Went on a Sat night and it was crowded-I would say location vs. quality determines that. Had pizza and pasta for table of 4. Pasta was ok and smothered in sauce/cheese - not a great nor bad taste. Everything that we have had is excellent from the white pizza, ziti, sandwiches and more! Decently priced in a nice new building with a huge crowd every time that I am there. The employees are not the smartest and sometimes get the order a little wrong but are happy to replace it free of charge, even bought me a beer while they recooked my ziti with no meat. read more

My husband and I have become very selective about where we eat Italian food since moving to N GA five years ago. What we've noticed is that the sauce makes the restaurant. Most of the places up here seem content to sling canned sauce all over everything without actually tasting what they're serving to their customers. Upon our first visit to Brooklyn Joe's we noticed a drastic difference. To put it plane their sauce is perfect which makes the pizza, subs, and anything else they serve just as wonderful. I am usually at Brooklyn Joe's for Lunch since I work close by. I grew up in the northeast and trust me, not all pizza is created equal. That being said, Brooklyn Joe's does a fantastic job with their pie. The crust is thin and crunchy, the sauce is not too sweet and they don't skimp on toppings. Best gluten free pizza in the area. Toppings are generous and good quality, their sauce is fresh, and the crust is a tasty GF thin crust. They do offer gluten free pasta but I've never ordered it....I love the pizza too much! The wheat eaters in our family also love their pizza and are very happy with the crust, sauce, and quality (and one of them is from New York). We have great service and the atmosphere is exactly right for a family pizza place. Highly recommend for gluten free and wheat eaters alike. read more

Also as a manager in a professional business , I did not appreciate the servers standing around talking negatively about other workers .. Take it to the back or discuss with management . I love this place. The pizza is by far the best. They opened one on Cumming Highway (GA 20) in Canton and we can't get enough of it. Their cheese pizza is anything but plain. It's full of flavor. One of the best Pizzas in Alpharetta/Milton. Pizzas. stromboli, calzones, pasta and salads plus some sandwiches all the pizzaria fair are represented. Large generic lobby which fills up on Friday and Saturday. Clean place and the kitchen is open to the lobby. Service is often efficient but there are a few servers that are not as good as the others. Large selection of toppings, great family bite to eat on the weekends or anytime. Yes they delivery, rarely takes less than 30-45 minutes and I live nearby. I would go alone to grab a beer and a slice and watch a game or with my family to get out of the house without spending a fortune. If you are ordering pizza for a children's event go somewhere else, children will enjoy it, but it is adults who will appreciate Joe's pizza over one of the large chains the most. read more

This place had the worst sicilian cheese pizza ever. Nothing good to say about it. I had it delivered and it came with the cheese flowing into the sides of the box. The crust was thick and hard, it tasted oily. Incase you are even a little health conscious, don't even think about it. There are pizzas which you can eat and NOT feel guilty about. This pizza was not even worth any guilt. It had a thick layer of cheese that tasted like rubber. Also they charged me over $2 additional for sprinkling roma tomatoes over the pizza. I could have done that at home. I cannot say enough about my bad experience. read more

Good food-Bad service... you better check that your order is correct before you leave if you get your order "to go". I say this because they seem to mess up my phoned in "to go" orders approx. 30% of the time! Example: Today I ordered a "Da Bronx" Stromboli. (chicken /feta) When I got home is was a regular Stromboli. (disappointing) On another occasion, I ordered a regular Stromboli and when I got home I discovered it was a Cal zone! (Just cheese and bread) I called the manager "Brian" about the Cal zone and all he insisted that I must have ordered a Cal zone and not a Stromboli. I am 100% sure I did not order a Cal Zone! He did not handle the situation well at all. Had lunch here yesterday. Welcoming staff but once they take your order and you get your food they are definitely not "hovering". It would be nice if they stopped by once or twice to see if everything was okay. I ordered a Greek salad but was given a regular garden salad. I didn't say anything and the salad was fresh and very tasty. I had the veggie pizza and veggies were fresh with just the right amount of cheese. The crust was the best part. It was not doughy and just crispy enough. I think the pizza could have been a little hotter when served, and something on there was a bit watery which made the crust a little soggy in a few places (probably the tomatoes). I would definitely go back to try some other things. Lots of competition among pizza places, so consistency is key. read more

Me and my fiance went to this place about a month after it opened. Although service was not that great, that is not the major issue. We ordered a supreme pizza and a slice of plain cheese sicilian. The sicilian was average. The supreme was not average. It was far worse. The waitress brought it out and the first thing that popped into my head was that it looked and smelled like a frozen digiorno pizza. Not only did it look and smell like it, it tasted like it too. We didn't say much during the meal, only shooting each other glances across the table like, "What the heck are we eating. Is this place for real?" After we walked out the door, I turned to him and blurted out, "Ok, was it just me, or was that a frozen digiorno?" My fiance looked at me and said that he was thinking the exact same thing! Sorry, but if I want to eat frozen pizza, I'll buy it from Kroger for $5 and not for $20 from this joke of a pizzeria. Terrible. read more

Probably on the list of the top 5... worst places I've been to. I ordered the Shrimp Scampi and close to 25-30 minutes it made its way to my table, cold. Normally that's something I can look past if it tastes alright, but it didn't. Not only was it cold, the sauce used had a very strong artificial lemon flavor to it, and I mean really strong as it was the only thing you tasted. The shrimp seemed to be shelled and viened in house but had tiny bits of shell attached to them and in the pasta. The garlic rolls that came with my order were burnt with not a hint of garlic flavor. And on top of that with 6-8 people behind the counter literally just standing around in a pretty empty restuarnt, it took 20 minutes to get the check and another 45 minutes after having the check with my card sit there on the corner of the table for someone to come by and take it.
