Went here for lunch with coworkers the other day and wasn't really blown away. Maybe it's my own fault because I gave up carbs for the month so that cancelled about 75% of the menu off for me. I ordered the meatballs, wings and a salad. I don't think I would order any of those again. Coworkers of mine did order pizza and calzones that they said were good. Because of the Yelp reviews about the pizza here I have opted to get other items. I have had their cheese steak multiple times and it has been very tasty. I also tried the mushroom ravioli in Alfredo sauce and really like it. Service has been above average and surprisingly better than other restaurants in Virginia. The staff here is very attentive. Veggie pizza was cold, sauce seemed watered down and crust tasted stale. Fried pickles and fried zucchini sticks were horrible. The breading was soggy as were pickles and zucchini. This was my first and last time ordering from here. I would have been better off buying a frozen pizza. read more

I ordered the caprese salad from this place for delivery. At some point the salad sloshed all over the inside of the container and spilled into the plastic bag it was delivered in. I guess what's surprising to me, is that the restaurant doesn't put the salad in a container that won't actually leak all over the place or put the dressing in a separate container so it won't spill. And even though it clearly spilled, because you could feel the salad dressing all over the outside of the bag, the driver wasn't too apologetic at all. Ordered delivery chicken parm and fettuccine Alfredo. The food was absolutely amazing for me and my wife. The food came with a yummy breadsticks and side salad for each entree. I've been here before and had takeout. It was pretty good but I also thought it was very expensive. Today I am stuck at home because I'm sick and obviously cannot leave the house for obvious reasons so was craving some pizza and was sick of the usual suspects. I decided to check out their menu on Uber eats and came across this crazy concoction called the wiseguy Pizza... I would've never in 1 million years have put these items on a pizza, and I will never not have a pizza again without these items on it LOL this might be my first time having it but it definitely won't be my last! I stopped at Brooklyn Brothers Pizza after visiting Tin Cannon Brewery on 7/29/17. I enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant's dining room. I can understand why I saw many groups of people at the restaurant. It is much more of traditional Italian restaurant than a "take out place". The service was good. However, my pizza took a lot longer than I expected for a dining room that was half full. I also thought the pizza was average and, a little on the expensive side. My vegetables did however, taste and appear to be fresh. In a nutshell nothing outstanding about Brooklyn Brothers Pizza but nothing bad either. read more

Went to this pizzaria today we had Brian as our server she was amazing !! He told us he liked people and the place he works for ! The da r that he has been there for 6 years says a lot about the management and him. The decor was great very Brooklyn brick industrial. The space was clean and organized. We always love Brooklyn Brothers! We've eaten there since 2013 when we moved here. They are very family friendly, relaxed, and the food is great! The Jersey Joe sub with the house dressing is one of our favorites! So glad they are still open through COVID! read more

In a nutshell - great place to take young kids, good dishes, so-so pizza. We've been here a few times now, it's a great place to take kids. The sandwiches and calzones appear to be the highlight of the menu, we also really enjoyed the tomato/mozzarella/basil salad. The kids meals are a good value for $4.95 including drink and either fries or fruit. My wife was disappointed by the variety on the menu, nothing along the way of a Picatta or Marsala dish. The menu is mostly focused on sandwiches and pizza though they do have some traditional southern Italian fare such as lasagna, ziti, and spaghetti and meatballs. I'm not all that high on the pizza though. Pizzeria NY Margharita up the road a bit is still my favorite. BB's is good, but a little too doughy for my tastes. But again, this is a family friendly place, lots and lots of kids, and it's very loud. They give kids dough balls to play with, and the service is outstanding. They also have a few video games in the corner and plenty of TVs showing ESPN or sporting events. read more

My wife and I have been wanting some pizza for a while and we tried it out. I had the Brooklyn Bros pizza which has every meat they could find and my wife had a Mediterrean pizza, with no meat. Crazy, huh? I smashed the whole 12 inch...it was delicious every bite!! Servers were cool, manager checked on us, which was nice too. My wife had a little trouble with hers, so she had to take it home. They had a 2lb burger on the menu which I wanted to try, but I felt obligated to get pizza since it was a pizza place, but I think next time I'm gonna try the burger... One million times better than the normal pizza hut, dominos, etc pizza chains! Definitely will be goin back...sooner than later! read more

