Great service and even better food! I bought an Ashanti's Salmon Panini that was out of this world, dripping with flavor and with that perfectly crispy bread. It was well worth the wait, if you're looking for quality sandwiches at a great price, I couldn't recommend this place enough.

My team and I ordered lunch from here today. My boss picked up our order, and she said this place is small but clean. Service was good and staff is professional. My coworker and I ordered the Claire's chicken panini, and my boss ordered the hoagie flight. Sandwiches come with chips. We thought our paninis were okay. My boss liked the turkey hoagie, but the turkey ham hoagie was a bit tart for her taste. She hasn't tried the corned beef hoagie yet.

Great to go spot for sandwiches/paninis. Everyone was friendly. I highly recommend going when they open because they do run out of their most popular items first i.e the salmon panini. I tried the wagyu Italian beef. The sandwich was good and light. I felt like I could eat another. It was as heavy as an original beef. The turkey hoagie was great as well. Had just the right amount of onions on it.

I finally got to check out Bronzeville Hoagie and Panini and I have to say that I wasn't disappointed. Walking in there was so much character. They have a black and white wall full of the greatest!! There is a nice amount of space considering it's a smaller spot. There is seating available but it's limited. I ordered the lunch special that consisted of a 6 inch hoagie and come with chips and a canned pop or water. The lunch special is available Monday thru Friday from 11am to 1pm. Don't miss out, go check it out now!

I stopped here after work because I heard they're really good. Yes they are! I had the 35th St Hoagie and it didnt disappoint. They have a Hoagie Flight that comes with 3 portions of different hoagies, I'll be getting that next time.

Wonderful Hoagies and Panini's. We had the Salmon Panini, a Vegetarian Panini and Tuna Melt Panini. Some like it hot!! ProTip the Tuna Panini is freakin awesome!

Convenient location, close to expressway, and nice decor inside with a wall of cool black and white photos. The person who took my order was pleasant. He told me it would take about ten minutes for my sandwich - it took a little more time but no problem. I had the chicken panini. All the sandwiches come with lays plain chips. My panini was just ok. There wasn't enough cheese to congeal the sandwich bread together to make it a proper panini. The chicken and peppers just slid through the bread which made it hard to eat. Also this sandwich was only chopped chicken, grilled onions and barely cooked green peppers and a lot of chipotle mayo, pretty basic. I'd try something else next time if I go back.

I've been wanting to try this place for awhile and we finally had some time between my son's football and swimming. We ended up getting the 35th Street, the corned beef panini and the chipotle chicken panini. They were all delicious. My wife says she wishes they would have mayo on the 35th. The corned beef panini tasted like it may have been a corned turkey product. The chicken panini was probably our favorite. It was seasoned well as had a little spice with a good smoky flavor. Each sandwich comes with chips which is nice. The interior is small with a few tables. While a few people ate there most were taking their orders to go. If you do choose to order from here make sure you have a little bit of bit of time. They make everything fresh and it will take a little time especially if they're busy. It's well worth the wait though. I love that they had the walls full of important black figures. They had Enny blasting on one TV and House party playing on the other. That should let you know what the vibes are here. We'll definitely be back to try some of their other offerings.

This is a cute sandwich shop in Bronzeville. The decor was a nice touch as it highlighted historical black figures. I ordered the salmon panini and a side of tuna. The panini was a great size with plenty of salmon. It was good, and I will try it again. The only issue was that one side of my bread was very burnt and I had to remove it. The other side was nice and buttery, so the panini press could just need to be scraped or something. The tuna was delicious, and it was made the way I like my tuna salad. I do think the onions should have been diced, but I like onions so it was fine for me. Also, they don't have cheddar cheese, and I kinda feel that's a standard cheese for a sandwich shop. That could just be my preference, though. The service was very friendly, and I look forward to returning!

I heard about this spot and was very eager to try it. The customer service I received from owner Tiffany was superb however and young lady replaced her at the time of my order and the shift was extremely evident. She immediately turned my experience upside down with her poor customer service. Now to the food... The hoagie was delicious. The wagyu sausage presentation was disappointing as well as the taste. The bread was super chewy and almost tasted stale. The salmon panini was also disappointing with stale bread. Not sure if it was overcooked but definitely not palatable.

Nice solid sandwiches in the city. Highly recommend the salmon panini. The turkey hoagie was delicious but a bit small for the price. Would visit again to try more menu item.

