I found this place thanks to some fellow members of the Yelp Elite Squad and I am thankful for the community rec's. This place did not disappoint. I went for a couple's massage shorter after Christmas and they although other people may have been there at the time, it felt like they diligently catered to us. The space was very tranquil with the zen music playing throughout the spa and waterfall noises. I was so deep in the moment, I couldn't even tell if the water was sound coming from the speakers or if there was an actual mini fountain in the room lol. The couples massage room was also very spacious, clean, and smelled like faint essential oils. Not overpowering but enough to add to the chill vibe. My massage was great and I was even a little jealous that I opted out of a warming oil that they put on my partner instead. I'm a big fan of doing just about everything online so when I went to the website and saw that appointments could be booked online I was ecstatic. I was soon bummed though because the feature on the webpage does not work. Ho Hum. They should probably update their webpage as it says "Welcome to Eden Spa..." on the treatments page. The first time I went I was able to use the Yelp deal of $5 for $10 off and I had a groupon deal the second time. First visit: upon walking in there are a few comfy chairs to the right. This is where I had the foot massage portion of the massage. There's no curtains or anything in this part of the place and if another patron was next to me I would have felt odd. After that we went into a small massage room which was private with walls and a curtain. Overall good massage. As I was paying the cashier said "be sure to leave a yelp review..." Second visit: Though I had the same massage package, the massage was completely inside the room. The masseuse was male this time and used a bit more strength but overall still good. The only place I now come for massages. I truly like this place and I usually pay cash so it's cheaper. I have only had 1 bad experience and that's bc I walked in without and appointment and towards the end of my massage was asked if I would get dressed and and go wait in the lobby bc they over booked. Of course I said no bc I was deep in relaxation and to get dressed and then undressed again would have been completely ridiculous. I came in for a full body massage and noted that I had bad lower back pain, and while they did a good back massage this was the only full body massage I've ever had that didn't include the feet which was disappointing. Maybe since I specifically said my back hurt they focused on my back? Also not sure if related but about 30 min later my leg started to hurt? Now I have back and leg pain...the masseuse did some high pressure/pushing thing on the thighs and butt area so maybe that's why my leg hurt, never had that done anywhere else either. I wanted to love it here because the place is spotless. I initially purchased a gift card for my friend, he liked it so I decided to go myself. I made an appointment came in and was shown to my room. It was very clean and modern. I was surprised I had a male Massage therapist but, I didn't mind as long as it was good. FYI if you mind having a male therapist make it clear you want a female. During the massage I heard people checking out/in and arriving for there appointments which was a bit annoying so if you go request a room away from the door. The massage seemed a bit uncoordinated as they spent an ample amount of time massaging me with a towel over me for a while which I found a bit odd. When they asked me to turn over they spend a little time massaging my head and the massage was over. Definitely not worth it there same price/cheaper places in manhattan that does a better job at a similar price. The massage was great and the place is clean and well kept sand fully follows protocols. However the only complaint I had was that I couldn't be relaxed as the employees were constantly chatting in the middle of the massage. They do mot have doors just open curtains and everyone was just walking in and chatting with my therapist and she was totally distracted. I wish they kept it quiet! No frills massage for a decent price. A friend recommended it as such so went for a 90 minute massage. I asked for a lot of pressure but since my back and shoulders are really tight, the lady ran out of steam. She got tired toward the end so brought in some hot stones even though I didn't request them (didn't charge me for them). Otherwise a solid four stars. Took one off because like someone else mentioned it's really dark and you're in a small room just partitioned off by curtains (like a dressing room at a boutique). It was a little unnerving because it did feel like someone could walk right in while dressing; didn't help that people were walking by so got unnecessarily jumpy. If you don't have really tight muscles and looking for a no frills no nonsense massage this is a good find for a good price. read more

