Sesame bagel with veggie cream cheese
    Mary I.

This was a terrible bagel. I had it a few years ago and didn't like it, and so it's been a while and wanted to give it another chance. It's reasonably priced and there are many options. However, the taste of the bagel is very average and the taste of the cream cheese is very bland. It doesn't taste fresh. They didn't even cut it down the middle!

Holy terrible bagel. Went to try the place that's been on my list on a Sunday morning and got a hard disappoint for a 12 dollar bagel lox sandwich. The bagel was hard as rock and has dry bits that you now is caused by improper preparation or storage. Went to the clerk and asked about it and got a "all our bagels are made fresh on the day, it could be the bagels are overheated" answer. Really? How do you heat up bagels for a lox sandwich? This place either thinks their customers are stupid animals or they just straight up lie about their process quality. See the photos and tell me how is this even remotely a Brooklyn bagel. Where is the responsive structure inside? Where is the chewiness? I taste crunchy, stale, and hard grainy edges. I can't have another bite of the bread. It's hard as rock on the outside and plain cardboard inside. The bread failed so hard. Just no redemption from here. If the clerk has a showed a tiny bit interest in looking at their batch of bagel, I would have had a different thought. Sorry, this place is not for a real bagel fan.

Stopped here for our first breakfast while in PGH. Located in Lawrenceville, this is on a Main Street in a retail building with several stores. We walked in and perused the menu. I ordered a Pittsburgher breakfast sandwich on egg bagel. It was very good - but the breakfast sausage on the sandwich - although thicc, was somewhat slimy. I hate that. I should have went with bacon. Coffee drink was solid, and the staff was attentive and friendly.

Was super disappointed by my visit to Brooklyn Bagel recently. My brother was in town and was in the mood for bagels so I decided to check out a place that's been on my list for a while. Ordering was easy on a Saturday morning and the bagels were great! I think they used expired milk in my vanilla latte because I was mid drinking it when I started to swallow chunk of milk with my latte. I've shown pictures below but it was disgusting. I was shocked to visit during such a busy time and this was the latte I was given. I would avoid their coffee at all costs and it felt so bad in my stomach for the rest of the day. I'd like to give them benefit of the doubt but stay safe anyways and don't order coffee from here.

Amazing staff! Great place. Really cute interior and whole vibe. Bagels were delicious. Had a nice chewey interior with a nice crust. I got the 'burgh sandwich no egg and everything melded so well. 10/10 would recommend. My favorite thing there was also the hammajack hot sauce. Even if you don't like spice, it has a great peppery taste that works perfectly with the bagel!

One of my favorite breakfast sandwiches ever the chorizo and hash brown was the best thing ever together. It is a really nice place cool vibes and the employees are really cool. Next time I stop in I'm definitely going to try out the coffee!

Brooklyn deli was a quick walk from where I was staying and they opened at 9 am which was earlier than most places for breakfast in the area of Lawrenceville. This place has a lot of charm and loved the vibe. I ordered their Pittsburgh bowl with delicious scrambled cheddar cheese eggs, at least three eggs maybe four and a hash brown cooked to perfection plus delicious sausage for around $10 which was a nice change of pace from other places near me. They have a good selection of coffee and tea too. I loved the ambience of this place. Staff helpful. Easy to find and convenient.

    Torta Bagel Sandwich

We walked over to Brooklyn Bagel at Arsenal from our Airbnb and found the place absolutely buzzing with energy! There was a line practically out the door, which we took as a good sign, and despite the wait, the staff moved quickly and kept everything running smoothly. By the time our bagels were ready, we lucked out and snagged a spot inside to eat--which was definitely a good call since these bagels were loaded! I ordered the Torta Bagel Sandwich with egg, chorizo sausage, cheddar cheese, cilantro sauce, jalapeño, and lime, and it did not disappoint. The bagel was packed with bold flavors, and the hearty fillings made it super satisfying. The cilantro sauce and lime added a fresh, zesty twist that tied everything together. If you're in the area and craving a flavorful, hearty breakfast, Brooklyn Bagel is a must-visit. Just be ready to get there early and don't eat it in your car--these bagels are no joke!

Was super excited to order a breakfast bagel from Brooklyn Bagel this morning because last time I ate there the food was exceptional. When I got my food today my bagel was burned and everything inside my bagel tasted overcooked too. I was already home at this point and wasn't able to go back and ask for another bagel. I'll continue to support this business because the prices are fair and I've had good bagels here before but today was a miss for sure.

Cute coffee shop with yummy bagels! Avocado bagel super flavorful, bagel itself not the most fluffy but solid. Really friendly staff, nice place to study!

I got a bacon, egg, cheese and jalapeño cream cheese. I'm so glad I did the cream cheese, even though it definitely made my sandwich messy. The bacon was good and not soggy. I do wish there was more seasoning on the everything bagel but it was good. The service was good. My food came out fast. I got mine to go but there were places to sit and enjoy your bagel.

My food and coffee were delicious! Service was quick and it was very nice inside. Would go back again.

Out here in the North Hills, we've been stuck with chain options -- so when Three Brothers Bagels came to Shaler, it really helped fill a void. This place is a great destination for all kinds of bagels, bagel sandwiches, baked goods AND really, really good soup. My personal favorite so far has been the potato leek soup with bagel croutons. It was so good that I'd love to see it become a menu staple rather than just a special. As for the bagels themselves, the selection strikes a nice balance of savory and sweet, and the spreads and fillings follow suit. What I especially love is that the sandwiches go beyond just breakfast -- there are creative, lunch-style options that set them apart. And yes, their bagels are chewy and might give your jaw a workout after a whole sandwich, but honestly... isn't that just what a bagel is? Tip: Make sure you get there early or plan to order ahead this place is SO popular and regularly sells out. I'm also looking forward to seeing their food truck out and about. Highly recommend for anyone in the North Hills looking for quality bagels, sandwhiches, soups and some genuinely great baked goods!

The different types of bagels are good, Jalepeno cheddar could have a little more Jalepeno in it, but solid. The real highlight was the sausage egg and cheese, the sausage being freshly pressed and made in house really made it standout, definitely recommend!
