The massage was very good but it's important to say how much pressure you want and how much time to spend on your various tense spots. They can't read your mind!! Everyone is different. I was a bit skeptical at first because of the extremely affordable pricing but I was pleasantly surprised. Knocked off a star bc my masseuse didn't understand my request in English. However she did call over another staff person and I explained I wanted to do 30 minutes and then decide if I needed more/enjoyed it and then would upgrade to an hour. They were happy to accommodate but I can see how the language barrier could be an issue if you had any more specific requests. There was a particular part of my leg where I asked for "less strong" and she did totally get that and accommodated my request immediately. I enjoy deep tissue back massages and sometimes feel it's hard to find a place where that is actually executed so I was very pleased with this. It was cleaner than I expected but not some super spa experience but definitely clean and I felt comfortable the whole time. This place is nice and much cleaner than most of the places I go to in Chinatown. I requested Stephen after reading the good reviews from other Yelpers and I couldn't have been happier. It was definitely a torturous deep tissue back and foot combo but--no pain, no gain! Stephen told me I was super tight, which explains why he was huffing and puffing totally out of breathe from how knotty I was. It was pretty much an hour of straight elbow work. I was literally sweating bullets and barely able to breathe( but I think that's a good thing for greater results). I didn't get the hot stones though which was a little disappointing. I didn't have to sit in the chairs in the front for my foot massage which was great cuz I just got to lay and get it done after my strenuous back work. 1 star off because Stephens phone wouldn't stop ringing and then he had to answer it and yelled on the phone which was definitely distracting, but it's not like I was in a deep relaxed calm state anyway so I didn't mind. I'm happy all in all. I hope this will resolve the neck issue I've been having for the last few months. For $35,I'd definitely recommend this place. read more

I got a 45 min foot reflexology and was charged $35. However the sign outside said 1 hour for $38. That doesn't make sense. Also I didn't get the full 45 minutes. Massage was just okay. I wouldn't go back. read more

I was desperate for a chair massage to alleviate the stiff neck/shoulder syndrome of all the stress compounded by Covid. An appt was available right away, but it was very difficult to understand the person on the phone to make the appt. He didn't seem to comprehend when I asked "What kind of precautions are you taking to prevent Covid infections?" He kept saying "Yes, yes". And I'd say "What kind?" He'd say "Yes." Anyway, I figured I'd get there and see for myself. The place was open, cool and empty except for what sounded like a massage in the back. When I entered, the one-masked gentleman took my temp with a radar- gun thing, he misted me with some antibacterial spray all over and then I signed a form. The chair was spray disinfected, and also sprayed after my massage was over. The same one masked-guy gave the massage which was wonderful. I left feeling enough precautions were taken to ensure my safety, certainly more than you can control going to grocery stores or post offices. read more

This is definitely my new spot to go to for massages. Found this treasure on yelp and it was the best choice. My boyfriend and I went for full body massages for 60 minutes. We found parking as soon as we got to the area, which was perfect. The moment you walk in your greeted by the staff and they sanitize you down. Literally they spray you down and check your temperature, which I loved. My boyfriend and I opted for separate rooms and we were immediately escorted to the back. The place is really clean and the ambiance is great. My masseuse was a small woman but she was so filled with strength, Catherine was her name I believe. She knew exactly where to apply the most pressure and got rid of every single knot. I asked for deep pressure and she really delivered. There were moments where she really went at it and I was in heaven. My boyfriend also received a woman who was so great for him too. The prices are really great too and they put hot stones and hot towels on us after. I'm definitely coming back. Only thing that confused my boyfriend and I was that we didn't know a single price of the session. We weren't offered a selection to choose from, they were just like "one hour massage" ? I said yes but still I wish we knew what we were getting exactly. But other than that, this is my new massage place! read more

