We came here because it was probably one of the only restaurants in town that was open on Labor Day. Michelin service at a mediocre restaurant. Lackluster food, salty soups, musty and dark environment. Restaurant with low ceilings, musty and moldy stench like dining in an old basement from the 70's. Truly no ambiance whatsoever. Crab cakes salty with a lot of filler. Tip: salad dressing even for the garden salad comes premixed with a Caesar type of cheese infused mixture. The balsamic vinaigrette seems processed with a preservative aftertaste. We had to ask for olive oil and balsamic vinegar instead. Thank God for Caitlin- the only valuable asset we came across during our lunch. She was professional, kind and attentive from beginning to end. She asked a colleague for a hand and was ignored but heroically she multitasked and handled several tables simultaneously with patience and dignity. Unfortunately we cannot recommend this restaurant despite the perfect service. The food and atmosphere were very substandard. We usually take photos of our food but this is probably one of the few times we didn't. read more

One of the best Carrabba locations I've been to in a while. We stopped in on this past New Years Eve evening and despite the fact that the restaurant was slammed, thanks to call ahead seating we only had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated. I have a "usual" order that I go with and this visit was no different. fter inhaling a basked of fresh bread and oil/vinegar I enjoyed my chicken soup and Chicken David entree. Both are always delicous choices and this evening was no expcetion. New this this time I did try their seasonal side offering of the cacio y pepe raviolli. It wasn't bad but it was unfortunately underwhelming both flavorwise and texture wise. Every staffer we interacted with was awesome and gave our request or question prompt attention (again-despite being a busy NYE). Hannah was our server and I can't sing her praises highly enough. Despite being a new team member she handled the evening's busy nature and her section like a boss! She made sure our table had everything we needed and then some for the duration of our visit. As a general rule, I try to avoid chain/franchise establishments BUT Carrabba's is one of the few exceptions I make because you can typically count on a positive experience when in doubt with other nearby choices. This visit to the Palm Coast location in Florida for the the first time was no different and as a said, one of the better locations I've been to in. a while. The last two visits everything has been very good and worth bragging about! From our server and her attention to detail! Kayly really helped elevate our experience! She exemplifies great service! Shoutout to the mgr and bartenders here too! The calamari appetizer is always delicious! I love the Ricardo lemon pepper sauce! The Calabrian chicken wings are amazing! The dipping sauce has a hint of blue cheese! It's not overwhelming and if you're not a super blue cheese person you will most likely love it! They were crispy and delicious! They do a happy hour from 4-7! I definitely recommend the value and menu! Its a smaller menu and smaller portion, but same quality and flavor you expect from Carrabbas! One hidden star is the crab cakes! I wouldn't have expected them to be so delicious, but they definitely were! I would return here and choose this over a seafood restaurant! One thing about eating at Carrabbas is their large appetizer portions! You can easily accompany with a side and leave completely satisfied! This was what we did with the crab cakes. We got two per order! These crab cakes were not on the Happy Hour menu, but definitely worth it! It's apparent they have an amazing staff and mgmt. It's very beautiful and welcoming when you walk in! My Johhny Rocco Salad was perfectly dressed, but there was one issue and they promptly corrected. This is where you wanna return, because you get good treatment if there is an issue. It leaves a good taste in your mouth, literally! So many good choice to enjoy here! We love the soups, salads and appetizers and sides! We will be back! read more

Poor customer service.....! The lady that seated us never said a word to us. Took all the extra items off the table without saying anything to us. We sat for 20 to 25 minutes without any kind of acknowledgement whatsoever. Couple waitresses went by without saying a word to us.. so we got up and left. No one noticed. The girl at the front desk looked right at it and said nothing. Won't be back for a long time specially, after you're taking out all the lunch specials. read more

Very nice dinner tonight at Carrabbas. Service was very friendly and efficient. Ambiance is as expected from Carrabbas: casual but nice. I do wish restaurants had more comfortable booths with some lumbar support. So many, including this restaurant have such straight backs that I find them uncomfortable after sitting for awhile. We got a nice complimentary tiny appetizer of prosciutto, cheese and fig jam which was a pleasant surprise. I got the the new branzino with pesto with a side of penne. The penne was good, the branzino was tasty but a little over cooked and dry. Hubby got the sirloin with asparagus and mashed and all was good. Overall a nice dinner. read more

My wife and i stopped by for lunch today (we did not stay to eat) here's why: Hostess(young blonde girl)never greeted us, took is to a booth, put menus on table and left without a word. We sat there 20 plus minutes, servers walking by constantly not acknowledging us at all. Note: they were not crowded at all. We got up and left, hostess didn't say a word as we walked out. We agreed never to go back under present management. We went across the street to Houligan's and had a nice meal. read more

Different town and week later, we decided to go one more time to eat at Carrabba's Italian Grill restaurant. This premise in the Palm Coast was less classy than previous one in Ocala, but this time we had a great service and food was traditionally good. As I mentioned before Carrabba's offer a very generous portion size. Soups are a very tasty and a great choice when the outside is a cold. We enjoyed and comparing to the other places is reasonably inexpensive. read more

Hubby and I haven't been to Carrabba's Restaurant in a while and decided to check out the one close to home. It did not disappoint! The atmosphere was welcoming and easy. Our server, Anthony, was so courteous, attentive, and friendly. I had the Caprese Sandwich and for our appetizer was calamari, which was prepared excellently! Light, hot, and crunchy with two sauces on the side. Hubby had the Minestrone soup with sausage . His main course was Rigatoni Martino (means sausage added). Overall, we enjoyed the food, wine, and atmosphere! Did not feel rushed either. We will be back and recommend to our friends. read more

