Hey this restaurant is an awesome lunchtime vibe! The owner plays 90s/2000s music, Jamming to Alanis morissette while eating is never a bad thing, the food comes out super fresh and the pizzas are def NY style. It's a sit down and order spot no waiters, self serve soda, get your condiments and utensils at the bar. We got bruschetta as an app, One of my boys got the Italian sub, I got the steak and cheese supreme, my daughter got cheese fries. Steak and cheese supreme could do without the lettuce, otherwise it was def 8/10. Id prob add more onions and GPs because I'm a brat. Pizza was definitely a 9/10. Very impressed. The chef was super nice. Also it wasn't busy at all on a Saturday which I was nervous about that but Also they have the GOOD ICE (iykyk lol). read more

Nice little local Pizza and Subs joint in beautiful downtown Nokesville... I've been a few times now so far - to go. Decent Italian Sub & Wings. I stopped in on a Thursday evening after I called in a order. I was a little surprised that she said it would be 20 minutes when I called it in at 415p. It was ready to go and there was hardly anyone in the place. This place is in a strip center and they've taken two business' side by side to make a restaurant on one side and a bar on the other. Lets be real, they do not have a lot of competition in Nokesville but objectively I think its pretty good. I've only had the pizza and I like the sauce the best because it is a nice tany tomato sauce and not too sweet. For the cheese pizza I like that there is a lot of oregano. Based on one experience here I can say that this place has the best subs in the Manassas/Nokesville/Gainesville area. The Beau and I went here last night cos I was in a deli mood. Boy am I glad we did! This place sits where (I think) Joe's Pizza was. It's at the end of an small, old strip mall. Inside you'll find wooden back booths and carpeted floors. They have a bar area where plenty of old red necks gather to smoke (the bar was surprisingly busy for 7.30p on a Wednesday). Aside from the smoky smell, this place is super clean and very simply decorated. Definitely not as hectic and obnoxious to get around in as some of the other "Italian / Pizza" joints in Manassas... I ordered the Italian with no tomatoes and the Beau had the chicken parm. Both were absolutely DELICIOUS. I can't even describe how good they were but the bread they use is perfect. The chicken parm came out warm, melty and gooey... like a big warm roll of perfection. The Italian didn't have any unnecessary salad dressings on it, and not a whole lot of mayo either; it's roll was toasted to perfection. I highly, HIGHLY recommend this place. Stopped here after passing it many times. We were hungry and wanted pizza so we stopped in after seeing decent reviews. It was around 2pm on a Saturday and pretty slow. We sat near the bar and the bartender took care of us. She was very prompt and courteous. We just ordered a medium half cheese and half pepperoni pizza. We had Carini's again last night. Ordered online this time. Very easy. Our order was ready when promised. The person that greeted me was very nice. I'm disappointed by how few pictures of their food is on Yelp so I thought I'd add a few more. The pizza was very good. First time ordering the specialty. It was still hot when we got it home. I love their crust and it had just the right amount of toppings. The Caesar salad was good. Chicken was moist and warm. Their dressing had a hint of sweetness. Carini's Pizza is an institution in Nokesville. I have been eating at Carini's for more than a decade. Still, I wouldn't characterize this restaurant as 4 stars even on its best day. The food is average at best and the service is below average. The menu is not for anyone trying to eat healthy. In fact, I would avoid this restaurant if you are trying to eat vegetables, fruit, and healthy meats. This restaurant specializes in tasty processed foods. The owner and staff are great. They are understaffed, though. Some nights it's empty and on the night I went to eat there it was obvious that they only had 2 people in the kitchen for a full restaurant. Needless to say, the orders took a lot of time. Carini's is comfort food and good for those times when you want to indulge in tasty processed foods. I wouldn't eat here often with their current menu. I hope that they take a look at their menu and offer some healthier choices for those who might want to eat here more often. I wish it were under better circumstances that I made my first trip to Carini's Pizza. My wife and I were involved in a nasty car accident right at the intersection of Fitzwater Dr. and Rt 28 where Carini's is. A truck traveling north on Rt 28 veered into the opposing lane, struck a car, and that car was forced into our vehicle. Luckily, we were not injured, but the accident shut down a chunk of Rt. 28 for over two hours. After spending a lot of time speaking to officers we had been outside for nearly an hour and a half. We needed warmth, food, and a bathroom, and headed over to Carini's Pizza. Carini's reminds me of the typical pizza joint that seems to be in just about every small Virginia town. We were greeted promptly by the server at the counter and took a seat. This situation called for comfort food, and what's more comforting than pizza? And their pizza is VERY good. Not quite Tony's good, but better than Joe's in Manassas and the pizza chains. The crust was crispy but still foldable and the sausage was flavorful. The mushrooms were canned, not fresh, but still worked on the pizza. It definitely hit the spot and brought a bit of cheer to a dreary situation. We liked it so much that we plan to go back at a future date. read more

Wow! Never in my 37 years have I seen such a rude and unaccommodating establishment. When I was young playing ball I will always remember going to the local pizza place after games with my teammates and creating great friendships and memories. It's what a local place is for... NOT this one! I was a patron and watched the manager kick out a little league baseball team for no reason apparent to me nor my family. Stopped in on the way from Fairfax to the Shenandoah Valley on the motorcycles... We were the only ones in there on a weekend afternoon. Ordered calzones and they were fine. I was quite surprised a couple years ago to find this place had some fantastic pizza. I have not found anything better in the Manassas area. Nothing fancy, just doing what they do very well! I've also had their entrees, which are good, but pizza is definitely the specialty. I've not tried the subs but I intend to soon. They did a trial run delivering, but I guess it didn't work out. The decor and the music reminded me of the mom and pop places my parents were so fond of when I was I was a kid in the 70s and 80s, but then again, so did the food which is what gets this (very) casual location the high rating. Not a fan of receiving food I paid for that it's not cooked all the way. Also not a fan of a place that claims to be open on Sunday from noon until eight and they're not open. All in all just not a fan. Eat at your own risk. I hope you have a better experience than I did. read more

A very much "locals" place. Decor reflects it; but it was pretty clean which is what counts with me. Service was pretty good. Very thin crust pizza - the kind you can fold New York style if you want. Very nice. Pizza was very good (I had vegetarian), and the service was very good. I'd never been in this part of Virginia before, and the place certainly seemed "local" -- not on the beaten path for major highway traffic. I would return in a heartbeat, and recommend it without any reservations. The menu lists "beer" at one price, by the bottle, and the locals don't seem to have much of a taste for good beer. When I asked "what beer do you have, the waiter rattled off Bub, Bud Lite, Miller, Miller Lite, ... at the top of the list.