Went yesterday for a massage and facial and foot reflexology, I had the worst experience in my life. The whole time I was being hurt, no matter what I said it did not help, no one understood English. The men were so rough that today I can't even move my neck and back. My feet are actually sore from foot reflexology. I tried to tell front desk girl who spoke English and she was just so rude she said well if I did not like it I should of left instead of staying for whole massage. She was not interested in improving her service at all. Over all never would go back and no one else should cause if they do they risk serious injury because they do not know what they are doing. read more

Their English isn't stellar but other than that, this place is awesome. Comparable in price to the other places of its kind. One noteworthy thing in comparing it to other places in the neighborhood, is that it's clean and I'm inclined to say the cleanest. If you pay in cash, it's about $7 cheaper for the one hour massage. I think my girl's name was Shasha and she was really good. I recently went to Sage and this was by far better and I paid a lot less. read more

After my first time there, I can already tell this will be my favorite massage place in the neighborhood. It's clean and well-maintained, and the people there were friendly and relaxed. I went with the 30 minute foot rub + 30 minute massage, and both were excellent. The woman who worked on me, Amy, had great technique and was focused and engaged the whole time. I had asked her to give extra attention to my crazy-tight hamstrings and upper back, which she did, and she made sure to ask if I was okay when she really dug in. Her massage was firm but purposeful, so there were never uncomfortable moments or unnecessary pain. Really great stuff, best one I've had in years. I'm shocked this place has exclusively five-star reviews because my experience was horrible. The space is clean and warm but my full-body massage was deeply disappointing and I nearly left in the middle. The massage therapist ignored my instruction to focus on my upper back some five times and, despite my gesturing and spoken request, he had to call in another employee to translate what I was saying, even though I feel it should have been pretty clear from my repeated gesturing. He focused far too much on my butt, despite me pushing his hands away multiple times. He kept driving his hands into my hips and massaging directly on bone, which was painful. He never once attempted to communicate with me in any way, which made the sudden, surprise dribbling of a far too hot liquid on my back at the end especially unpleasant. Maybe I got the one bad apple employed here, or maybe this place is only good for foot massages (which are provided in an open space in the front) and nothing more. My massage therapist seemed like a sweet guy who meant well and was obviously struggling with a huge language barrier but in addition to the total lack of communication his technique was terrible and he had cuts on his fingers which irritated my skin while he was massaging it and was also just plain gross. Steer clear of here, there are plenty of other competing businesses in the neighborhood in the same price range which have equally pleasant atmosphere. read more

I was there today to get a foot message the guy got the lady from the back she came out she was yawning over and over and wasn't focused on her job she keep looking outside like she was in another world and kept yawning . When she heard someone from the back walking then she gave me the massage with enthusiasm but she was not in the mood to work never once she said one word to me . I didn't walk out because the massage was for one hour and it was a gift certificate at one point i look at the camera and shake my head saying NO i figure that at 11:40 AM she will be up and ready to work and make the client feel good about going there the place is clean i didn't mind sitting by the window . I was very excited to go and get the foot massage it's a shame because i was going to get a back massage too but i will be going to another place also i didn't like the smell of the cream she used on me some places they ask you if u like the smell if not the used another one i didn't bother asking to change the cream cuz i was disgusting with the service i just wanted to get out of there fast . I don't ever leave bad reviews but I feel the need to share my experience here. It was awful. When I came in, I told the person manning check-in that I wanted a deep tissue massage focusing on my neck, back and shoulders. What I got was -- I honestly can't even explain it. This was not a massage by any stretch of the imagination. The man rubbed my back over and over. He was not in any way experienced in massages, nor did he know what he was doing. There was no kneading, nothing. Just up and down, rubbing my back, the way you'd pet a dog. I asked him several times to please stop. He ignored me. He spoke no English and didn't understand. I explained that I wanted the focus to be on my neck and shoulders. Instead, he kept going up and down my back. I left 20 minutes into it, because it was terrible, unprofessional and completely useless. Let me say that I have gotten tons and tons of massages, some great, some OK. This doesn't even rate in the "bad" category. It was appalling. read more
