I am a big fan of Bronzes in Pleasanton so when I saw BT2 open up in CV I was excited to try. Finally went it Friday afternoon. Very clean space, small but functional. Extremely friendly Male and Female Employees. I'm not sure if they are the owners? I Walked up to the counter and ordered the chicken soup. There was no size option that I saw. I forgot to ask for corn tortillas but luckily that's what I received. Chips were self serve and were tasty and had crunch. The salsa was not out so I asked for the Green which they brought to my Table. The flavor was just OK. Both brought my soup accompanied by a plate with the tortillas, onion/cilantro. The cost was near & $18.00. I was surprised by the small portion. There were two pieces of chicken (ok protein size) but it was dry, a two large cut green zucchini pieces and a small potato cut in half. I wanted to Like the soup but it lacked flavor. I might give it a few months and try again. I'm a soup person so that's what I would Order.

    Muah!! Perfecto!

Tried the food here a few weeks ago and it was good. The chips were stale, but the fajitas and burrito were good. Service was great.

I ordered three tacos and refried beans: *Tripas - this is one of my go too and the way I measure a great taco place, though a lot of places are overly crispy or overtired and oily. This might be my favorite tripas that I've had *Lengua - delicious and perfectly tender. This is my other go to, and my absolute favorite meat *Cabeza - this was fine, definitely very tender I feel like I have to go back because I ordered regular tacos, and my friend ordered the vampiro tacos (basically with fried gooey cheese), and she said hers were delicious, and I definitely want to try that!

Mainly due to my dad being hospitalized around the corner but each night we have come and tried different entrees and all have hit the mark. We have had their quesibirrias which are large and flavorful, the super burritos with a generous portion of meat, green enchiladas and great ratios of everything else. Ate so fast we forgot to take pictures. We have also had their street lengua tacos and while these were good they needed a touch more salt but were plentiful. They have a nice selection of agua frescas from pineapple to Horchata to Jamaica and Coke fountain products. Their chips are fresh tasty and free with plenty of salsas to satisfy every spice tolerance level from mild to hot! Finally we tried the churros which I dare say were a bit dangerous (must try but full of sweetness) so only had one! The location is modest in decor and size but a warm and friendly environment with a TV with the latest games on make up for anything modern. If you want to come and enjoy a great straight forward Mexican meal this is your spot!

My wifes chicken taco had plenty of chicken and she said it was ok. The chile relleno was thickly battered and a bit bland. My Molcajetes had beef, chicken, chorizo and shrimp. The only thing edible was the shrimp. The chorizo was hard and dry. The beef was literally like chewing on leather. Over cooked and dry as sawdust, I had quite a time just cutting it into bite sized pieces. Unedible! The chicken was not much better. The server asked if everything was ok. I calmly told him no and what the issue was. I said I will pay for it but you can throw it away. He offered something that I couldn't understand what he said and I said to get rid of it, I don't want it. Didn't offer to reduce or remove the cost. I usually roll with it when things aren't great but this needed to be addressed. As expensive as things are restaurants can't rest on their laurels. You had better be on your "A" game or you will be out of buisness. I literally do not want mexican food in my future for some time based on our experience at this restaurant. -5 stars.

When we walked in, there was only one person handling everything--taking orders, working the register, and serving food. At first, we thought it was a semi self-service setup, so we ordered at the counter and then found a seat. My husband ordered the steak breakfast, but the steak was unbelievably thin. I got the super burrito, which was not "super" at all--the portion was smaller compared to other Mexican places, and the flavor was pretty bland. We spent about $46 in total, including tax and tip. At least we got to try a place my husband had been curious about, but unfortunately, it's not somewhere we'd come back to.

Everything was plated beautifully and served quickly without feeling rushed. We also had the pleasure of meeting Miriam, the restaurant manager, who went above and beyond to take care of us. Her warm hospitality really made our evening special and turned a great dinner into a wonderful overall experience. We're already looking forward to coming back and trying more of the delicious dishes on the menu. Casa del Toro is definitely one of our new go-to places to dine! Highly recommended!

Not a lot of taco spots are open late at 10p but I saw that PNT was open. My family and I pulled into the driveway and were confused because it looked and sounded like a bar. There were a few people standing outside and I asked if this was a bar or restaurant and the gentleman said it's a restaurant. We walk in and got some stares because it was late and we had kids. Didn't matter to us. Everything on the menu sounded delish and they had al day breakfast items. We ended up going with the following: 1. Chicken sandwich- 10/10 my teen loved this. It was a crispy thinly sliced chicken breast with all the fixings, and pressed to perfection. 2. Chicken Caesar salad - 10/10 the lettuce was Romain, tossed in Caesar dressing and parm, with grilled chicken filet. 3. 4 tacos de asada - 10/10 yummy chopped steak, seasoned and grilled to perfection. I'm not sure if the evening chef cooks better or maybe we were starving, but the food was great! Ambience at the time was pretty loud but I figure it's because people hanging out in the bar area. Definitely will be back.

Chips and dip (guac and salsa)- chips are oily and hard to chew. Guac was bland, no garlic or cut tomato. Salsa was a viscous sludge in a small tub, had the same pepper taste as the Al Pastor. Horchata drink- too much cinnamon and saw multiple lidded to go cups of this already made in the fridge behind the register, no expiration dates on them. ALSO PLEASE UPDATE THE PRICES ON YOUR MENU, I was charged $11.95 for the chips and dip but the menu says "house chips and guac $9.50" ... how is salsa $2.45? Only positive thing I would mention is that the free tiny salsa, slice of lime, sliced radish, and pickled jalapeño and carrot was nice of them. Wish the pickled veggies didn't drip vinegar all over the bag (it was wrapped in tin foil). Never been here before and never coming back again.
