Ordered banana peppers and they gave me bell peppers. Paid for extra dressing that was not in the bag. Okay I've had a change of heart. I won't get the wings anymore but their pizza is amazing. Some of the best I've had in Roswell. They have really good specials. Medium 3 topping for 7.99 or Large 1 topping for 7.99. The prices are really good and you get a lot of bang for your buck. The pizza as alway hot and fresh. A lot of cheese that's just oozing off of the pizza . It's very delicious. I normally order to go since it's right by one of my jobs. Me and my coworkers all love this place. The pizza here is very good! I'm glad I was able to find a place that sold pizza by the slice nearby my home. The slices have more than enough cheese and sauce, and they are big slices! On another visit we also tried the calzone and chicken tenders with fries. Both were also very good. I just wish the fries were a little more crispy, but they weren't bad! The calzone is HUGE and everything was reasonably priced. I see that they also sell vegan pizza which is great because now we have an option for when are vegan friends are over. Wow talk about amazing customer service! I had an Uber Eats order from here but the Uber driver never delivered my food. I called Star Pizza & Pasta and they hand delivered my food 30 minutes later free of charge for something that was out of their control. Also surprised by the negative reviews as I would like this place to be successful. I always drop by there when I am in that area of Roswell/Alpha. To be fair, most people are complaining about the delivery or taking an order over the phone. I've never done that. I come in and get their 2 slice special, which is a great deal for 2 huge slices and less than $6. The crust is excellent. The fresh bread smell in my car is crazy good if I take the slices to go. They also use good quality cheese and apply more sauce than a lot of places, which I like. Admittedly, the inside of the restaurant is not that nice. One star pizza..and only because I can't do zero stars.. I love trying new places to eat. I really do. Unfortunately, this was the worst. Everything from customer service to food quality was an issue. Where do I begin.. We walked from the In Town Suits conveniently located pretty much right behind Star Pizza. We walked into what seemed like a work in progress, to the left there was what looked like an old stove they used to use which had pizza boxes stacked to the dirty ceiling. To my right and down the hall there was a bathroom. On the way to the bathroom was a bunch of power tools, wood, and nails which were scattered everywhere from the dining room tables to the bathroom sink. The bathroom door didn't seem to close properly and while I was taking a leak the door opened by itself somehow I guess from movement outside. We then were greeted by a guy who attempted to ring in our order. After we were done ordering he went to the back of the house and we were again approached by another employee who I assumed must be the manager. He then asked us again what we wanted. I chose the single slice of pizza (includes two toppings) with only cheese, it came with a salad for the low price of $4.50 my future wife chose the 7 inch club sub. We then paid and took a seat. During the 15 min wait II noticed some activity on the wall behind my girlfriend. It was a cockroach. At that point I realized that coming to this place was a big mistake. Our order was to go so we walked back to our hotel and attempted to eat. The french fries that came with her meal was the best part of the meal. I couldn't imagine anyone screwing up french fries.. I tried my pizza. It tasted literally no different that a Tostino's microwaveable pizza with extra cheese. I have included a picture which you will see is absolutely disgusting. There was a small piece of peperoni on it as well I guess it was the best part other than the fact I wanted plain cheese. I couldn't believe that they used bacon bits instead of actual bacon on the sub. The flavor of everything was reduced because of the amazing amount of mayo they put on it. I couldn't believe I was making it out the door for 12$ for so much food.. Now I see why. I will never come here again. Its a rare occasion where I actually make a yelp review as this is my first one. I really feel as if people need to know. I read the reviews and they are either completely fabricated or may have made some really good pizza in the past. I hope something is done about this. I hope I am not sick in the morning because I did eat some of it. All these people upset that their order is incorrect.. After spending a night of painting we were starving and looking for something quick and good. Star Pizza was there to deliver. Other experiences have been okay, but this time it was pretty amazing. Get yourself one of their lunch specials, 2 slices and a drink, or a slice, salad and drink for under $5. The thing you go to star pizza for is the alternate universe you enter upon crossing through the doorway. There is a fine pho-brick theme going on, with a coffee sign that I'm pretty sure belonged to the place that was there before. The cash register.......ah the cash register, let's just say you help them out if you pay with credit, as you generally get the "handful o' change" grab bag type approach if they have to break any form of currency. There's a key involved in opening the cash register too, which is another great process to witness. The staff is.....interesting, all with their own subplots going on, I'll let you discover those though.....and just wait till you wander to the bathroom/storage closet/possible extra living quarters. All in all, it's fun quirky experience if you dont mind the weirdness, and like a slice of pie for cheap......I'd stick to the pizza too if I was you. read more

Star Pizza has the best pizza in Georgia. I grew up in an area with a lot of first and second generation Italians, and because of that the pizza of my youth was high quality and distinctive. For ten years after I moved to Georgia I hated the pizza no matter where I went, because it just never tasted right. And then I tried this little pizza place down the street from my house, and finally I found what I'd been missing all those years! I don't know if its the ingredients, the quality, or the way they cook it (maybe all of the above?), but finally I found real pizza again. The man who runs this location is super nice and the pizza is ready quickly and made consistently the same (perfect!) every time. There are so many good pizza places, so I haven' that had here yet, but I have to say the cheesesteak is pretty good. If you are looking for 100 percent authentic, they only get a C+ as I believe they grill the meal, but put it on the roll and toast it in the oven. After getting our order incorrect a VERY, VERY rude driver was dispatched to bring back our correct order. The jerk of a driver made a big deal about the fact that they didn't charge us for extra mayonnaise and got an attitude with one of my co-workers.
