I've been to Brookhaven multiple times and had a great experience every time. Great spot for your basic pub sports bar food, and watching the game or a busy bar scene for going out with friends for drinks on the weekends. They often have live music or events, which is fun, Only complaint would be it sometimes can be really loud and can be hard to hear. I'd recommend the indoor patio area, but they also have a nice patio deck in the back for when the weather is nice. Food I've gotten here has always been good! I love the grill and grind bowl that is an Asian take on veggies and chicken. Friends have loved the wings, sauced chicken tenders and sandwiches. Reasonably priced even for drinks!

Date Night! He picked a spot to watch the game & chill! Thye have a nice patio!! We shared the appetizer sampler--mozzarella sticks, potato skins, and chicken tenders(which tasted like Friday's on the Square in the 90s)!! - Veggie Soup -Chili & Grilled Cheese Drinks: Draft Blue Moon, Michelob Ultra, & Dirty Martini A great spot to chill & eat good bar food!! it was a nice crowd, at first it took the server a minute to get to us, but once she came to the table, she was very attentive the rest of the evening .

Food is good ... I had the patty melt and it was amazing.. service was great .. McKenzie is amazing she is always super friendly and on point during these busy weekends with football ... the patio is where it's at during football... one of the best football patios...

Blu Burger with a side french fries. otb of these items were under cooked significantly and made my husband sick.

this is not the first time I have had undercooked food from Brookhaven. It seems when they are super packed, pushing food out super fast is the norm. 2 entrees w/ sides - mac. n cheese and french fries, no drinks... 52$!!! My husband and I personally will not be going back EVER!!! He got extremely ill and was taken to baptist east that same night.. We called and reported the whole incident to the restaurant and nothing can be done obviously..Just please be careful and check your meat temps before consuming.. This burger was 93F*

Brookhaven is a good little spot. We went on Sunday right around lunch time. For appetizer, we had mozzarella sticks and cheese fries-- would recommend both. For our meal, I had chicken tenders. They are biiiggg with a light coating. Love their homemade ranch. They also have a Brookhaven signature sauce which is a Worcestershire-y tangy sauce. Not my favorite but I love a good homemade sauce. Not pictured: delicious crispy Brussels with their sweet Asian sauce. Highly recommend if you like roasted Brussels. Service here is hit or miss. Our server started off great but after we got our food we couldn't find him for about 45 minutes... kind of frustrating when we were ready for the checks. It made lunch last more than 2 hours. Food was fresh and portions are good, overall still a good option for a casual lunch.

Food and service were great. Burger was delicious and wings were cooked to perfection. Beer list was decent and the restaurant was clean and smelled great. Lots of TVs for football watching. Only downfall was the Caesar salad. For $10, I was expecting more than a side salad size. Definitely opt for protein.

Recommend the pimento cheese bread sticks for appetizer or any other time. Also, this was the first time I've had a Kilkenny draft which was another highlight. I see now it's rare to find. Smooth and creamy. If I lived nearby, I would be here more often. It's a little on the expensive side, but well worth the price and experience. Just pointing it out to expect to pay, but also pointing out it was worth every cent.

Unfortunately, the food has been consistently underwhelming during my recent visits. I first ordered the lamb chops. They were not what I would consider traditional lamb chops and were surprisingly chewy and difficult to enjoy. I returned and decided to try the Irish Curry Chicken. It was, without exaggeration, one of the worst dishes I've had there. The menu described it as chicken thigh, but it was clearly chicken breast. The dish lacked basic seasoning and flavor. There was very little salt, umami, or curry flavor. The rice was wet, overcooked, and mushy. Overall, the entire meal tasted like something taken from a grocery store freezer section and reheated. At this point, I would recommend sticking to the fries and the burgers, which remain the strongest items on the menu.

Here's a clean, strong review that keeps your energy: Hands down one of the best spots in town. The beer selection is top-tier--something for everyone, whether you're into classics or trying something new. The food is next level, especially the fries... easily top 3 I've ever had. Crispy, flavorful, and addictive. The atmosphere seals the deal: great music, high energy, and the fact that they're open until 3am is a game changer. Best part? The service is always on point. Staff is friendly, fast, and actually cares about the experience.

