Our server was on point as usual, took our drink order which was Cabernet Sauvignon wine for both of us. When he brought our drinks we ordered our food which was Bang Bang Shrimp, Chefs roll of choice, Manhattan roll and Mexican roll. The outdoor dining was great with the sun shining. We received the Bang Bang Shrimp first, which was big and delicious (still not sure how they are able to prepare as a circle). The rolls were brought out in a unique dragon platter. I don't know what the Chef's Choice was but it was absolutely delicious, it had avocado and cream cheese but not sure if tuna or salmon with masago on top. Came to the European Village and stumbled upon this place. They have a small inside and some patio space. Very friendly staff and seemed like a hole in the wall. Ordered sushi and chicken teriyaki. The sushi quality surprised me! The salmon tasted very fresh and the shrimp tempura was nice and crispy. I loved this place and wish I came back for another night. Came here for a last minute date with my wife and we enjoyed it. The sign told us to go in to be seated. The person who greeted us has no personality but let us choose where we wanted to sit. I originally thought she was our waitress. So after she sat us as I asked for water she walked away and never got the water. Then this guy came over and introduced himself as our server where it all made sense. The server was amazing! He noticed we ordered all veggie options so brought to our attention which items we ordered in our meals that had animal products. We were impressed with his care and awareness of not eating meat. He went above and beyond to take care and provide information for us! We ordered a few sushi rolls and veggie hibachi and the food was great! The best part was the food didn't taste salty just flavorful! The only thing I'd say was our dirty dishes didn't get picked up quick but I saw a bucket holding dirty dishes so we placed them in their instead of sitting in front of us. Food came out pretty quick and tasted fresh. Overall experience was pretty good! We would go back again. Though be aware if you sit outside and eat you will also enjoy the smell of smoke in the air and maybe even some live music. read more

This is located in the European Village. We sat inside because it was pretty steamy outside. Not a lot of room on the inside for seating but we had a family of 7 and no issues around 6:30 pm. My girlfriend went to eat dinner tonight. When her standard sushi role came out and the waiter went to put the plate down on the table the following occured. A live quite large roach crawled from under the plate over it. The waiter quickly pulled the plate back and apologized.
