One of the best pickup spots in town. Great for a true bagel. I usually get The Burgh (sub bacon for sausage) because it has a great hot and crispy hash brown. The coffee gets great reviews. Was super disappointed by my visit to Brooklyn Bagel recently. My brother was in town and was in the mood for bagels so I decided to check out a place that's been on my list for a while. Ordering was easy on a Saturday morning and the bagels were great! I think they used expired milk in my vanilla latte because I was mid drinking it when I started to swallow chunk of milk with my latte. I've shown pictures below but it was disgusting. I was shocked to visit during such a busy time and this was the latte I was given. I would avoid their coffee at all costs and it felt so bad in my stomach for the rest of the day. Amazing staff! Great place. Really cute interior and whole vibe. Bagels were delicious. Had a nice chewey interior with a nice crust. Brooklyn deli was a quick walk from where I was staying and they opened at 9 am which was earlier than most places for breakfast in the area of Lawrenceville. This place has a lot of charm and loved the vibe. I ordered their Pittsburgh bowl with delicious scrambled cheddar cheese eggs, at least three eggs maybe four and a hash brown cooked to perfection plus delicious sausage for around $10 which was a nice change of pace from other places near me. This sandwich had a has brown, fried egg, cheese, cilantro sauce and chorizo. It was incredibly greasy (as most things with chorizo are) but it was so good! Loved the texture of everything together and thought the flavor was good! Personally, the chorizo could have been saltier and spicier but I thought it was well done! We were visiting Pittsburgh for college tours for a couple of days, and the food here was hands-down the best food we ate during this visit! We ordered the chorizo/egg bagel sandwich, one with sausage/egg/hashbrown, and the granola yogurt bowl. SO yum!! Lots of flavor. The yogurt was not super tart, and was super creamy. Most of my friends ordered something very similar. I was very surprised to see how big my sandwich was and it was super tasty. It was a little bit dry but overall good. Generally speaking I really enjoyed my visit to Brooklyn Bagel at Arsenal. They have a fun variety of breakfast sandwich options. I selected the Burgh and was impressed if not overwhelmed by the size and thickness of the sausage patty. It was as thick as a burger patty! I liked the combination of the egg, cheese, sausage patty, and hash brown and thought adding the hash brown to the sandwich was a fun touch. That being said, my everything bagel was mediocre at best. It was nowhere on par with a real NY bagel in terms of flavor and texture and just felt a bit disappointing. I loved my apple pie latte and thought it had great flavor and really felt comforting on a brisk morning. The staff was friendly and helpful and the space is cute with a decent amount of indoor and outdoor seating options, but could easily get full during busy times. I stopped by here earlier today with my wife and our twins for our morning coffee. Every Sunday morning we try to hit up a new local coffee shop and on this morning we decided to go to Brooklyn Bagel at Arsenal. Since it's located on Butler Street in Lawrenceville, parking is at a premium, so it's nice that there is retail only parking behind the shop for customers. The inside of Brooklyn Bagel is nice with giant windows meaning that everything is bright. They have exposed brick walls with some crazy chandelier type lighting and then both indoor and outdoor seating. It wasn't too crowded whenever we got there but by the time we left about 15 minutes later the place was bumping. I should also note that our cashier here on this morning was super engaging and nice talking to both us and our twins. For our coffees on this morning I went with a latte while my wife went with one of their specials, a coco-moco (coconut and mocha) cold brew. Then we both also went with sandwiches and I chose the Burgh while my wife went with a cheddar bagel with chive cream cheese. The menu described my bagel as coming with egg, sausage and hash brown and then I chose pepper Jack cheese for it on a jalepeno bagel. I first had my sandwich which I really enjoyed. The bagel was flavorful and I really enjoyed the hashbrown on the sandwich. Why more places don't do it, I don't know. Then the sausage was flavorful and the egg was cooked well which made for a nice sandwich. My wife's bagel and cream cheese was good as well as the bagel had a nice chew and the cream cheese a good flavor. After I had finished with my bagel I was able to try my coffee. My first impression of it was that you could tell the coffee was fresh. After that first sip I thought that the espresso was more difficult to taste and that the milk was the main flavor. My wife did enjoy her cold brew though, especially loving the pairing of chocolate and coconut. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. Our whole family felt welcomed at Brooklyn Bagel and we both loved our bagels and my wife loved her coffee too. read more

They decided it was better to berate me in front of the customers for taking the order that had my name on it. They proceeded to make sure to make it a point to say these orders were for mobile customers. Surprise, I was a mobile customer! Just unnecessary and absurd behavior. I just tried a breakfast sandwich from Brookyln Bagels for the first time yesterday, and woah! It was perfect! I rarely eat a bagel, but for some reason I was just craving it! I knew I was going to have a busy day so I needed something heavier than my normal breakfast. My boyfriend went down to pick it up for us. He ordered a sausage, egg and cheese bagel, and he got me the lox bagel with veggie cream cheese on a multigrain bagel. They were out of everything bagels or that's what I would have tried. I love how fresh the actual bagel was. It was soft and spongy but crisp on the outside. It was comparable to a Bruegger's Bagel, but bigger and honestly more flavorful. We both really liked what we ordered. The veggie cream cheese has actual pieces of veggies in it. In addition to the smoked salmon on top, it has fresh dill, capers, and red onion. It was exactly what I was looking for! This bagel breakfast sandwich was definitely 5 stars. I am looking forward to stopping in the shop next time and trying their coffee too. Just really basic bagels. Same quality as you would get from a grocery store in my opinion. I had the everything bagel with plain cream cheese and a plain bagel with jalepeno cream cheese. The everything bagel had no flavor. I will say the jalepeno cream cheese was amazing!!! It had real jalepenos in it. So definitely give that a try if you come. This is a decent bagel place. Definitely pales in comparison to a traditional bagel bakery in NYC. However, at $7 for a bagel sandwich that's pretty sizable and easy to customize, it's a good value. Their egg bagel is their best since it's the softest and the other bagels are on the more firm side, but they've had delivery issues lately and it's been out of stock. The everything bagel needs work. It has barely any seasoning, a product of them getting the bagels shipped frozen in and baking them the day of. The staff is extremely nice and will go out of their way to make sure you're 100% satisfied. For example, they've made my coffee drinks too sweet a couple of times and we're happy to remake it for me, no questions asked. The blueberry lavender latte is highly recommended. read more