I saw a vid on TikTok regarding this spot so today I decided 2 try them. Great choice. I found street parking a block east. Upon entering it appeared clean and inviting. Inside is black & white decor. The black and white photos of important historical African-Americans is a highlight. The nice lady greeted me and guest upon entering. I met the owner who stated they opened spot in March of this year. I ordered the 35th Street hoagie 4 me and pizza panini for guest. U get your choice of chips. Order took about 10 minutes. The sandwiches are full of flavor. Nothing negative 2 say at all. Definitely will be back. Great job guys!!!

We were quoted a time of 20 minutes out. We arrived a little early and the gal at the counter told us it would be a few minutes. She called out when ready and sat at one of the tables in the front to eat. Each sub had a decent amount of filling. While we each offered the smallest subs, we were plenty full when we left. We enjoyed our subs and now have a place to add to our list for a new quick lunch. For the store itself, they have some odds and ends but many Italian staples. In all I counted 8 guys unloading from this Suburban. & head to Potbelly. I'm like oh hell no. That's when I saw CONTE DI SAVOIA @ 1438 W Taylor Street on the north side of Taylor Street. I decided to cross over & check out this old world Italian Deli. Conti Di Savoia is small Italian grocery store w/an Italian deli that has w/outstanding & inexpensive sandwiches. When I went in there was a line of people waiting @ the deli counter waiting to place their order. I must have looked confused because the owner directed me & told the line started on the other side towards the back of the store. What I found was an awesome of fresh handmade sandwiches for a very reasonable price. I ordered an 8" pastrami w/mozzarella cheese, shredded lettuce, tomato, red onions, mayo, & Italian oil drizzled. What I got was an awesome inexpensive sandwich loaded with/fresh ingredients. Absolutely delicious. After I got my sandwich the owner (I introduced myself (I think his name was Mike) rang up the sandwich. He said they have been there for 35 years. There's also a small dining area in the front of the store where I sat & devoured my sandwich. Like I said this is small Italian store w/a nice selection of products like meats, cheeses, pastas, wine, olive & deli items. I throughly enjoyed finding Conte Di Savoia. The pastrami sandwich was awesome w/a generous portion of pastrami & toppings for a reasonable price. I'm the type of person who who loves finding new places to eat. Most times unless I find great food & reasonable prices I won't go back but I feel like I found a real gem W/Conti Di Savoia. I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK AGAIN.

My mom orders from here often for family events and work events, however, today they lost our order ticket so our 2pm order wasn't made until we went to pick it up, and we didn't get it until 3pm. We handled that with grace and didn't complain. When they finally got the food to us and put it in the trunk, they spilled the juice from the Italian beef tray in the trunk. Which again, we were very calm and didn't complain about it. When the food got to the house and we started to unpack, we realized that we didn't get the steak sandwich tray we ordered, but a tray of mixed sandwiches. My mother called the restaurant to see how we can fix this, since we didn't need a tray of mixed sandwiches when we ordered the Italian beef and chicken Vesuvio separately as it was. The manager, Ali, basically called my mom a liar, said they checked the trays and we got the correct one. This is clearly not the case. She had horrible customer service skills and even refused to refund the difference for the price for the mixed sandwich trays and steak sandwich trays. As long-time customers we expected better. I've attached screenshots of the receipt and the food we receive. Edit: we spoke to the manager Kara today She was apologetic and made everything right for us.

People were crowding around it as the staff handed it to me--handled with care . The chicken was crispy, the sauce had that classic rich flavor, and the melted cheese tied everything together just right. What I really appreciated was how consistent the quality was from end to end--no soggy spots, and the bread held up beautifully (which is key when you're dealing with something this massive). You can tell they know what they're doing when it comes to Italian bread and hearty sandwiches. I think they have patio seating available when the weather allows, which is a nice option, but it does get crowded. Calling ahead to order is definitely a smart move. Because it was so crowded, I didn't really get a chance to look at the bakery items and only ended up ordering a cookie and a cannoli. After ordering, we were asked to wait outside for our name to be called. It took about 15-20 minutes for two sandwiches, and the pickup process was also a bit hectic. The chicken parm sandwich was good, but the eggplant parm was underwhelming and had more breading than eggplant. Overall, for about $17.50 per sandwich, the experience didn't quite match the price for me.