Came here a few times and slowly over time the quality has declined. The wings used to be so crunchy and now seem overdone, wet and soggy. Their pizza crust is also slightly soggy, though the flavor of the toppings and sauce is very good and fresh. The staff are friendly and the wait isn't terribly long, but I recommend going at non-prime hours for the best service and better chance for fresher food. I will give them another chance and try to ask for the wings and pizza to be well done to see if that makes a difference. read more

After visiting Brooklyn Brother's on several occasions, I decided to come back and update my review, since I had, had mixed feelings about the place after my first two visits. The place seems to be doing pretty well, as each time I've been there they've had a reasonable amount of customers and on one Friday night there was even a brief wait. I pretty much always go with the chicken fettucine alfredo w/ a caesar salad. After my first two visits I started requesting extra dressing for the salad and extra sauce for the pasta. Both made the dishes much more enjoyable and I have to say I'm now a fan of the place! read more

Good Italian food is what you can find here at Brooklyn Brothers. The place has been around awhile and despite much competition it has survived. To me this speaks well of their establishment. I personally love the bada bing pizza! In fact I enjoy all of the pizza they have here. I don't ever try anything else so I can't offer any comments on the other food. The staff is pretty friendly and I've always had good interactions with them. Seating is plentiful and the place is always clean. The couple of times I've done carry out they've had my orders ready to go when I got there, without any issues or mixups. So after confirming with this establishment I have placed 82 orders over the years (10) but, we have been doing carryout to avoid 3rd party services the past 2 orders, both times we repeated the order to avoid mistakes. Both times the order was wrong. For example no pepperoni on half a pizza and no cheese or tomato on a sub seems like a simple request. I am sorry but 1 plus years into Covid or your kitchen can't read our order? That seems like a lame excuse. read more

Its about time Gainesville gets a respectable Pizza place! Great service with a friendly smile, the waitress was very pleasant and helped with keeping the kids occupied until the food arrived. Free Cannoli's for my boys because they finished their dinner. Steak & Cheese, A+; Eggplant Parm, A; Greek Salad (no meat), A; kids Chicken Tenders and Spaghetti & Meatballs, the right price and the right amount of food. Nice atmosphere, louder, but comfortable, everyone that worked there had a smile on their face. Small bar area where you can sit and have a drink while you wait for a table. We had 7, they told us 30 minutes, it was more like 15. We didn't have the pizza, but it looked very good, I will be sure to try it on my next visit. so... my feelings are kind of mixed, here. The food is good. However, I just can't get over Italian places that mess up Italian words.... For example, They offer a "Margarita" pizza, the spelling of which implies that it is covered in limes! Also on the menu, you will find a "Tomato and Basil" pizza. What's odd about this is that the description of this pizza describes a classic "Margherita" pizza! I also have a peeve about places that consistently mispronounce the word bruschetta. The english phonetic of this word is: bruskeh'ta. I ordered the bruschetta, here. The waiter asked me, "you want the BruSHetta?" ugh.. if you are going to correct someone, correct someone who is wrong. Unfortunately, there are enough other Italian places around that serve great pizza and other dishes that actually understand how to spell and pronounce what they are selling that I can't recommend this place... I would, however, recommend: Pizza Margherita Giuseppe's sorry for that... I just had to get it off my chest. read more

We've been to this place on several occasions, and with every visit, we find a new favorite to add to the things we have to get with each order - so far, this list includes the wings, mozzarella sticks and calzones - each as good as, or better than, we've ever had anywhere. To be honest, if you're going to order pizza, stick to the basics - the "specialty" pizzas have all been "misses" for us - overcooked, runny or just off. The best is probably the simplest, consisting of a simple tomato pizza sauce and 4 cheeses. The servers are great, but the managers are very stand-off-ish, and give off a "what do you want? Why are you bothering me?" vibe. We'll be back, for sure, and look forward to the next treasures we find! read more

Just no. I moved within walking distance here in 2017. Tried it about 4-5 times since. Just no. Nothing is good. Pizza, cheese steak, customer service. Would love to be able to walk to my local pizza spot. Unfortunately, cant. My dad even visited, babysat my daughter when I went out. I told him you can walk and get pizza too. (Knowing in my head I wouldn't go there but I figured it's just for a 3 year old). Never mentioned I dont eat it. Didn't realize he was planning on feeding himself too.
