This is by far my favorite tanning salon in St. Louis. I went here after purchasing the Yelp Deal a few months ago and have been going back ever since. The location is perfect and parking is easy, with a private lot located just behind the building so I never have trouble finding a spot. The salon itself is always clean and super friendly. This is one of the few places I've been to where the staff makes an effort to learn your name and gives you a cheerful, personal welcome each time. The beds are great and have given me no trouble in maintaining my ideal color. You can choose from their Level 1, 2, or 3 and they offer a wide variety of packages and reasonably priced single-visits to suit everyone's needs. With most of their packages, not only do you get unlimited monthly access to the bed but they'll also throw in a discount on lotions and occasional upgrades. Plus they constantly seem to be having some kind of promotion going on, so I always feel like I'm getting a great deal. As for lotions, the staff has been incredibly helpful every time I want to make a new purchase. They're all very knowledgeable about each lotion type and brand and never try to force a sale. The lotions they stock are all top-rated and mostly Designer Skin. Honestly, I couldn't be happier with this salon and if you're looking to visit, be sure to check out the deals on their website! Thrilled with this tanning salon. I was so worried that when I moved back to St. Louis I wouldn't be able to find a good salon that isn't outrageous in price. Hollywood Tan and all that jazz is great, if you want to pay out the ass every tan or every month. If you buy a 3 month package, tanning is only $20 a month and the beds are really nice. There is never a wait and the staff is all super friendly. I've only been going for a week or two and they already know my name. That's good customer service. The only downside would be parking. The garage in the back is super tiny and I believe they share that garage with the restaurants and tenets in the building as well. So I have been on the look out for a good tanning salon. I went to Beach House Bronze in the Brentwood area and was not impressed. I wanted to tan sunday and they did not open until noon so I went on yelp and found Bronze Tan. This place is my absolute favorite salon so far!! Its cheery and clean and bright inside. The beds are hig-end and not janky. They have actual working buttons and the bulbs dont flicker. The rooms are really nice and they provide a full length mirror. I did a level 2 and immediately saw a difference. The girl at the front was also very friendly and did not sound like a salesman and push a membership down your throat. She actually knew what she was talking about when I asked her questions about the beds The prices are also very reasonable. I did not get a package or membership deal . I spent $10 on a single session. A level 1 is $7. This place is soooooooooo much better than Beach House Bronze. read more

Hands down THE BEST tanning salon in St. Louis. I've been to several places around St. Louis and have never been satisfied with the beds, customer service, prices or salon itself. At Bronze Tan the staff are extremely friendly and seem genuinely glad you're there. The manager or owner (basically the only guy in the place) is quite possibly the friendliest person I've met and even remembers your name when you come in. I was given an extensive tour of the salon, run down of the packages & prices in detail on my first visit. If you opt for the 3 month commitment you can tan for only $20 a month! While they have several options of UV & UV Free tanning, I've only used Level 1 beds. I saw great results in a week and by the time my month package was up I looked like I had just spent a month on a beach. The beds are high end and the salon is always clean. I would usually go in the evenings after 6PM or 7PM and can always find a spot on the street or in the free parking lot behind the building. I LOVE the online booking feature that lets you pick a day, a time, and the person who will be helping you! Really, really great for people like me who don't particularly care for making appointments over the phone. Super clean. I'm used to places in the south.... Usually where I'm from you clean the bed yourself when you go in, just in case the person before you didn't do a stellar job, and again after you finish. Bronze tan cleans the beds for you (so much more hygienic!), and super well, which is really nice. The beds are also really strong. If you are pale as a ghost, like me, and burn really easily, also like me, start out doing 6-8.5 minutes. Anything over 8.5 and I burn. This is compared to normal or weaker beds where you often have to start at 10-12 minutes. They have a Groupon special for one month unlimited level one tanning, and it's a good deal. I haven't been to a lot of salons but this is my favorite out of maybe 6 or 8 I've graced with my pale presence. I am time poor so I go for that mega/ultra beds, they have a couple of the really high-end ones. I think two or so is pretty typical. What I like is you can buy sessions as opposed to just time. So you can buy five sessions and use them whenever you want as opposed to getting a two week run or whatever. Plus I really like the two high-end beds that I used and everything inside is superclean including the bathroom. The other places I've used in the area have been in Clayton and Brentwood and the prices here are much lower. And finally the staff is cool and helpful. It's a tanning bed place so I'm not sure what else to say. Check it out of you need some color. read more

