As an avid pizza fan, I'm always waiting to try a new place, especially when it reference's NY in someway. So, obviously my expectations were high and the folks at BJ's did not disappoint. On a busy Friday night, they were up front about wait times (which surprisingly accurate), which was sadly about an hour. However, when the food arrived, the pizza was pipping hot and smelled amazing. The pizza was crispy, savory and loaded with quality toppings and above average mozzarella cheese. We also ordered a salad that was fairly basic, but adequately portioned for 4 people. Lastly, they have some garlic bread that should be illegal with how addicting it was. In all, it was worth the trip for us. The only negative for this place is the length of time it takes to get food. As busy as it is, I can understand, but at the same time, I've been in places that are as good and faster. For Canton, I'm not sure there is a better pizza. read more

While I am very happy with their pizza usually, tonight I was highly disappointed. We typically dine in, in the afternoon, but because we like the pizza so much we chose to order it for take out this evening to enjoy with friends. After being put on hold for well over 5 minutes, I gave my order, and after telling me the total, was told it would not be ready for 45 minutes--much longer than I had any idea it would take. Then I informed them I had a coupon on my phone, from their specific mobile site, but was told I had to print it to be able to Use it--really??? I don't carry a printer in my car, and my phone doesn't have printer capability anyway. Extremely disappointing. read more

I'm up to at least 5 visits here in as many months, and as a former NYer, I have to say this is some of the best pizza and Italian food I've had in Georgia. The pizza is crispy and flavorful (real flavor of cheese and sauce, not just salt). The pasta dishes I've tried have also been flavorful and the portions are very generous. One of the most impressive things about Brooklyn Joe's is the staff is exceptionally friendly and they appear to be having fun. It makes for a great environment for dining in or picking up an order to take home. The traffic due to construction of Hwy 20 can be a challenge, but it's well worth it. You should make this your "go-to" place for pizza in Canton. read more

Try it if you must but you will be much better off going somewhere else. Not sure what NY style pizza they are going for but it is an epic fail. Kitchen is SLOW and I can't understand why. Front of house was not busy, the food is not freshly made and they had about 5 employees loitering around the front of the store so staffing isn't issue. You are better off going into Target and getting frozen pizza and some frozen pasta dish. It would be faster and probably the same quality. read more

I have family that were born and raised in Brooklyn and they all agree that this place is legit! Brooklyn Joe's is as authentic as it gets without being in the city that never sleeps... A. K. A. The Big Apple.. A. K. A New York freaking City! I don't know who Joe is but that man knows how to make a fine pizza. I can't tell you how excited I was to try it. My taste buds yearned for something other than the sweet, unpalatable, vile pile of sh#% that the place that rhymes with nizza tut tries to pass off as food. We ordered the garlic knots and the Margherita pizza with pepperoni. Both were delicious! The marinara sauce tasted homemade and were the perfect accompaniment to the garlic knots. The pizza was true to New York style.... The sauce was robust, light, and savory. There was just enough of everything..... Just enough sauce, just enough cheese. It was wonderfully executed. The crust was thin, crispy yet pillowy. Look man.....there is a reason why this place stays packed! The food is just bomb! I would be remiss if I didn't mention how great the service was! Our waiter was friendly and the food came out quick and hot. I'm so glad I can stop begging my friends for buddy passes and can now enjoy the taste of New York Pizza in my own back yard. read more

Yesterday I ordered the gourmet delight, it was wonderful I took it to my family and they liked it so much we decided to order again tonight. Tonight I ordered the margarita pizza, a meatball sub, and a Stromboli Togo. The pizza was not good at all w/ barely any cheese and we could not tell whether it was really fresh moz cheese or not. The manager and girl servers did not answer the question we asked and it was poor service. The manager basically twiddling his thumbs in the restaurant. These guys are phenomenal! I've been there several times now and the service has always been top notch. The servers have often remembered my name and the things that I've ordered previously, which is rare for a restaurant. Great staff who really go out of their way to make sure you're taken care of. A friend of mine who is a vegetarian ordered a salad that had a few meat components and asked that the salad be made sans meat. Without being asked, the staff adjusted the price without the meat so that my friend wouldn't have to pay extra for food she didn't order. I personally have ordered the pizza, calzones and spinach salad and all were seriously some of the best I've ever had. I just finished eating the spinach salad with copious amounts of fresh spinach leaves, grilled chicken, sliced soft bacon, sliced egg, fresh mushrooms and a bacon vinaigrette...this salad is ridiculously good! Whomever made it deserves a raise! For real. The have ample seating indoors as well as a few tables with umbrellas out front if you would prefer to sit outside. Great atmosphere, phenomenal freshly prepared food, a great wine and beer selection and really kick ass staff! I am from New Jersey transplanted down to North Georgia and I do miss the real pizza and Italian food that I enjoyed in New Jersey and New York. When I moved up to Canton to be near my sister, I fell in love with Brooklyn Joe's. When in the new Canton area I'll drop into Target and grab some groceries, then I head to Brooklyn Joe's for a slice. I usually opt for a single slice with feta, spinach or jalepenos. I tried a bit of their salad, not bad, lettuce was crisp and fresh. If I'm going with more than two people, we spring for a medium pie, take home any leftovers and that makes for a nice surprise the next day when I'm rummaging through the fridge looking for a quick fix. Not the best pizza I've had but it's certainly better than most around here. I think I'll try out their other options next time and come back and add that in. All in all, a pretty good joint for some pizza in the middle of the 20 shopping center. read more

