My wife and I have ordered from here for probably over a decade, and usually the pizza is very good. the service since the owners stopped manning the store, has always come with a bit of attitude, but you put up with that for the pizza, but this time both sucked in relationship ending way. Started off by not bringing cheese and peppers, saying it has to be written on the ticket? Anyway, I let it go, and was thinking of enjoying the pizza, but upon opening the pizza I noticed the ingredients weren't close to be spread around evenly, in parts no cheese and clumps of ingredients. However, when I ate it, I was like, they left off the anchovies? By the way, the ingredients were designed around the anchovies, black and green olives, pepperoni, sausage, red onions, fresh mushrooms basil and garlic. So it was designed around the anchovies they left off. When I called to complain I was informed it wasn't their fault, it was my fault for not understanding that their pizzas are made by hand when all others are apparently made by machine? Like I haven't eaten a ton of their pizza, over the years and think I know why they're supposed to be worth $30 bucks with $4.00 delivery fee and tip included? I was further informed that it wasn't his fault they didn't know I wanted peppers and cheese, that was because the owner won't spend the money to make sure the system relays delivery instructions? I know it's BS, because I've put them in the delivery instructions before, but since he wouldn't even address leaving off the anchovies, it makes perfect sense. This guy shouldn't be anywhere near the title of Manager, hell he should be lucky if they let him eat his own slop! Oh he wanted me to send him a photo, but instead of texting the phone number to me, he wanted me to write it down? Again he wouldn't even apologize to us for the anchovies being left off the pizza? Saying to my wife, after she said, why are you giving excuses, and not apologizing for the anchovies? He kept explaining why it wasn't his or their fault, I said it was, and he needed to apologize, and so he explained how he wouldn't be talked to like that, and I said yes you will be, ... you piece of s**t and he hung up! By the way I wanted this pizza because I'm having surgery tomorrow, and won't be able to eat until after my afternoon surgery! Thanks again for the experience! read more

A fast food restaurant is more than good food, it's also good service. Today I visited this place to have lunch and I was told that it would take about five minutes to get my order ready. Half an hour later I was still waiting for my food. In the mean time all sorts of orders were going out the door. If you are going to this place and expect to be in and out you are in the wrong place. read more

We ordered from here on a whim. We had just traveled over 7 hours and had two hungry kids to feed. It was late, and to avoid fuss, we just decided on pizza - always a crowd pleaser. My husband opted for the Stromboli, and OH EM GEE. Life changing. Seriously. I occasionally use Brooklyn Pizzeria when I have customers that want pizza. I don't live close to this location so I never eat here with my family. The food: I find that BP has decent pizza. I like it better than the other mega-chain locations that are household names. However, it is still just-above-average in taste and crispiness of crust. The Service: I can call this location and tell them I need 20 pizzas the next day at noon. If I give them a 24 hour notice, they will make sure they deliver. That is very much appreciated. I also tip the driver a decent amount for delivering 20 pizzas. With that being said, you'd think the driver(s) would try a little bit harder when delivering pizzas. Seriously, don't complain to me (the guy giving you a tip) how delivering 20 pizzas sucks. Just smile and leave. On occasion, I use them last minute. Recently, I called in an order of approximately 4 pizzas and drinks. I spent close to $100. I was willing to pick it up since it was last minute. No problem. I pointed at the cups and said I would need cups for the drinks. The employee at the counter told me I would have to pay for cups even though I was buying their pizza and their sodas (I think they were 2-liter bottles but can't remember for sure). I almost lost it. I told him that I'm already spending $100 and should not have to pay for cups. He said he had a smaller cup that was free. I said, "Whatever. I just need cups." He then said, "Well, you pointed at the larger cups and those aren't free." I just needed cups. Explain that in a lesser condescending tone, please. Do kids nowadays not have ANY common sense or ANY customer service skills? Has continuous texting made them lose all of their verbal communication skills? I just HOPE he delivers my next 20 pizzas. "NO TIP FOR YOU." (yelled in my best Seinfeld soup Nazi voice). Bottom line - Decent pizza with decent customer service (most of the time). Some of their staff could use some major customer service training. I'll begrudgingly keep using them when I am in the area and need 20 pizzas. read more

Newly opened restaurant in the Spring/Tomball/ Gleannloch neighborhood. We stopped by for lunch and had the Meat Lover pizza. The time between ordering and food on the table was appropriate. The service was acceptable though I hope it goes up as the staff becomes more comfortable. That said the person who is obviously a manager or owner was very knowledgeable and happy to share tidbits about the restaurant. It is the other servers that need to become more enthusiastic and informed. The pizza was very good. Flavors were perfect and complimentary for an overall delicious flavor. We were given a slice of the Lemoncello dessert cake on the house and WOW! It was incredible. The cake was moist and light and the filling was decadent. Not sure how they do it but the cake part was warm and the filling part was cold. Bottom line, we will absolutely be back to this restaurant. read more

This is a good place for pizza that's not from a chain. No cookie cutter pizza here. This is real pizza. A nice bonus is the non-pizza items. There's stromboli, calzones, pasta, subs, and more. It's a clean place with friendly staff. And the food comes out when it is done. But just because they bring the pizza to your table it doesn't mean you can dig in. You will burn your mouth! Trust me. We now live downtown but we still make the trip up to Humble for this pizza, or I pick it up whenever I am in the area and bring it home and reheat it. This is totally what I call a "Northside Gem".. It's located in Humble and was just what we needed. We get so sick of ordering pizza from the typical chains, because everything tastes the same. Not a Brooklyn! This family owned pizza joint serves up huge slices and isn't as greasy as your typical chain pizza. The staff is super nice and they have great service. The pizza is cheaper and made with fresh ingredients. We visited on a Saturday night and were surprised with all the guests that were having their dinner in the restaurant. We ordered "the Brooklyn" their signature pizza. We didn't even think twice, when the owner recommended it we took it! It was sooo good with tons of meat and cheese. I suggest you try that. This review is more on the delivery and the packaging.. I'm about 5.2 miles from this location and lucky they except my delivery order. I asked him to let me know when they were in the parking lot so I could come downstairs to get the pizza. I live in a apartment and didn't want my dogs barking also my sister was going to be dropping off my five month old nephew and I hate when they bark when he is over it scares him! We grabbed a cab and headed over to Brooklyn Pizzeria based upon the great reviews. The pizza and wings did not disappoint and neither did the price. Great pizza and wings at a very affordable price. Service was fast and the owner waited on us himself. But the thing that puts this place and owner over the top is, when our cab to return to the airport did not show up, the owner loaded us in his personal car and drove us to the airport. He would not take any money, he is just a great human being. Willing to help a person in need. I will remember his kindness and pay it forward next chance I get. read more