One of the Worst Customer Service Experiences I've Had After…read moreattending a Pride event and visiting from out of town, my friend and I stopped by Bar Dogs late at night/early in the morning on June 7th, hoping to grab some food before heading back to our hotel. Unfortunately, we were met with one of the rudest bartenders I've ever encountered. As soon as we sat down at the bar, the bartender--a Caucasian woman with a short haircut whose name I unfortunately didn't get--greeted us with an attitude that immediately made us feel unwelcome. Instead of providing friendly service, she was dismissive, impatient, and rushed us through placing our to-go order. She informed us that we could not eat at the bar, which was completely fine. We agreed without any issue and ordered our food to go. However, when my food arrived, I simply opened the container to make sure my order was correct before leaving. She immediately rushed back over and aggressively said, "Didn't I tell you that you could not eat at the bar?" I hadn't taken a single bite--I was only checking my order. Rather than politely clarifying the policy, she continued to scold us and make us feel like we were inconveniencing her simply by being there. We still hadn't even received my friend's food, yet she seemed more interested in lecturing us than providing basic customer service. Once my friend's food finally arrived, we left as quickly as possible. As visitors in town celebrating Pride, we expected a welcoming atmosphere and basic courtesy. Instead, we experienced hostility, impatience, and a complete lack of professionalism. There's a huge difference between enforcing a policy and treating customers with disrespect, and this bartender clearly doesn't understand that distinction. The food may have been fine, but the service was so unpleasant that I would never return or recommend Bar Dogs to anyone looking for a friendly place to eat or have a drink. Customer service training is desperately needed.

I LOVE breweries so visiting this place on Beale was a no brainer…read more Like most breweries, they have a selection to choose from. The options are displayed on a large screen above the bar. I believe the place was empty when we took a seat at the bar but another party of 2 followed shortly behind and sat a little bit further down the bar. I tried something that sounded better than it tasted but ultimately this is a matter of personal preference and I have a high maintenance palate. The people next to us got wings, which looked good until they were dangerously close to a leak that had sprung from one of the exposed pipes above. They had to move to a table behind us and then some of the staff got a bucket to place on the bar to catch the dripping water but that made a very loud noise so then they put a towel inside of the bucket. I will admit that I have never experienced such a thing before. It looked like the pipe that was dripping had tape wrapped over that area so they had tried a "bandaid" fix in the past but it didn't work. Obviously, this does negatively impact the "ambiance" portion of the overall experience and getting the impression that this is an issue that could have been fully addressed previously but the decision was made not to. It wouldn't stop me from going back but it certainly isn't ideal.

There was music playing the whole time but not loud at all - loud enough you could hear it but it didn't impede upon your conversations in the slightest. And by the way the music they had playing last night (Tuesday Feb 10 2026) was EXCELLENT!! I felt like I was at a bar from my youth with that soundtrack. We started with 2 appetizers, pub pretzels and the Celtic queso dip. The pretzels came with honey mustard and some of the queso. The Celtic queso has tortillas and what appeared to be house made potato chips. Both were very good! The 2 adults had some beer on tap. A Yeungling and a 201 Hoplar. Kid (well he is 21 but doesn't drink) had a coke. Entrees were a smash burger with fries, a Buffalo chicken sliders with onion rings, and a shepherds pie with mashed potatoes and gravy and okra. Everything was very good! Often fried things are either over or under done and come out not great however whoever was working the fryer was on it because the onion didn't pull out of the rings when you bit it and the okra was still nice inside the breading. Excellent waitress who kept checking on us and nice environment. What's not to like!! Definitely will return.

But I was super impressed with the quality of the food! I expected a dive. And it is. But the food was fabulous!! Also, our waitress was excellent. Kudos to her. The inside is fun. Definite dive bar energy. We went all in. Appetizers, drinks, entrees. I regret nothing. We started with the queso appetizer and the pub pretzels. Both were very tasty. My one and only critique is that I wished the queso appetizer included some veggies like celery or carrots or something other than just chips. My son ordered the smash burger. Husband got the shepherds pie. I got the buffalo sliders. I like my buffalo chicken to be saucy. So I requested extra sauce. The kitchen seemed to misunderstand and instead of extra saucy, they put my sauce on the side and none on the chicken. Our waitress offered to send it back. That was not necessary. So she brought me lots of extra sauce. Incredible. The sauce was excellent. The chicken was excellent!!! Superb quality. Honestly, quite possibly the highest quality piece of chicken I've had on a chicken sandwich. Tender, moist, flavorful, and a large piece of meat. Very very impressed. I got the onion rings, at the suggestion of our waitress. They were fantastic. Washed it all down with a Yuengling. Truly, I can't say enough about this place. I was highly impressed. Most of the other customers appeared to be regulars who were seated at the bar. There were only a few groups seated at traditional tables. It was a Tuesday evening so I'm sure it's much busier on a Friday or Saturday. Oh - and just as we were leaving, they were setting up for karaoke. Apparently Tuesdays are karaoke night. Oh! And! The check was $77. That's with three beers, a Coke, two appetizers, three entrees! Not bad. Not bad at all!!
