    Medium 12" Cheese Pizza
    Mahia Z.

Come here for the pizza ! We were really hungry and needed a quick bite to eat in the area. We got the garlic knots and a medium pizza with mushroom and olives. It came out quickly. We didn't really like the garlic knots since they were cold and the marinara wasn't very good, so our expectations were lowered for the pizza. To our surprise, the pizza was pretty good! We enjoyed it!

I came here because my buddy wanted to try the place out. I always was curious about pizza here as well. The parking lot is a little small as it shares with Vision Work and At&t, I came here on a week night and there was a decent crowd here. We were seated right away. I ordered the New Yorker Pizza by the slice and a Caesar Salad. Service was good but unfortunately the Caesar salad was the highlight of my dinner. The pizza was not hot and cheese was hard and not melted. I guess I am used to having hot and melted cheese on my Pizza. There was way too much olives and not enough meats. The pizza did not taste good. I had frozen pizza from Krogers better than this. Actually the Digorno's Pizza tastes better. I probably won't be coming back for the pizza, but may try something else next time. Like I said, service and cleanliness of the restaurant was great but the pizza i got was just not good.

We had a Stromboli and a Calzone. They were both good! Fresh, and hot! HUGE! The service is very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The feel of the place is almost like a sports bar, TVs are playing all the games. Families are there with children. It's clean and overall a good place! I will go back!

Food is amazing! My husband got the small 5 meat stromboli (which really isn't small) and I had the pesto panini (because he hates pesto and I love it). We live 20-25 minutes away and he said he wished we had one of these closer to home. We will definitely be back!

Brooklyn Joe's is EXCELLENT. The portions are big and the service is excellent. Our server Topper was great. The atmosphere is pizzeria/sports bar and cozy. The establishment is clean with a great selection of beer and wine. We had mozzarella stocks and fried zucchini to start. Both were very good. For dinner, we had pizza, chicken parm, Alfredo, and wings. Everything was served hot and was delicious. We will definitely be com8ng back!

Slice of pepperoni and slice of meatball

This place never disappoints! I posted reviews in the past, but today we picked up an extra large margarita pizza a slice of pepperoni, and a slice of meatball. The pizza is delicious, of course, but if you've never tried the whiskey, battered onion rings... You need to because they are phenomenal! I would skip the chipotle ranch because they are perfect all by themselves! You can actually taste the onion inside the perfect batter that has a flavor. There is nothing frozen about these. Something I've noticed is some of this staff either really likes working here, or they are family because they've been here a long time. They take pride in what they do and treat people they way you wish everyone would.

Great family friendly restaurant with good food and service. We have ordered most things on the menu and everything is good. Our favorites are the salads, chicken parm sub, pizza, chicken Marsala and chicken francese.

The pizza is great but the delivery times and hours are tight. Basically order before 8 or they will not deliver. At least not where we are. We are about 7 miles away and if we don't order by 8 they tell us they can't deliver. The pizza is awesome... not to this crunchy crust with a chewy inside... lots of toppings to choose from and the flavor is fantastic! This is one of those places that I would always order from... but I really need some better delivery hours!

Everyone we've had since has been just as good. They're friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and somehow able to memorize a huge list of specials. They really make us feel like part of the family. The Escargots Casa Nuova is our favorite appetizer. The garlic butter is delicious and perfect for dipping the bread in. I had never had anything like the Cannelloni Florentina before, but it was very tasty. It's a smaller dish, but it packs a punch! The Tortellini in Champagne Sauce was so good that I cleaned the plate. I also really like the decor. It has an Italian home feel, with paintings, flowers, wine, and knickknacks everywhere (and apparently a lot of local history). Casa Nuova is a little further of a drive for us, but it's one of the best Italian places I've found in the area. I'm looking forward to bringing more family here.