Oh my stars, this spot is phenomenal. I love Chinese style massage and go for it regularly, so I've become familiar with technique, price points and generally what to expect. This place is about on par price-wise with most other Chinese massage studios I've visited--but with the zen and quiet ambiance you'd expect from a much more expensive (and, IMO, less effective) western style spa. That in and of itself sets this place apart: typically this kind of massage is true body therapy, getting down to the business of beating out kinks with little regard for the look (or sound) of the space you're in. Not here. It's quiet, decorated beautifully and maintains its ambience in spite of its well trafficked street level location. Here, you've got the best of both worlds, AND if you're lucky like me and get Linda to work on you, you'll have the most skilled masseuse in the business working magic on your muscles. Overall, I enjoyed my experience here, but there are a few things to keep in mind if you want to come here for a foot massage. The foot massage chairs are in the front of the establishment next to the windows which are at ground level. We went later on at night, but I imagine during the day it is quite noisy with foot and vehicle traffic. There is also no divider between where the foot massages are done and the reception area, so entire conversations were being had at a regular volume with customers coming and going while we were getting massaged. This doesn't bother me so much, but if you go expecting quiet, it isn't going to happen most likely. It was also quite bright in the front room, but they were very accommodating and unscrewed a light bulb to dim it when we asked if they could dim the lights. The massages themselves were great and I could overlook the few minor annoyances for that reason alone. The place itself is very clean and new. read more

GREAT! GREAT! GREAT! I can't say that enough. I was in dire need of a massage recently because I've been using a lot of weights in my gym workouts and I have scoliosis. So combine those two things with winter and you have a super achy back for an extended period of time. After reading a billion cajillion Yelp reviews for different massage businesses in Brooklyn, I came across Brooklyn Net Wellness. I was skeptical to give them a try them because they seem fairly new and I didn't want to risk spending money on a mediocre massage. This was due to that fact that I took that chance just a week prior to visiting Brooklyn Net Wellness and that experience was unfortunate (meh). Sorry, Four Seasons Body Work... After reading the few reviews for Brooklyn Net Wellness, I decided that I was going to schedule an appointment with Steven. People mentioned him being very attentive to their needs and knowledgable about the muscular system. I have to second that! Steven is very skilled at what he does. I got a 60-mins back massage and bought the $10 for the $5 deal, so it was a total of $38. You cannot beat that! Other positives: the parlor was very clean, well lit and quiet. It's street-level of a Park Slope brownstone so you'll definitely hear a tad bit of road traffic, but not enough to taint your experience. They play soothing music in the background, which helps. So back to Steven! He tackled all the areas of concern I pointed out to him, especially my lower back and shoulders, which were full of knots!!! I only mentioned to him that I would like him to get to those places whenever he got a chance and, without my help, he found the tense areas and went to work on them. He used a bit of force with the knots, but I didn't raise hell because I needed those knots kneaded ASAP! The last 5 minutes, he applied the hot stones and I could've just gone to sleep right then and there. Euphoric! Ahh, I can't wait to be back! You can tell just by walking by that this place is well maintained and busy with happy customers. We got a couples 30 minute back massage, 30 minute foot reflexology. We were lead through the beautiful and minimalistic light wood entry way into a spacious room with two new massage tables, complete with cute pillows. The space was impeccably clean. I wouldn't have thought twice about eating off the floor. It's great to see people put a lot of care into a business. Both my fiancée and I agree that these were hands down the best bodywork and reflexology in the neighborhood. The gentleman who took care of me worked like an artist. I feel fantastic. Wow. I don't often leave reviews on Yelp but had to today. This place is probably one of the most amazing massage places I've been to. I have a terrible back from carrying heavy bags (hello laptop!) and working in front of a computer much of the day. I also work out with weights which doesn't help the soreness factor. I can't recall the massage therapists's name, but she was nothing short of amazing. My back feels as good as new, and that's saying a lot as most of the time I am usually left with a few knots. This is one of my favorite place for massage. The service is great. Very considerate. I was thirsty during the massage, they passed me a cup of water quickly. And my back felt very released and comfortable after the massage. Every piece of mussel was pressed well, especially for the part I felt painful. They gave some extra work based on my requirements.
