This was our first visit to Smoke on the Farm on Crabapple in Milton. We had a very good experience. I would definitely consider returning. The service was excellent. Aurora, our server was personable, attentive, and knowledgeable. She gave great menu recommendations. They offer indoor dining room as well as patio seating. The appetizer options were quite accommodating. You can order individual wings or ribs, which is an excellent way to try more menu options. We tried a couple of the Smoked Baby Back Ribs and the Smoked Jumbo Wings. The wings have a signature seasoning and are accompanied by Scratch Blue Cheese or Alabama White Sauce. We tried one of each. I tried the Knife and Fork Brisket Sandwich with a side of Mac & Cheese. The sandwich comes with sliced brisket, house BBQ sauce, SOTF slaw, and a mission bakery sweet potato roll. My family tried the Pulled Pork and Broasted Chicken sandwiches, as well as the Smash on the farm Burger. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. Our first visit to Smoke on the Farm was particularly positive. The service and food were outstanding. Almost nailed a 5! What was the let down: drinks! A $14 Maragarita was a waste of time. Poorly made sadly by the owner I think! OUCH! Probably best to stick to bottle or canned beer. We are from FL, we eat out alot. We find it rare for good service, good food and good drinks. We usually see 2! Here we got good food and good service. Holly was kind, polite, efficient. A true Rockstar. Lets talk food where they won us over: The onion soup is addictive, on point, nade me weep with joy. Real onion soup not onion broth. Ribs were amazing. Just butta! Fell off bone, sweet and sticky. Platter Sampler for $27 was the way to go. Loved the beans, hearty and different. So our main bill for 2 was about $60. $13 soup $3.50 tea (good, strong) $14 margaritas (fail) $27 platter We took another $70 in food home: wings, chicken, brisket for friends that we are visiting. 130 + $26 in tip, so appprox $158 well spent! Thanks to Holly for great, respectful service. What should they fix: the cocktails. I think they are ambitious in name only, but the bartender isnt equipped to crank them out properly or fast. This restaurant is located in the heart of Crabapple district. The parking area is right next to a neighborhood and series of shops/restaurants so it can get a little busy. Upon entering the restaurant, the bar is visible immediately. There is a small indoor dining area and outdoor patio area for the good weather. I was seated right away and the hostess were super friendly. I ordered the Pulled Pork sandwich which comes with side. I chose the coleslaw for my side. I also had the sweet tea as my drink. Onto the Pulled Pork sandwich. It was very tasty and flavorful. I love their bbq flavor sauce. The coleslaw was amazing as well. Waitress service was great. I really can't wait to come back again to try different stuff of their menu. I highly recommend this BBQ spot if your in the Crabapple area. read more

We decided to give this place a try and came away with a solid overall impression. The atmosphere was comfortable, and the staff did a great job making us feel welcome from the start. The menu had a nice variety, making it easy for everyone to find something appealing. The food arrived fresh, with generous portions and plenty of flavor. What a wonderful addition to Crabapple. This local owned business is located near Campania and The Butcher Shoppe. They have a full bar when you walk in and the hostess can be found just around the corner before the tables. One unique feature is that you can order their wings, ribs and chicken fingers individually as appetizers or as a meal. We have tried them all and they are fantastic. Another thing my family loves about this establishment is the local family feel you get. You will see the family working when you are there and really get a sense of who you are supporting and their hospitality. They want everyone well taken care of. All in all - it's cute, it's clean, it has fantastic food and great service. Not sure what more you could ask for - this is a MUST TRY! read more

We've been here more than a few times now and have had nothing but great experiences. The service is top notch and the outdoor patio is a great spot to eat. They have a few tables inside as well and a long bar with TVs. The staff is so friendly and it has that community feel. Parking can get tight if all the businesses in the strip mall are open, but most dinner times, things around it are closed so it's not a problem. Their menu is simple, but good. My favorite thing about it is that you can order ribs and wings by the rib or wing, meaning you can get one rib and 2 wings if you want. There are not any flavors of wings, just a dryish rub that is smoke filled, so good! The ribs are hefty and well sauced as well. The mac and cheese is top notch made with quality ingredients you can taste. read more

