This is a clean and simple massage parlor at an affordable price. The masseuses are strong, so you really get those knots out. We booked a day ahead for two 45 minute massages ($45 each), which was perfect. The minute we arrived, we were led down the hall and into our own rooms although it's not a full barrier, so you can still hear everything. You strip down to your underwear and lay on the bed with the provided towel over you. You can let your masseuse know how strong of pressure you prefer and if there's an area to focus on. I didn't give much direction, but he'd check if I'm OK every once in awhile. I personally loved how strong the massage was as he worked from my neck to my back to arms to legs. It was a great full body massage. Some parts were painful, but a good painful. Definitely will be back whenever I need to reduce pain and muscle tension. read more

I got an hour long massage here recently. I walked in and was taken right away and yeah, it was just what I needed. The massage was thorough and deep, just as I needed. The price was right and the atmosphere was no thrills but clean. The only gripe is my masseuse darted out a few times to (wo)man the door and answer the phone. Worst massage experience of my life. 5 minutes in to an eerily silent massage room (no music) I hear ridiculously loud SNORING coming from the other side of the partition. I assume it was another customer who had fallen asleep during his massage and hoped it would stop soon. As it progressed louder and louder for over 10 minutes I finally asked the masseuse to please put on some music so I would not have to listen to this obnoxious sound during my massage. She informs me it is not a customer, but THE OWNER who is NAPPING in the bed and she has been instructed NOT to turn the music back on until he wakes up. This is where I should have packed up and walked out but given my back was killing me I decided to stick it out. My massage got worse and worse with the woman basically dry rubbing my skin with no lotion and completely ignoring the area of my back that I told her was hurting. I asked her 3 times to use more pressure, please use lotion and focus on my middle back, of which she did none. It was the most uncomfortable, stressful hour of what should have a been a relaxing massage. I will never go back here and would advise no one to ever visit this unprofessional, disgraceful business. read more

After enjoying a delicious sushi meal at Ki Sushi on Smith Street, my wife and I decided to stop into Relaxation Garden (on Smith) on our way home, to get some post-prandial massage. Mind you, we had patronized Relaxation Garden (formerly Anna Two Rabbits Qi Gong). After negotiating with the woman at the desk, she informed us that we would have to wait for her boss. The boss lady would then drive us in her car to another massage establishment nearby on Court Street. It was a bit unusual, but it was raining, and apparently Relaxation Garden and this other, unnamed spa, operated in tandem. Again, we trusted Relaxation Garden. So we waited and finally our chariot arrived to ferry us to unknown massage pastures. Actually it was a Honda Civic. But we exchanged niceties with the boss lady and wondered if we were going to be kidnappped or not. Next stop....OCEAN SPA on Court Street. We both received terrific 45 minute Tui Na massages. All of the stress of weekday life (and weird business practices) melted away. We couldn't have been happier. read more

It is a typical Tui-na massage place with curtains and dividers separating the individual areas. What it lacks in ambiance is made up for with the deep-tissue work. I am extremely picky when it comes to deep-tissue massage so I was very pleasantly surprised with the degree of attention to my neck and back. The therapist did not rush through these areas to make sure they were able to address the whole body, but rather took their time and spent an hour working out the tough spots. Massage was great - perfect pressure and requests for where to focus, change pressure, etc., were quickly honored. The owner - who gave me my massage - had to attend to another customer after we started (which took only a few seconds) but he ended up adding another 10 minutes(!) onto my massage at no cost.