Went with a group of 12 last night for our Christmas get together. Everyone was very pleased. I started with a Lemon Drop Martini. I am a bit particular about them and this did not disappoint me. It was made very well. Our server did a very good job handling a large group. My dinner was the Rigatoni Ala Forno. The portion size was enormous. I will have two more meals from that. Went last month for a family dinner and the waitress was exceptional. My mother forgot her glasses and the waitress sorry I forgot her name offered her glasses so my mom could order. Carrabba's Italian Classico trio: Chicken Parmesan - breading burnt and soggy especially on the bottom - clearly was made well in advanced then reheated topped with a slice of mozzarella cheese which wasn't even melted. Sauce was very acidic. The same sauce was used in the Lasagna which was basically a pile of overcooked noodles and highly acidic tomato sauce layered with a ground meat which provided a unexpected (and highly off putting crunchy texture ) which brings us to the final offering of the three..... The Alfredo pasta. This was the only edible dish of the three given the choice Kraft Mac and cheese and the Alfredo noodles here. I would have rather went with the boxed Mac and cheese and saved the money on the gas it took to get there. The ambiance was nice. The servers were friendly and the meal was comped. read more

We attended the October wine dinner and it was excellent! The food, pairings and service were top notch. However, the state of the restaurant was another matter. The part of the restaurant that the dinner was held was dirty, dusty and generally had a feeling of being neglected. The bathrooms were atrocious!!! Urine smell in both men's and women's bathrooms as soon as entering with paper towels and toilet paper overflowing the receptacles and scattered all over the floor. It would be very difficult to go back to that restaurant as the lack of cleaning is terrible! read more

Lunch at Carrabba's. The lunch specials offered were frankly pretty blah and overpriced. We opted for soup & salad for $9.99. Kinda pricey, but we decided to reserve judgment until we finished our lunch. The server brings you a relatively small plated serving - no large bowl to share like at Olive Garden. Extra helpings come out the same way. No tomatoes and ultra-thin shaved carrot discs and no onions or cucumbers seemed odd. The house salad dressing is creamy Italian and both of us found it satisfactory The soup - nah, not so much. One of us ordered Minestrone; the other Mama's spicy chicken soup. My companion said her all-veggie Minestrone was ok. But Mama's spicy chicken was just a watery broth with pepper as the dominant spice and very small portions of shredded chicken. No pasta, no veggies, nothing but minuscule shreds of stringy chicken in a much too-thin broth. Comparing Carrabba's soup & salad to Olive Garden's soup & salad made us realize OG is the clear winner. Olive Garden just does a better job all the way around with everything. We doubt we'll be returning to Carrabba's at lunchtime. Judging by the small lunch crowd at 12:30, the Palm Coast locals have decided the same thing. Save Carrabba's for dinner. Look elsewhere if you want a hearty and satisfying lunch. read more

Yesterday, I called Carrabbas in Palm Coast and spoke to Lauren. What a pleasure it was to speak with her. I explained that it was my husband and my anniversary. She took my information for a call ahead. She was so sweet and is such an asset to your company. We were greated by caring staff and that means a lot. Our server, Vinny was excellent. He was a joy to speak with. We were also happy to meet Nicole and then the chef, Danielle. The lamb chops and the ribeye steak were both delicious. All are such an asset to your company. OMG! Looking at the recent reviews, I thought the quality at our Carrabba's had taken a nosedive, but happily--IT HAS NOT! Sometimes I have to wonder if people go out to eat, loaded with a grudge and just looking for things to complain about. We went last night, looking to try the bar menu, but went full bore instead (IDK why all the gun references, but I'm "taking aim" at all the complainers & low-eaters)! LOL For starters, we've always enjoyed their bread and olive oil dip. We STILL do. I ordered a cocktail, since we sat bar adjacent. The Pomegranate Martini did NOT disappoint. But, I ordered it in a tall glass with ice, because that's just the way I am. Next--our favorite app of all time: Carrabba's fried calamari--as good as, if not better than, I remember, with the two dipping sauces-a sweet tomato sauce and a lemon, butter, pepper sauce! I prefer the latter, which accented the calamari PERFECTLY! Even though I have a dairy allergy, I decided to throw my stomach problems to the fates! It was too YUM! We did not wind up ordering off the bar menu, I don't know why I thought we would. My husband ordered the Shrimp and Scallops Fettuccine a la Vodka. He found it excellent, although he couldn't finish it, because, of course he ordered too much. I ordered the Scallops Spiedino di Mare, which are lightly breaded, with a lemon butter sauce and wood-fire grilled. They were remarkable. (Again, I took my chances with the butter.) They, also, offer shrimp, or shrimp & scallops. I had a side of sautéed spinach (with garlic), also excellent--fresh, perfectly prepared, and tasty. The other side I chose was the Sicilian chicken noodle soup, with, it seemed, an entire chicken breast, shredded in my bowl--there was a lot of chicken. Again, so delicious, but more like a stew than a soup. No complaints here. My husband got the sausage and lentil soup. He loved it, although he wasn't as enamored of it being so thick, with little, to no, broth. We had no room left for dessert, needless to say, but we rarely do; aside from the fact that my husband is diabetic and I have the dairy allergy. All in all, the service was good--I think we'll sit in the bar area from now on. It's less crowded and more intimate. Absolutely, no complaints, here and we would HIGHLY recommend! read more

Had the chicken Marsala . Ordered with a side of angel hair/marinara . Got the chicken with angel hair in Marsala . It was the worst marsala sauce I've ever had . Tasted like butter . Couldn't eat the pasta . They brought a side of pasta with angel hair in marinara. Best part of the meal. So disappointed. read more