Very nice spot on Crabapple. Beautiful inside with sweet outdoor seating as well. Service was fast and friendly. Pricing is a little high for lunch ($20 each) but not terrible given the ambiance. However, the pulled pork sandwich I had was just ok. It was more chopped than pulled and comes with the sauce already on it. To me those are always red flags that the meat isn't same day fresh. While it's certainly a choice, it's not my favorite clean BBQ. Husband really liked the Cuban and based on prior reviews we may try the wings next time. read more

Currently our favorite BBQ place! The service was wonderful. The interior is small but is cozy and charming. They have a nice bar inside and also a nice patio. We split the smokehouse sampler to try a little of everything. I really enjoyed their dry rub on the meats but they also bring out BBQ sauce if you ask. Between the chicken, pulled pork, brisket and smoked rib my least favorite item was the brisket but I still enjoyed that. Love the pickles they include with the meal. Coleslaw was good and the baked beans were fine (I'm just not a huge fan of baked beans). Cornbread was great too. Overall a great experience and I look forward to trying other menu items. read more

Served with chips. - Cuban: I didn't expect this to be my favorite at a BBQ spot, but the flavor was great on amazing sourdough toast We ate family style, so we all tasted a lot. The rest: - Broasted chicken: for the two who grew up eating this, they loved it. I hate having to use whole numbers to rate a restaurant but felt it was closer to a 3. Heard great things about the restaurant and loved the menu. There is a hostess stand but evidently no hostess and after 10 minutes wrote my name in. Got a table rather quickly and it was busy for Father's Day. Sat outside ordered the corn salad. Waitress came over twice apologizing that the kitchen is way behind. Okay. Second time 15 minutes later it will be right out. We got out our entrees as we cancelled the appetizer. Nice little restaurant. Pretty packed on Saturday night but we came in after 8 and were seated immediately. Street corn crema appetizer was tasty! Not sure if it was supposed to be hot as it came out luke warm on the outside and chilled in the middle. They just sold out of ribs, which we were bummed about. We tried the smoked wings. The flavor was fantastic. But they were not crispy at all. I think they came from a warmer. There was no dipping sauce, not the end of the world but they ended up being dry. I had the Cubano. It was very good. But my wife had the Turkey Smelt... best item ordered according to others that tried it. A friend had a side serving of brisket. It was okay. Just a little dry and again, no sauce was served. I wanted to like the chili. It was just okay. The fact that I didn't finish it says all there is to say. Like the wings and the appetizer, it was served lukewarm. They could have offered crackers and hot sauce. A friend had the tenders on a salad. She liked the salad and dressing but the tenders looked brown (over fried) and she noted they were dry. The owner was nice. Her daughter was our server and was as sweet as a button. I'd love to see this place succeed, but it was inconsistent from one meal to the next. To the owner: If you fix one thing... fix the crispiness of the wings. read more

This was our first time coming to this place and I'm so glad we did! This is such a cute little restaurant! The staff were super friendly and the food was excellent! I got the smash burger and my husband got the chicken sandwich. There was absolutely nothing here that I didn't like. That burger was probably one of the best I've ever had! Outstanding service from start to finish! They were kind enough to accept a call-ahead for seating, which made things super convenient. The full bar is impressive, and bartender Sara is amazing--she suggested adding a splash of Bailey's to my espresso martini, and it made all the difference! Great neighborhood BBQ spot in Crabapple with an elevated farm to table vibe. From the moment you walk in the door there is a smiling face to greet you. Start with an order of wings, they are fantastic, pickles are amazing and as you would expect, anything BBQ is exceptional. My two favorites are the salmon sandwich and smash mouth burger. First visit for us, we went with pulled pork sandwiches and fries/mac-n-cheese. I usually prefer a more vinegar based BBQ with an ah jus that's dippable, but holy moly was this a great sandwich! Tender pork that wasn't overpowered by the rub, it was fantastic! Fries were great and so was the mac. I saw some reviews mentioning the pickles and can confirm those are great as well. I'm from out of town & found this place after searching for a good restaurant with a high rating. I arrived to the restaurant & was greeted & sat down in the bar. I wound up ordering some of the wings which were awesome & also enjoyed the turkey smelt with mac & cheese for my side. It was all very delicious & enjoyed it alot. I was served by Maryn who did a marvelous job & took care of checking on me after I was eating. I recommend this place especially since I enjoy really amazing BBQ. I may have to do a return visit before I head back home. I was asked by Jennifer if everything went well & how was the food & I had a nice conversation with her as I told her this was my 1st time in Georgia.
