It was Happy Hour so the drinks were at a reduce price and the wine was for the price of 6 oz you got 9oz. The wine red or white and drinks were excellent. Our waiter helps us with the menu. Two of order pork shops, one order chicken Bryan and chicken Parmesan The food was excellent and the service was superb. We had an enjoyable meal. Excellent place to have dinner with friends. We recently decided to try the wine pairing experience and we're somewhat disappointed with what we received. First of all we really enjoyed trying the different wine with each course. The main problem was that the food didn't nearly match the actual photos of what we saw before booking. The first course had just a small smear of goat cheese on a small piece of bread and strawberry jam not a balsamic reduction. The salad in the second course had shrimp that appeared grilled in the photo but was more like boiled shrimp and much smaller than the photo. The pasta course was good. The biggest disappointment was the 9oz filet which was so over seasoned and extremely salty. We couldn't finish it and they need to remove whatever seasoning they are using. Also the shrimp and crab cake topper on the filet was way smaller than what was in the photo and more breading than shrimp or crab. I will say, the service as always was excellent and a shout out to Mason. He was attentive to guests needs and seems to enjoy his work. We love Carrabbas and will continue to dine there but not sure about returning for a wine pairing. read more

Came here for an Italian dinner. I'd been to Carrabba's at different locations in the past, and they've always done a nice enough job. I ordered a cup of the Mama Mandola's chicken soup, the combination appetizer, and the Johnny's Trio main consists of ravioli, sirloin steak, and their popular Chicken Bryan. The soup was nice and homey. It would be perfect for a cold. The appetizer combo contained a lot of calamari, which is fine by me! It was fried very nicely. The Johnny Trio was a good choice to try several items. I surprisingly wasn't a fan of the Chicken Bryan because this is on of their most popular items. The sauce was too lemony for me. Of course I have to mention the complimentary bread with oil and herbs for dipping as it was quite tasty! Atmosphere was nice but casual. Service was okay. Overall a good spot! read more

This review is based off of two different times I have tried their food. The first visit was awesome. Me and one of my work colleagues were in the area so we stopped in grabbed a table for two and had an awesome meal. The food was delicious. The server was fantastic and it's the reason I went back the second time. But the second time, I used, Uber eats and ordered my food and had it delivered to my hotel. I wish I thought in advance to take photos because I found the original ones from my first visit still on my phone... But what I received tonight for the delivery was a vast contrast. There was a little to no sauce on the pasta and I couldn't even touch the salad. The lettuce was wilted so bad. I also had ordered two bottles of sparkling San Pellegrino, and instead got two bottles of flat water. I understand that you never have the same experience when you do delivery, they could've tried a little bit to make it seem like they cared. Sometimes it seems as if they think because you're doing delivery you can't complain if it's bad. It was a pretty unfortunate experience. I come here a lot and I was really hopeful that this would be something I could do during each visit because it was awfully convenient and I don't like eating out by myself. read more

Carrabbas in Kingwood is normally a huge favorite of ours. The dining area is always warm and inviting. However, the last few times we have been, (and today was no different) I'm concerned the food quality is going down. The salad dressings taste different, (almost watered down) even the lettuce is dark and tough. They used to serve a lovely mix of lettuce that everyone in our family loved. (Now not so much) ... I feel the food quality overall is just not as good. Our server today seemed to be new, (which is ok) but she seemed agitated at anything we asked for. (And we were not high maintenance) She did the bare minimum and seemed genuinely thankful when we were done eating. We did not ask for anything special. I hope this isn't the way it's going be now, because after today this is no longer a favorite of mine. Just an average place. :( read more

Celebrating a birthday with a dinner at Carrabba's during the Caymus five-course wine event was truly fantastic from start to finish. Mason and William, who are our favorites, made sure we had an amazing time. We began with a meatball paired with a red blend. The second course was a salad topped with eggplant and pistachio-crusted goat cheese, paired with a white wine. For the third course, we enjoyed a risotto topped with shredded short rib, paired with a red. The fourth course was a perfectly cooked filet, served with asparagus and potatoes, accompanied by a red wine. And to top it all off, we had a hazelnut torta and another red blend. I have not been here in years. After going to Mia's Table and learning they had the same corporate ownership, I decided to try it again. I'm so glad. The service was amazing. The place was clean. Our food was so good. The chicken soup is going to be my go-to order now. It was delicious. We loved the fried zucchini as an appetizer. Their salads were so fresh and delicious. My scallops and shrimp was great too but I was so full, I didn't finish it. I did however have the Limoncello bread pudding. I don't even like bread pudding, but I love lemon, so I gave it a shot. It took 30 min to get apps and then they were cold. The mgr served us a side of ranch and I asked why it took so long because there are MANY EPTY SEATS. She said the are soon busy and the place i packed so they are running behind. I said I have been here when every seat is full and had no issues. She shrugged her shoulders and walked away. I ordered soup for a reason at 9:00 at night, I was really freaking pissed off and worn out and couldn't go out and get canned soups as a replacement. I ordered again, 2 bowls of chicken soup, and they had no idea the ordeal I was in- but came through with a huge bowl plus some. Whoever was working this day, and made the choice to give me all the soup left instead of throwing it away, you really broke my heart with love. Thank you, thank you. The Carrabba's in Kingwood is by far the most disappointing Carrabba's I've ever ordered from--and that's saying something. They consistently leave items out of my order. Bread? Missing. The dipping oil and seasoning? Also missing. How hard is it to get the basics right? The meatballs were flavorless and mushy. The lasagna arrived cold, bland, and with a presentation so poor it was hardly appetizing. For the price they charge, the quality should at least be decent. Instead, it's not even mediocre. Carrabba's corporate should be ashamed that this location represents their brand. Save your money and your appetite--go elsewhere. read more

Wait staff are not professional looking and are not disciplined. You allow them to bring and babysit their kids in the dinning room? They are busy doing that rather than taking care of the customers. Again waiter asked no question why we were not eating anything. $80 after tip and had 5 bites and three croutons. Outrageous!! Saturday afternoon & we should have been told it would be that much money! Still in shock!! Most places equivalent to Carrabba's charge $15 for a glass of wine (Pappa's Seafood, Zammitti's, etc.) but $29 is just ridiculous!! I would have NOT ordered it IF I knew it cost more than my entre!! Went for lunch today with family and the lasagna was not how it used to be and taste. Not Carabbas style or flavor. It was pure cheese and red sauce and very little pasta lots of it red sauce and hardly or no meat that I could see and taste . My husband gave me one bite and it was all soft cheese . My husband and I took a trip to Texas from California and by the time we got to Carrabba's my Husband and I were extremely tired and Hungry and jet lagged; well all of that took a turn when our server Edward introduced hisself. Not only did he meet our every need of customer service he made sure he ALWAYS checked in on us from beginning, middle and end, not to mention making us laugh with his comical humor! While the food is consistent and delicious, the service is not. I visit once a week. Tonight, I was sat at a table with residual olive oil and food crumbs. Someone isn't executing on their job well and management is not following up. The menu had smudged food on the front. The hostesses at the front desk have a styrofoam cup visible right when you walk in. This location has been struggling for some time. Must look to management on these items because they aren't doing their job properly in setting expectations for the clientele nor are they following to ensure daily front house operations are being executed effectively.