Once I got in the room, the machine was explained to me very well and the actual process was very quick. Tan looks pretty good for a spray booth. Note: it's organic! I'm a fake tan junkie- I've tried a bunch of at home products, booths, and airbrush tans. I made a last minute appointment online for that same day. The girl at the front desk and the one who sprayed me were very informative and helpful. I got the Venetian color and it's hands down the best looking tan I've ever had. The beds are good, pricing is comparable to all tanning salons, general staff is polite. However, I cannot recommend this store as a trustworthy establishment. The very first time I tanned here, I was in between meetings and in a rush. I needed to tan for an upcoming trip. I paid for my purchase and went into my room to tan. Before applying my lotion, I removed my two rings. Two rings that are invaluable to my family, and real silver and diamonds. Again, I was coming from work. When my time was up I jumped out of the bed, got dressed, and left. I had barely made it out of the parking lot and realized that I had forgotten my rings. I called them immediately. A girl answered and said that someone else was already in the room, and that she would check the room for my rings when she was done, then call me back. I trusted her, and went home to jump on my meeting. I only live a block away, literally. I shouldn't of left my rings, I should have turned around, I should have had my rings insured. Because I never saw them again. The worker I spoke to never called me back. So the next day I went in and asked a different employee that was working if they had heard/seen anything. It turned out this person was the manager. He wasn't mean, but he doubted me from the get go. He explained that he trusts his employees, and nobody would steal. I hadn't even gone there yet, I more so thought that the person who tanned after me had taken them, if they were stolen. He then proceeded to tell me that he had excellent cameras at the front desk, and that he was going to check his video to see if I was even wearing rings. I was so offended. He was not concerned with helping me find my missing valuables at all. He immediately discredited what happened to me. So, we ended the conversation with the manager telling me he would call me after he watched the video. He never called. I had to keep calling every day and then I had to catch him in the store again before I had another chance to talk to him. In a way, I realized that it was a good thing he was going to watch his camera footage, maybe he would see my rings going in with me, then out wit someone else. But he never did watch the videos. It's my fault for not being more responsible. But I would rather give my money to a service that employs quality employees. I'm sick over losing my rings, but I guess life lesson. read more

I haven't been in a few months, but I've spent probably $200 with Bronze Tan. I've used a couple of tanning places elsewhere, and the friendliness and customer service have been exceptional. Better yet, the prices are fair, the beds are very modern, the place is cleaned and maintained very well, and there is *very* rarely a wait for beds. I know that if I had 15 minutes from the time I parked and wanted to tan for 12, I could almost certainly make it if I hustle. Even the check-in and accounting system is speedy. The staff are friendly, surprisingly smart for tanning salon employees :), and not surprisingly, attractive. I rarely find a weak, much less dead, bulb. There *have* been a couple of occasions where a male employee (the owner I was told?) made me wait for 5-10 minutes while he finished introducing the place and its prices to a prospective customer. That is my only work-on for them: I just want to get in and get out, and all I need is for you to look up my last name and give me a room number. This transaction would last 15 seconds and you could talk to the new customer as long as you like without losing an existing customer. An employee did tell me that the owner does care very much about BT's perception, and that he/she freaks at even 4-star reviews. I like that. So despite this fixable issue, I give this a 5. It is a top-notch tanning experience, particularly in light of my past experience with tanning salons, which typically feature entitled staff, dead bulbs, dirty beds, and long waits in overlit lobbies. I would only recommend Bronze Tan in STL. read more

Staff can be unprofessional. I use the Mystic spray tan. When I got there, the woman on duty made me wait while she went to clean a booth I didn't even ask for. After 10 mins she came back and realized I use Mystic. She then tells me the lotion dispenser may be malfunctioning because "another customer told me it was." So then why didn't you fix or replace it? Sure enough, when I got in the booth and undressed. It didn't work. That aside, I do like the tan quality, but the dye gets on my sheets and clothes. The room has one stool in it which is too small and high to sit on and put on your shoes. read more

My spray tanning company that I have been going to for 5 years recently closed due to covid. I know first world problems, but I sprayed every week and it is something that just makes me feel better about myself. I called bronze tan and spoke to the manager(owner) and he was amazing. He talked to me about all of the different options and got me on the schedule for the next day. I had my spray yesterday and was very nervous. I woke up today SO PLEASED! I might even like the color better than what I was getting before....The girl who sprayed me was so sweet, and listened to exactly what I wanted. Vanessa was my artist and she made me feel so comfortable and made sure I knew how to maintain my color. Booked a 20 min Airbrush Tan via online. The "professional" spent 6 minutes total with me. 4 minutes spraying and 2 minutes messing with barrier cream/fan. By far the worse airbrush I've ever received anywhere. The tan looks incredibly sloppy. Id recommend going anywhere else in STL, it couldn't get worse. read more