Clearly some of the best pizza in the area. Try the "New Yorker." Everything it just just right. But the unsung hero of the pizza was the crust. The crust defines the pizza. It's the foundation that everything else is built upon. Worth the hunt when you're in the area. The competition in the area consists of the Olive Garden, McDonald's, Subway, Cheese Burger Bobby's, Taco Mac (the place for a great beer selection) and La Parilla. We have been looking for a good pizza and beer spot and this was just that.First impression was the place was run by kids... with great attitudes, customer service and a good quality product. They are social distancing and operate a very healthy takeout business as well as booths for dine in customers which have a better ambiance than most pizza joints. I will like it more onice social distancing becomes unnecessary but we will be back here before then.The green haired waitress was especially welcoming and the manageress was also very sweet and it is good to see a business deserving success achieve it. read more

We tried Brooklyn Joe's today for the first time and we will def be back! The menu is huge so I can't wait to try more items but I will be honest it will be hard to order anything other than what we had today. I had the chicken parm sub and a small Greek salad. And a cannoli for dessert. Now I come from an Italian family and that cannoli cream was amazing! It was smooth and sweet without being over done. Here's what else our table ordered: 1st teenager had lunch portion of the eggplant parm. It was a huge portion and she has enough for dinner as well. It was well seasoned and not greasy at all. You could actually taste the eggplant and not just oil and cheese. Mil had lunch portion of spaghetti and meatballs. Again huge portion and the meatballs were large but tender and moist. 2nd daughter had the kids ravioli. It was not tiny like most kids portion of ravioli are. Very cheesy and delicious Husband had the lunch portion of the chicken parm. He finished it completely and it was a huge portion. He said it was too good to stop eating. We had Zachary as our server. This is our top pick for great pizza in Cherokee county. There are a few other places we like, but Joe's is consistently very good to excellent. Cesar salad is top notch with home made dressing and house croutons. The pizza is very fresh with excellent crust. The crust is typically not super thin, but crispy on the bottom, and an overall light feeling. The edges are great with a little chew to them. Great toppings, nice sauce also. We usually get extra sauce, Italian sausage, and ricotta cheese. It is one of my top 5 pizzas ever. Giving this place a 2 star is honestly super generous! The food...oh my word, I felt like Gordon Ramsey on kitchen nightmares. This food has noting Italian to it other than the names of the dishes. This is the BEST pizza EVER! I've had pizza in both NY & Chicago, doesn't even come close to this pizza! I'd even work there on weekends just to get to smell the goodness constantly! My husband and I have been here several times since moving to Canton and this time it was a fail! I ordered the Rueben with the dressing on the side. Well the dressing was on the side and on the sandwich. The meat was so tuff one bite pulled all the meat from between the bread. It did not have any sort of Swiss cheese on it either. Not sure what kind of cheese it was. As someone from New York, at a place called BROOKLYN Joes I would think they could make a Ruben. Ok maybe my fault or ordering the Ruben. Rather than walking across the street to eat at the Cracker Barrel, I ordered a pizza from Brooklyn Joe's. Based on other yelp! reviews I had high hopes. I just had the most wonderful, glueten free dinner at Brooklyn Joe's!!! I have recently been told by my doctor that I had to give up glueten.I have been allergic to shellfish for years but I got so caught up in what was and wasn't glueten free that I ordered something that I thought had either shrimp or chicken.It came out (thank God ) with a shrimp on the side showing. I freaked out and then realized that it was my mistake.Shelby the manager was SO, SO kind and understanding and had me a new dinner out in just a few minutes!!!?
