extremely disappointing. It was all bread. Very little cheese, sausage, and couldn't tell if there were mushrooms on it. I could see they were busy. Also, I was told it would take 50 minutes. When I got there, it took another 25 minutes to wait for the pizza. read more

I feel bad slamming a pizza place, but this was the blandest pizza I've ever had in my life. It was quite thick for a tavern-style thin crust, and there was lots of cheese on it. But the cheese didn't taste like good mozzarella, and it didn't have any "pull" whatsoever, which was odd for how much there was. The crust was thick and had no flavor. It mostly tasted like whenever you buy a pre-made crust from the grocery store and you try (and fail) to make pizza yourself. The sausage was even bland, it didn't taste Italian-y at all. Oh well. Bronko's pizza is my favorite in the area. This is one of those pizzas that you can re cook and still taste great after a few days in the fridge. I used to enjoy eating at the Crown Point location years ago. Imagine my surprise when I realized there was still a location open in Hebron! I was just able to get out there today and the taste is just as amazing today as it was years ago. A great trip down memory lane! Will definitely get it again! Fresh everything ingredients. Pizza crust has changed and the sauce didn't seem as thick but in Hebron it's not a bad pizza.

Bronko's name and product has been a regional staple for my family since it's days of the Broadway/Gary location. I remember eating at that one all the way until it closed. After that, the Crown Point location was the place to get your fix. Saddened after the CP location closed, I had no idea there was one in Hebron until someone mentioned it. The pizza tastes as good as it did when I was a kid 25 years ago basic menu. No frills pies. Just sauce, cheese, and your choice of toppings cut in their signature rectangle slices. The only ground sausage pizza I eat and enjoy. they pile the pepperoni and you get some nice oil with a good cheese pull. I left for college in 1997 and have not lived in Indiana since but I cannot visit without eating Bronko's and taking one back to Texas with me.
