My sales representative, Michael, was phenomenal. I shopped extensively--online and in multiple stores--and Mattress Firm, thanks to Michael's expertise, had not only the best selection of high-quality mattresses but also the most competitive pricing. I came in on New Year's Day during their once-a-year clearance sale, and the deals were incredible. There were so many sales happening that it truly felt like the best day of the year to buy a mattress. Michael spent over two hours with me, patiently showing me many different beds and educating me along the way. I learned so much! He was never pushy and genuinely had my best interests at heart. I ended up purchasing two queen beds: * A Tempur-Adapt Medium Hybrid with an adjustable base (and let me say--this is the BEST MATTRESS OF ALL TIME). The adjustable base has everything: massage, under-bed lighting, head and foot lift--every bell and whistle you could want. * A second queen mattress for a spare bedroom, along with platform rails and a mattress protector. The warranties on both the mattress and base are top-notch. Even better, the adjustable base was a floor model, so it was deeply discounted. Michael also let me know that you can ask about clearance items, which I didn't even know was an option--I saved a lot of money because of him. Michael is truly the best sales representative I have ever encountered at any establishment. I wasn't even convinced I would buy that day--let alone from Mattress Firm--but he completely changed my mind. Michael, you are a huge asset to Mattress Firm. You worked so hard to educate me and make sure I got the best bed for my price point and needs. I had paid megabucks for this mattress but the company failed to deliver it time-and-time-again. It was to be delivered in July and by mid-September, with all the promises of delivery, I still didn't have it. I was extremely frustrated and, I must say, very angry. I happened to stop by The Mattress Store and met the owner, Kurtis Myers. I explained the special kind of mattress that I wanted. He showed me a fabulous mattress that was better than the one I had ordered from the other company and it was $400.00 cheaper! Because of their failure to deliver, I canceled my first mattress order and then immediately drove to The Mattress Store to order the one Mr. Myers had shown me. He personally delivered it to my home at an odd time because of my work schedule and could not have been nicer. He worked very, very hard to please me, and of course, I was overjoyed that I could actually have a mattress in 24-hours. If I need another mattress, the Mattress Store is the only place I will go! To make matters worse, the mattress arrived without a legally required law tag, which raises serious questions about quality control and compliance. When I contacted the retailer, they refused to offer any support, citing a strict no-return policy. Their customer service was dismissive and unhelpful -- a problem many other reviewers seem to have experienced as well. I attempted to dispute the charge through American Express, but was denied because of the retailer's policy. So now I'm stuck with a mattress I can't sleep on, no way to return it, and no accountability from the seller. I reached out to Malouf directly, hoping they would stand behind their product and help me -- especially considering the mattress came without a tag and the retailer is damaging their reputation. I'm still waiting for a meaningful response. I strongly caution other customers to research both the retailer and the product before making a purchase. It's unfortunate that what should have been a trustworthy investment in better sleep has turned into a costly and frustrating experience.

She was very knowledgeable and patient as we shopped around. We knew we were likely going to go with a Purple mattress, but decided to browse at other stores. Their mattresses and customer service were lackluster in comparison to our experience at Purple, so a week later, we stopped by to make sure Marla was working, and purchased our mattress! After some searching, we were pleasantly surprised to find this local futon store. The owner was really helpful and I appreciated that he makes the futon mattresses on site. You get to choose your thickness and material (Cotton or cotton/foam), as well as any covers you might want for the mattress. There's also a wide selection of frames to choose from. Overall we've been pleased with our purchase and I'd definitely come here again for any future futon or mattress needs.