But this experience was genuinely special. From the service to the food to the atmosphere, everything exceeded expectations. Despite a packed dining room, the staff delivered a level of attentiveness that felt effortless. Our server had an incredible command of the menu, rattling off a lengthy list of specials from memory with impressive detail. The entire team worked in sync--bringing bread, refilling drinks, offering fresh grated cheese, clearing plates without rushing us, and striking just the right balance of friendliness and professionalism. What really set the evening apart were the personal touches. The matriarch of the restaurant (or at least who I assume was the matriarch) circulated through the dining room making sure guests were enjoying themselves. At one point she proudly announced that the osso buco was ready--a charming moment that felt less like a sales pitch and more like someone sharing something they genuinely loved. Before we left, she gave my wife and daughter sunflowers from her garden, carefully prepared with the leaves removed and stems wrapped in foil. Then she sent us home with fresh zucchini. Along with everything else, these folks have figured out how to make dining personal. It felt less like eating in a restaurant and more like being welcomed into someone's lovely home--where there is genuine pride and gratitude that you've joined them for dinner. That's a rare feeling today, and Casa Nuova delivers it naturally. And then there's the food. The Oysters Rockefeller were outstanding. The fried mozzarella was exceptional. The Pesce Fra Diavola--with clams, mussels, calamari, and scallops--was perfectly prepared and served in a sauce that complemented rather than overwhelmed the seafood. The veal scallopini was tender, beautifully seasoned, and expertly sauced. Even our daughter's simple pasta dish was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Honestly, I'm almost afraid to go back because I don't know how they could possibly do better. Casa Nuova delivered one of the most memorable restaurant experiences I've had in a very long time. My sincere thanks to everyone at Casa Nuova for such a lovely evening. You made my wife, daughter, and me feel genuinely welcome, and we left with full stomachs, smiles on our faces, and an experience we'll remember for a long time.

Not too light though - any lighter and I might have asked for more seasoning. I enjoyed the flavors of the Tagliolini Bolognese. It was hearty, savory and I could see it being a comfort food me if I were a local. I would have liked the pasta to be on the Al dente side but it wasn't mushy to the point that there wasn't any chew. Also enjoyed the dessert. Great way to cap the meal. The vibe here was buzzing on a Friday evening which seemed promising. We opted to sit at the bar which I do NOT recommend if you plan on eating. It is extremely tight seating and the bartenders aren't not trained to serve food or have menu knowledge. The lack of the kitchen staff culinary skills became evident when looking at the menu with many seafood/pasta items being served with one sauce- a goopy cornstarch'ish lemon butter sauce. We wanted to try the scampi appetizer with their house made pasta - sans dairy which meant no lemon butter sauce. That seemed to throw a wrench and there was much back and forth between the BT to the kitchen explaining what that meant aka do not cook the food with butter use olive oil- not so complicated, right? 30 minutes later - despite the kitchen staff not being busy- reminder, we are sitting at the bar and watch the cooks looking at their cellphones instead of working... The small portion of a couple shrimp and scallops arrive. They were panned seared- highly seasoned but tasty. Pasta arrived dry ? Huh? Who serves dry pasta- ugh? I asked for olive oil again which never appeared despite a manager hearing the request. So, moving along, we decided to try the calamari. It came out much faster but the portion was enough for 8-10 people. BT- oh, I forgot to tell you it is such a large portion... Maybe offer a half portion? It was okay- nothing amazing except the quantity. So disappointed- we had high hopes that the vibe matched the food quality.

Lots of options for those who love the fishery part of the concept and just as many choices for those that don't. They have house made focaccia that when brought to the table we instantly regretted having ordered the bruschetta, thinking we overdid the bread thing. But we both quickly changed our minds and consumed both with little guilt... I would go back just for the focaccia alone and wish they sold it by the loaf! Pastas are made onsite but they get the gluten free version from a different supplier to avoid risk of cross contamination. Hubby had the wild boar pasta. I had the pork chop. My chop was perfectly grilled and moist. I asked for the marsala sauce on the side since I don't like mushrooms themselves, but enjoy the flavor they can add. The weakest link was the mashed potatoes, served in two round scoops reminiscent of school cafeteria lines. Other than the shape, there was nothing memorable nor particularly flavorful about them. Next time I would try a different side and keep the chop. We didn't save room for dessert this time but will definitely get some next time. And there will definitely be a next time. Moderate price point, not an everyday spot, but shouldn't be saved just for special occasions either.
