Delicious wings. Great recipe. But I ordered "hot" and these were absolutely not. I also don't mind reheated food in a pizzeria, but the wings tasted reheated. They were nicely plated. The blue cheese was just as I prefer, tasty and chunky on the bottom. I liked the hollow cannoli that that was free for completing a survey. It was hollow, but what filling was there was great. And the cannoli had a very nice crispness. The wings were tiny, but they did give 10 instead of 8. If I do return, it won't be for "hot" wings. I might try the pizza. read more

We had a bad experience awhile ago so we used other places. Today after 7 hour drive home the family wanted Bronx house. We ordered, a few minutes later we said we need two pizzas so we placed a second order. We hate that they now use a delivery service but you can't complain via them. Last time we were missing an item, no refund. This time we only hit one of the orders. Driver did not speak English but used Google Translate to say he tried to tell them he needed both orders but they sent him away. I called and they said he left the 2nd order. He said he'd go back. Server was very earnest, working hard, hustling. Didn't miss a beat though. Ambience is pretty nonexistent. We came a Friday night around 7pm. The place was not packed at this time but around about 7:30, people started standing waiting for tables since the restaurant is a bit on the smaller side. We were able to get a booth before it got packed and the waitress was nice and quick with our order. We got The Beast, which she said was the most popular pizza on the menu. The atmosphere is nice and the staff is friendly, but not even that can save this crap food. The beast of Burden Pizza- was anything but a beast. A whopping 10 pepperoni pieces, Canned sauce, and the meatballs looked like crumpled cat food... The fried ravioli was straight from the freezer and tasted like ... well.. toasted nothingness. Stopped by this past Friday with my wife for lunch while in Daytona. We arrived about 12:30 pm, they had plenty of parking, they were not busy and the tables were clean. We were seated right away and Kimmy, took our drink orders and allowed us time to peruse the menu. They have a good-sized menu; however, we both decided on Calzones with a spinach one for her and meat for me. It took about 15-20 minutes for the food to arrive, but were hot and fresh. The calzones were pretty big, so if you are not a big eater; maybe order one for two people, as you can get them to order. The food was good, but nothing which would bring upon an extraordinary response with the flavor. Real Italian food does use Ricotta cheese; however, I am not a fan, as it is sort of a contradiction with the texture of the food and when I brought the remaining half home, just gave it to my wife, as it does not reheat well. Kimmy did a great job checking on us and refilling our drinks, but stood at the other end of the counter joking with the cooks, while I waited to check out at the register. The prices were good and they did have a military discount, which made it even better, but as with all things, something had to ruin it. The business charges a 2.9% credit card transaction fee. Florida law (Statute 501.0117) prohibits businesses from adding surcharges for credit card use, but this ban is largely unenforceable due to federal court rulings making it unconstitutional. The issue I have is businesses are allowed to write off the fees they are charged by credit card companies as "ordinary and necessary", so why double dip by charging the customer for using a credit card and then writing it off in their taxes. It's just another way of charging extra without raising the prices on the menu. If you do decide to stop by and give them a try, the only thing I would recommend is to bring cash! read more

My husband and I decided to try Bronx House Pizza last night having it delivered. They have had some good reviews so we wanted to order pizza from them. We ordered a large build you own New York style with sausage, onion and peppers on it. It did arrive on time with what they had said but unfortunately the pizza was very cold. Even after we heated it there was nothing special about it. I don't believe we will try again, there was nothing about it that would make us want to try again, just a so so pizza. read more

My mom was super excited last year that s a pizzeria opened boasting " New York style pizza" This year I made it a point to take her so we could try this pizza and see for ourselves. Well drumroll please because the pizza was quite delicious !! We both had a popeye slice which was overly generous with ricotta and mozzarella cheese. The staff was really attentive and helpful. We started with the garlic knots- OMG...so good. We both ordered the meat calzone which was loaded meatball, pepperoni, sausage, ham and bacon- and cheeses. MADE TO ORDER!! LOL Thought it might be overwhelming, but had to give it a try. Really good. Ended with the chocolate chip cannoli. I officially can't walk out of here. They just need to offer wine! Hubs likes the pizza but everything is good. Have ordered the cauliflower pizza several times. It's okay, if you like crackerish thin crust but all the other pizzas are fantastic! This time around I was told 20 mins after I placed the order for pick up. Got a text after I hung up 20-30 wait time. In 13 mins I get a text my order was ready?! Come on. So it can now sit? I pick up my orders anywhere to make sure it's correct and fresh. To be told double a wait time and the food come out in half the time ensure it sits. This isn't difficult at most pizza shops. Again, I pick up our food the pizza box isn't hot. The pizza was just a little warmer than last visit. I want my food hot and fresh at the time I am told it will be ready. This location just can't seem to get it right. Their price points are way too high for sub par , warm-ish food. One time it can be an off night. Few days later another missed opportunity. Bronx house is finally here!!!! If your not familiar with Bronx house than you should be!! This is their first location in Palm Coast/Flagler county with the next one opening in the Hammock soon. We attending the soft opening tonight and the restaurant is gorgeous, the decor is so well done and well themed. The staff was fantastic and welcoming!! We decided to get an appetizer and a different type of one for an Italian restaurant. The boogie down which consist of Well cooked French fries with brown gravy, bacon, mozzarella and American cheese. These fries were hot and delicious and highly recommend trying them out. As for dinner we of course tried the pizza called the Big al. The pizza was thin and crispy with pepperoni, banana peppers and sausage. The pizza was awesome and would definitely order again but next time I need to try the chicken parm sub since those are usually my go to! Bronx house is located in the new airport commons across from wawa and definitely is a must go or order delivery when you can.
