Loved Giovanni's pizza and salad! It was our first trip to Flagler Beach and we chose Giovanni's because they have fountain Coke which is the best tasting Coke to us. Ordered a Sicilian at 8pm.. Grubhub said it would be around 20-30 min. We popped in at 20 min mark and the woman at the counter told my husband 10 more min. No prob. We waited 10 min then brought the pizza home 5 min away. It was freezing cold, had almost no sauce on it a the cheese wasn't completely melted? Not a great first impression unfortunately! We brought it to the staff's attention, but there was no apology or effort to make things right. It felt like our concern was brushed off, which really took away from the experience. We have ordered from this local place several times. Everyone is friendly and the food is ok. We picked up a pizza this afternoon that was less than appetizing, the crust was burnt and raw at the same time (how does that happen?) plus it smelled rancid. We looked at it, my husband took a few bites and we threw it in the trash. I really would like to support small businesses, but $30 is a lot of money to throw in the trash. We absolutely LOVE Giovanni's, we vacation in the area frequently and always stop here to eat. When I say always, I mean it, every single vacation we come here AT LEAST once, sometimes more. They have some of the best pizza we have ever had, and we will continue to go out of our way to visit. The owner has always been so great every time. This most recent visit we totally thought they closed at 10PM, but once we got there we found out they closed at 9PM on Thursdays. They still took care of us and we got our pizza one of our last nights in town. Definitely a place I'd recommend to anyone who wants a good experience and the best food! I was in town visiting for work and I had a taste for pasta. I seen some good reviews for this restaurant and thought ok, I'm going to try them. I was not satisfied at all. This was bad. Normally I'd try to be positive but this wasn't close. The woman working there even seen that I wasn't happy with the meal asked if there was something she could do and I said it's dry but yet it's wet. There's no sauce it's mostly water so she offered to bring me more sauce that didn't help as you can see in the pictures. It was very runny like the noodles were not drain properly, and the sauce was very thin. There was no attempt to correct this with me so I paid my bill and walked out. read more

This place is great for some lunch while spending the day in Flagler Beach, FL. They have great lunch deals, plenty of options, and great service. We went there for lunch while we were in Flagler and got pizza, garlic knots, and soda. The woman working was very nice and the pizza and garlic knots were great! Perfectly seasoned and the perfect beach day meal. They have both canned soda as well as a soda machine. The inside of this place has such cool murals and decorations. I was not expecting that from the outside! There are places to sit inside- not outside but just take it to the beach and eat it there if you want to eat outside! It's like a 3 minute walk from the beach. There is parking outside, and lots of signs to help you find it. I will visit again when I am back in Flagler! read more

The staff are friendly however the food needs major improvement. The pizza was horrible and thrown with some tomatoes pieces and olive oil as margarita pizza. Garlic knots tasted as if someone had brought dinner rolls from Costco and placed some garlic and Parmesan cheese. I have to say, they need to redo their pizza dough recipe. I can make better pizza at home. We had ordered the tiramisu, it came out half defrosted and some parts frozen. I'm sure this was not made in the kitchen and must have come from a third party vendor. It did have the right flavor. My suggestion, start revamping the place, there's a lot to clean up. The restroom did not have any liquid soap but they placed water in it. This restaurant needs to be taken up on the show-restaurant:impossible. I could do better cooking and even presenting the food. The cheese on the pizza needs to be changed as well. We were here for spring break. We thought the food was very good especially for the price. The owner came out and talked to us and was very nice. Nice little place with good pizza. We were in the mood for pizza and hadn't been here in a while so decided to try it especially since they have delivery. We order two pizzas one pepperoni black olives and one and sausage onion. Both of the pizzas I have to say were very good. They are both still very hot when they got here and they had just the right amount of sauce and toppings. I have to say it was one of the best pizzas I have had in awhile. An I love that fact it's so close to the house. I highly recommend trying their pizza. The spinach was like canned low salt flavorless junk thrown on after the pizza was supposedly cooked. Disgusting. We ordered garlic knots, which had very little garlic, tasteless, and like they were leftover from last week. We ordered the Hawaiian pizza, also way undercooked, disgusting. I feel like I am wasting my time even reviewing this terrible restaurant. Beware. $99 down the tubes. Lesson learned. Don't invite your out of town family to a restaurant that you haven't experienced previously. I never post reviews. I'm sure the pizza is really good there, but yesterday I ordered 2 large pizzas and 12 garlic knots for delivery at Beverly Beach campground, told the gentleman on the phone twice what site we were in and a description of my RV and my Jeep parked behind it. He said please give him s 45 minutes, I said that's fine. We called back twice after an hour with No pizza. Finally the pizza showed up at least 30 minutes late and was totally cold. Sorry, that's not cool. Should have called me back and said it's running late, we will make fresh pizzas. That would have been the proper thing to do. Been reading amazing reviews about this local favorite and decided to try them tonight. Well, $40 just went into the garbage, and not to mention having to drive back 20 minutes to the restaurant because they gave us naked wings instead of the mild wings that were ordered, and forgot the garlic knots. The woman on the phone said they would replace the wings, when we arrived there was a watered down cup of mild sauce to add to the wings we had picked up earlier. When we got home and tried to eat the food just tasted awful. We usually eat at Tony's up the road and we will go back to being a loyal customer there. I could completely understand if the restaurant was busy, but we were the only ones there. I hope this was just a bad day in the kitchen and we were the customer that ended up with the food that wasn't as great as normal. Better luck in the future!! read more
